Justice Is Coming: Carter Page Takes Comey, McCabe, Strzok to Court in $75M Obamagate Lawsuit

 

 The lawsuit names a host of defendants, including the federal government of the United States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Justice (DOJ), former FBI Director James Comey, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, former FBI agent Peter Strzok, former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, FBI agent Joe Pientka III, and more. These individuals and others have confessed to compiling and approving four FISA warrants to spy on Page despite numerous errors and omissions — warrants Comey and others said they would not have signed, knowing what they know now.

Peter Strzok’s arrogance is the product of a corrupt FBI

I could not agree more.

Watching FBI agent Peter Strzok battle with Congress, my initial reaction was pure anger. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad.

Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted.

Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of his malignant presence on the FBI payroll?

My answers can be summarized in four names: James Comey, Jeff Sessions, Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray. They are chief culprits in the death of public trust in the Department of Justice.

The cause of death was murder, and it was an inside job.

A short history of Democrat-spy collusion

Recall that the NY Times and Washington Post "reported" quite a number of time lines explaining the Genesis of the "Trump colluded with the Russians" investigation. First here was the belief that the obscure Carter Page was recruited by the Russians, until that fable fell apart. No, no we were told. In the beginning it was the 20-something and even more obscure George Papadopoulous who got drunk and told an Australian diplomat - who had arranged for a $25 million gift to the Clintons - that the Russian had dirt on Hillary.

There are details yet to come, but here is the bottom line, the irreducible minimum. A cabal of CIA and FBI operatives, including the Director of the CIA, John Brennan, along with other members of the intelligence “community,” prominently including James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence, and various members of the Obama administration, colluded to undermine Donald Trump’s campaign.

Like almost everyone else, they assumed that Hillary Clinton was a shoo-in, so they were careless about covering their tracks. If Hillary had won, the department of Justice would have been her Department of Justice, John Brennan would still be head of the CIA, and the public would never have known about the spies, the set-ups, the skulduggery.

But Hillary did not win. For the last 16 months, we’ve watched as that exiled cabal shifted its efforts from stopping Trump from winning to a desperate effort to destroy his Presidency. Thanks to the patient work of Devin Nunes, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, and a handful of GOP Senators, that effort is now disintegrating. What is being exposed is the biggest political scandal in the history of the United States: the effort by highly placed—exactly how highly placed we still do not know—members of one administration to mobilise the intelligence services and police power of the state to spy upon and destroy first the candidacy and then, when that didn’t work, the administration of a political rival.

It is banana republic behaviour, but it looks now as if those responsible for this effort to undermine American democracy and repeal the results of a free, open, and democratic election will be exposed. Let’s hope that they are also held to account.

They are all becoming unhinged in front of our eyes.  They have lost control and are terrified that prison awaits.  Recall what happened to leading members of the Nixon administration after Watergate.  Also recall that Watergate was a botched attempt to spy.  Spygate was a successful spying operation.  Much worse.   People are already asking what did Obama know and when did he know it.

RUSSIAN COLLUSION Moves to a New Level. The Hunters Become the Hunted.

The Russian Collusion scenario is now moving to a new level. What happens when government leaders use the powers that enable our government to spy on foreign adversaries and used them to spy on Americans who just happened to be their political adversaries?

The underbrush is being cleared away and - while the MSM will not mention the name of Barack Obama when discussing these issues – it will soon become obvious where this is heading. The hunters have become the hunted.

A quick peek at the Wall Street Journal from somewhere in the not too distant future: the following people are indicted and convicted of illegally spying on the Trump campaign: James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Loretta Lynch, John Brennan, James Clapper, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton … and others yet to be named. Some do time for the crime, others for the cover-up.

And I dig reading about the Masons and the Bilderberg Group and the Illuminati and shit, but sometimes a conspiracy is pretty much just like the clique of cool girls in a high school. They don't consider themselves in a conspiracy, they just want to make sure the other chicks stay in their place. Like, don't dare sit at that table in the cafeteria, that is our table, you pull that shit and we'll spread nasty shit around about you.

So it's not like the mean girls are fronting for space aliens or the Majestic-12, they're just marking their territory. And that seems pretty much like what a lot of unelected people do in our government: they're marking their territory, and they get all bitchy and underhanded if you try to call them on their shit.

And at least some of the mean girls after high school end up being knocked down a peg or two, because, like, the people in the office don't give a fuck who you were in high school and shit. But in government jobs you never have to graduate, you can stay in high school your entire life where everything's cool and you make the rules, and like, you're a Senior forever.

Like, I didn't like high school in the first place, but this government shit really sucks ass.

Comey’s last stand for the deep state

When even Clinton supporters like Mark Penn, who served as pollster and adviser to President Clinton from 1995 to 2000, begins to speak out about this witch hunt, the witch hunters will soon realize that the game is up.  Everyone who participated, including Mueller, Comey, Brennan and the other members of the Obama gang who participated on this conspiracy to overturn an election are going to need lots of lawyers.  I suspect that there will be trials that will shake the country and re-direct the political landscape.

They were among the most powerful men of the last decade. They commanded armies of armed agents, had the ability to bug and wiretap almost anyone, and had virtually unlimited budgets. They were the leadership of the FBI, the CIA and the director of national intelligence under President Obama. Each day, it becomes clearer that they are the real abusers of power in this drama.

The book by former FBI Director James Comey and the daily hyperbolic John Brennan sound bites are perhaps the final reveal of just how much hubris and vitriol they had. Comey’s book, according to reports, contains nothing new of legal consequence to Trump (while suggesting that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch has something to worry about), but it unmasks the hatred that Comey had for Donald Trump from the beginning. It impeaches Comey’s fitness to have ever held high, nonpartisan office.

Whether you are a Democrat who can’t stand Trump, a Hillary Clinton supporter who feels robbed by Comey, or a Trump supporter, any use of wiretapping and vast prosecutorial machinery against our political campaigns and sitting presidents always has to be viewed skeptically and should meet the highest standards of conduct and impartiality. The post-election actions of these former officials makes suspect their actions as officials.

It was, after all, Comey who went to the president during the transition seeking a one-on-one meeting to tell him about the inflammatory dossier, but who critically omitted telling the president that the dossier was a product of the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. These facts, he knew, if revealed at that moment in January, would have ended further inquiry. This was no effort to inform the president and douse the fires of unverified and salacious information, but one to inflame the president and spread the stories everywhere.

Unlike a murder or a robbery that has a specific trail of facts that can be investigated, Russia collusion is an allegation that could never be disproved. The accusation allowed special counsel Robert Mueller to investigate the entirety of the Trump campaign, every aspect of the presidential transition, and even interview 27 White House aides.

When that did not bear fruit, the special counsel could start looking at every business transaction with Russians or foreigners who knew Russians. After all, collusion could be hiding anywhere — in a speech given years ago, a condo bought a decade ago by an oligarch — so he could search for it everywhere.

The Mueller investigation bears all of the hallmarks of prosecutorial overreach: pre-dawn raids, denial of reasonable bail, threats to prosecute family members, investigations of unrelated business matters. He didn’t appropriately subpoena selected transition emails but collected every email in the entire transition without notice, prying them from holdover employees at the General Services Administration.

On the House side, Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., among a few others, was allowed to read the memos under the same conditions: FBI minder, no copies, no notes.

What struck Gowdy was the general absence of classified information in the memos or any other reason they should remain secret. Out of a total of seven memos, the FBI had marked four as classified at the "secret" or "confidential" levels — not the highest level — but even with those memos, it appeared to Gowdy that they could be released publicly with only minimal blacking-out.

"What would need to be redacted would be incredibly small and really would not interfere with the substance of the memos," Gowdy told me in a phone conversation Wednesday. "I read them a long time ago, and I still don't know why they're not in the public domain. If they were really helpful for the Democrats, they would have been leaked a long time ago."...

"I have read the memos," Gowdy said on Fox News "Special Report" Monday. "They would be defense Exhibit A in an obstruction of justice case — not prosecution exhibit, defense Exhibit A. If Comey felt obstructed, he did a masterful job of keeping it out of the memos."

It's becoming too obvious to ignore.  At this point more people are beginning to believe that the FBI, DOJ, CIA and the entire security apparatus of the US under Obama was one large criminal enterprise.

Was Lynch coordinating with Comey in the Clinton investigation?

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch knew well in advance of FBI Director James Comey's 2016 press conference that he would recommend against charging Hillary Clinton, according to information turned over to the Senate Homeland Security Committee on Friday.

The revelation was included in 384 pages of text messages exchanged between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, and it significantly diminishes the credibility of Lynch's earlier commitment to accept Comey's recommendation — a commitment she made under the pretense that the two were not coordinating with each other.

And it gets worse. Comey and Lynch reportedly knew that Clinton would never face charges even before the FBI conducted its three-hour interview with Clinton, which was supposedly meant to gather more information into her mishandling of classified information.

On July 1, 2016, as the Lynch announcement became public, Page texted Strzok:

Page: And yeah, it’s a real profile in couragw [sic], since she knows no charges will be brought.

It was all a fraud, a scam, to fool the American people.

Congress to Probe Leaks After New Strzok/Page Texts Indicate Prior Knowledge of News Articles

We've known for the past year and a half that bad actors in the United States intelligence community have been leaking anti-Trump information to the media.

Now it appears congressional Republicans may have identified who the culprits behind some of these leaks are.

New text messages between FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page provided to lawmakers and reviewed by The Hill have prompted Republican-led House and Senate committees to investigate whether leaders of the Russia counterintelligence investigation leaked classified information to the news media. Not only do the texts strongly suggest the pair leaked, they also show them digging up personal information about a New York Times reporter, and savaging media personalities -- including Megyn Kelly.

Grassley Says Comey Appears To Have Leaked Classified Memo To Friend

He [Grassley] said that during a recent review of the memos, which was held in a secure facility, FBI personnel “refused” to answer questions about the chain of custody of the memos, the dates on which they were deemed classified, and who made those determinations.

In his letter, Grassley asked Rosenstein to clarify whether the DOJ or FBI have determined whether any of the memos that Comey sent to Richman contained classified information and which of the seven Comey memos had been provided to Richman.

Grassley is also inquiring when Richman received the memos and whether any had classification markings on them at the time they were exchanged.

The Republican also seeks details about how Comey transmitted the memos to Richman and whether the Justice Department has initiated an investigation into improper disclosure of classified information.

The GOP sources said the documents — made available recently to lawmakers by the Department of Justice — revealed that James Baker, the FBI's general counsel, communicated with Mother Jones reporter David Corn in the weeks leading up to the November 2016 election. Corn was the first to report the existence of the dossier on Oct. 31 and that it was compiled by a former high-level western spy.

We now get a better view of "The Swamp" when the curtain gets pulled back and Democrats are no longer fully in charge of covering up. 

Message to James Comey: nobody believes you anymore.

Payback for firing Mueller's buddy Comey

We have a special counsel because the limp wristed liar James Comey wanted one.

What, at this point, is the rationale for having a “special counsel” investigate matters relating to Russian involvement in the 2016 election and matters stemming from the investigation of these matters? We don’t need a special counsel to investigate Russian interference in itself. The FBI and various congressional committees can handle that.

We don’t need a special counsel to investigate allegations of collusion by President Trump. After about a year of digging, no one has uncovered evidence of such collusion. Indeed, James Comey admitted that Trump wasn’t under investigation for collusion (or anything else).

We don’t need a special counsel to investigate people like Paul Manafort and Roger Stone. Comey said that President Trump was fine with letting the chips fall where they may as to these “satellite associates.”

Do we need a special counsel to investigate Michael Flynn? I don’t think so. Trump apparently said he hoped Comey would go easy on Flynn, but that ship has sailed. If Trump wants to intervene again on Flynn’s behalf, it will surely be at the pardon or commutation stage.

Trump's Complaint Against Comey Likely to Fail, But Be Effective

Good. It's about time our side use lawfare.

If Comey and Mueller are friends there is an obvious conflict of interest.  I have been wondering why Mueller and Comey were allowed to collude before Comey's testimony.

The complaint which President Trump's lawyer has threatened to file against former FBI director James Comey, for admittedly leaking memos about his conversations with the president, is almost certain to fail in a legal sense, but it could be very successful in many other ways, says public interest law professor John Banzhaf....

However, notes Banzhaf, even a complaint which fails legally, and does not trigger any prosecution or other adverse action against the respondent, can be very beneficial to Trump and his team.

First, the actual filing of the complaint is bound to generate considerable publicity, thereby providing an additional opportunity for his lawyers to try to explain in great detail to the public why they think Comey's conduct was wrongful and even illegal.

Second, the filing and resulting investigation would undercut Comey's credibility as a witness in any criminal proceeding, in the ongoing credibility battle between himself and Trump, and generally in the eyes of the public, suggests Banzhaf.

Third, it could create an apparent conflict of interest in the eyes of many since the same agency which would supposedly be conducting an impartial investigation of Comey is at the very same time working with him to obtain documents and testimony for Mueller's investigation.

Moreover, since Comey's own testimony strongly suggested that he and Mueller are friends, Trump can claim that Mueller will try to persuade those investigating the complaint against Comey to go easy on him - a bizarre parallel to what Comey claims Trump asked him to do regarding Michael Flynn.
