Bob Shieffer once thought that Barack Obama would add $200 billion to the deficit ... over his term in office. It would really be interesting to see how he excuses Obama for making $200 billion a rounding error. Is there anyone who thinks that he would not?

Federal Spending, December 2010 to December 2011:
$3.565 Trillion.
Average rate of spending growth under Obama in 3 years 8 months - 2.2%.
Spending has not been under such a slow rate of growth since the 1992-1994 period.
But why let facts get in the way of a good story though???
