The Greatest Islamophobia Hoax in America Exposed

The ‘Islamophobic’ shooter of three ‘Palestinians’ in Vermont actually supported Hamas.

When three Arab Muslim students were shot and wounded in Burlington, Vermont, politicians and the media immediately hyped it as the ‘Islamophobic Crime of the Century’.....
President Biden...Vice President Kamala Harris...Bernie Sanders...Sen Peter Welch...Sarah George, the local State’s Attorney...Burlington Police Chief Jon Murad...Vermont Lt. Gov. David Zuckerman...

All of these claims, along with many others around the shootings, were based on lies.

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee falsely claimed that “a man shouted and harassed the victims, then proceeded to shoot them. We have reason to believe this shooting occurred because the victims are Arab.”

In reality, they had been shot by a local resident outside his house who did not say a word....
The three Muslim men were returning home from a party on Saturday night when James J. Eaton, a local resident with a history of mental instability, stumbled out of a white clapboard house on the residential street and without a word fired four shots at the three men.

Eaton had been described as “that hippie guy” and “progressive”, an organic farmer who had posted a meme with a definition of “Amerika” that called it “the worst sense of the United States, ie imperialism, corruption and the global exportation of American culture.”

He appeared to be a Biden supporter

Media outlets, anti-Israel activists and politicians attributed the shootings to the Hamas war. Everyone from Biden and Kamala on down emphasized the “Palestinian” identities of those shot and implied that Eaton had attacked them because he was opposed to the ‘Palestinian’ cause.

In reality, Eaton supported Hamas.

Weaponizing Death

Recently, there has been a spate of horrific murders.

The killers, whether committing mass shootings or single homicides, are hard to stereotype.

They can be clearly either mentally ill or simply innately evil. They can kill for revenge, for ideological purposes, out of hatred, for notoriety -- or for no known reason at all.

They are probably left-wing and right-wing, white, Black, and brown, young, and old. While their weapons of choice are semi-automatic rifles, there are plenty of killers who favor handguns and even knives.

Unfortunately, these tragedies have increasingly become politicized.

Yet our media and politicians do not apply a common standard of reporting about either the victims, the killers, or the apparent motives and circumstances of the violence.

Instead, each horror is quickly analyzed for its political usefulness. Then its details are selectively downplayed or emphasized, depending upon the political agenda at work.

A sad example was the terrible murder spree at the private Christian Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. A transgender male shot and killed six people, including three 9-year-old children.

Almost immediately, three media narratives emerged.

One, semi-automatic weapons, not the killer Audrey Hale, were mostly responsible for the massacre.

Two, the shooter's transgender identity profile played no role in the killing whatsoever.

Three, the public had no need to know of the contents of the shooter's "manifesto."

Why?

The media and authorities apparently assumed Hale's written rantings tried to justify the murders because of Christianity's supposed disapproval of transgenderism.

MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan Gets Basic Facts Wrong on DHS Content Moderation Partners

NOTE: MSNBC is a fount of lies and false accusations.

MSNBC pundit Mehdi Hasan, in a series of tweets over the last five days, has repeatedly claimed that Matt Taibbi “deliberately & under oath misrepresented” the facts when he testified to Congress last month.

Hasan linked to a video of Taibbi's testimony, in which the Racket News journalist noted that "Twitter executives did not distinguish between [the Department of Homeland Security] or [the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency] and this group [the Election Integrity Partnership]" and that emails show and EIP worked in concert with CISA to flag content for moderation. Hasan claimed this is a lie, that Taibbi conflated a private nonprofit with a government agency during his testimony, and that EIP only worked with the Center for Internet Security, or CIS, a private sector organization with a similar acronym, not CISA.

It’s a serious charge and federal crime to make false statements to Congress, one punishable with prison time.

But the record shows that CISA, the government agency, was involved in the very formation of EIP and was one of the most important government partners to the group in its bid to influence content moderation decisions at firms such as Facebook and Twitter. EIP’s own leaders have said as much, and there is endless documentation – from publicly available websites, to discovery from litigation, and from the “Twitter Files” – that all confirm this relationship and CISA’s role in assisting EIP.

In other words, Hasan is wrong and presents a deeply distorted view of the mechanics of this process. Taibbi’s testimony, especially the video excerpted by Hasan, is accurate.

The Regime Media Has Earned Our Distrust

For several days, the regime media put out a story about an underway-clad intruder who encountered an underwear-clad Paul Pelosi at 2:30 a.m. in his mansion. Paul Pelosi is known to have substance issues, having famously just gotten a DUI. Reports said he called the man his “friend” to the 911 dispatcher. Reports identified the alleged intruder as a nudist activist from a commune in Berkeley. There was a third-person involved who opened the door for the cops. Photos showed glass outside the house – kind of odd if this was a break-in. There was apparently no security, which is weird since Nancy Pelosi has not been shy about claiming those scary insurrectionists want to murder her. This was the story the regime media reported.

Of course, any fair-minded person would assume that this was a MAGA assassin, if that fair-minded person had gobbled a handful of mushrooms and washed them down with Everclear.

Now, weirdness in ‘Frisco is part of the City’s DNA – I grew up just outside it and it’s always been a freak show. But the event probably would have drawn little speculation, being just another manifestation of the crime in yet another Democrat metropolis, if the Democrats had not decided to try to blame conservatives for it.

Not surprisingly, since the facts the facts as initially reported were very odd indeed, people questioned the bizarre scenario being pushed by the regime media. And the skeptics were right to question the narrative, since the key facts recited above were radically changed from those in the previous reports. Now only the intruder is in his skivvies, and maybe not him either. There is no explanation of the “friend” comment – at this writing the official 911 tape has not been released, not has any security video or bodycam footage. That third party has now been erased. There is still no explanation regarding the lack of security. And suddenly this guy allegedly has some incoherent ramblings about 9/11, Jews and other stuff.

In other words, the facts – reported by the regime media – that underlay people’s original skepticism have changed. The regime media admits – or claims, because who knows what the truth is – that key original facts that spurred the suspicion about the story were false. So, when the regime media complains that people do not believe the Official Approved Narrative™ they are really saying is, “You were wrong for believing what we told you.”

And, of course, the fact that the regime media is pushing the Democrat Big Lie that Republicans are somehow responsible for this guy – who, if you totally buy the regime media’s latest story, is a raving loony – means that the regime media deserves even less trust. But then, the regime media’s track record of Big Lies designed to support Democrat political agendas by slandering conservatives is long and shameful just in the last few years…

Trump was a Russian agent

The dossier and Trump’s pee tape

“Hands up don’t shoot”

Nicolas Sandman

Jussie Smollett

The rapist fraternity in Virginia

That race car driver with the racist garage pull

Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation

Yeah, but we should not only totally believe this story without question despite the ever-changing facts but we should hang our heads in shame and accept that we, as conservatives, are personally responsible for what this schizo freak allegedly thought.

No.

The regime media has not earned our trust. The regime media does not get the benefit of the doubt. In fact, it has earned our active distrust both by its endless series of lies about us in other cases and by its, at best, inaccurate reporting and scummy slander in this one. The idea that because the FBI says something or the regime media says something we must take it at face value is a non-starter.

A crazy person was always a possibility, but that fit neither with the facts as the regime media initially reported them, nor with the rabid reaction of the Democrats and their media minions in trying to blame us for the events. You don’t get to tell a disgusting lie about a group of people – “Your right-wing views were the cause of this!” – and then expect the slandered to just accept the rest of what you say as if it is gospel. If this latest version of the facts is true, this is a nut who did what nuts do – and who would not have been able to do it if the Democrats themselves did not allow kooks to wander their streets. But as the red wave approaches, in their desperation, the Democrats seek to lie about us and blame us for him, and then act all huffy when we refuse to go along with it.

Many Republicans responded to the initial reports by condemning the crime and hoping for Pelosi’s swift recovery. Those of us who have been here before knew what was coming, though, and it did. The Democrats spit in the faces of those offering condolences, and lied about them causing this attack. Many of us expected that, and the left lived down to our expectations.

Well, we’re not sitting back and accepting the Democrat Big Lie. We’re not going to take the blame for what, if the latest story is accurate, is the result of urban Democrat policies that tolerate madness. And we are not going to be silent.

When there are not enough racists, the Media invents them

By Drew Holden

🧵THREAD🧵

I know it may seem straight out of Curb Your Enthusiasm, but the supposed-racist-barrage-turned-innocent-fan-behavior this weekend in Colorado says a lot about the media.

I try to unpack why after some highlights from the unfounded outrage. ⤵️
For those unaware: over the weekend, a fan reportedly called an MLB player a racial slur. Not 24 hours later, the team concluded he was just calling out the name of the team’s mascot, Dinger.

But if you read the @nytimes, that the story was even in doubt likely escaped you.Image
But, as ever, it wasn’t just the Times. Not to be outdone, @CNN also got in on the act, making the same allegation.

Again, no hesitation, no couched language, no waiting for the story to play out with additional information. Just confident - and totally misplaced - assurance.Image

Shaping the news: Did the New York Times stifle lab leak debate?

Great article on the way that the New York Times tried to destroy the truth about the Wuhan Insitute of Virology as the source of the Covid virus that has killed millions.

Read the whole thing.

But the following comment also deserves reading.  Especially the last part.

As a result I find myself reading less and less reportage and instead choose to read more opinion pieces, simply because it is explicitly the opinion of the writer, that a reader can judge on its merits,  and not something that purports to be objective reporting whilst only offering half the facts and with a liberal/woke subtext smuggled in.

.Alexander Wood

.. The NYT is an extreme example, but this is happening across most mainstream media outlets to some degree or another. The Guardian and BBC very much to the fore in this country. Any writers and public intellectuals who don’t go along with this liberal Metropolitan worldview are branded heretics – I’m delighted to note this site is still home to many such heretics, and long may that continue!

You’re struggling to understand why some people are vaccine hesitant. The “let me help you” megathread:

Imagine you’re a normal person. The year is 2016. Rightly or wrongly, you believe most of what you see in the media.

You believe polls are broadly reflective of public opinion. You believe doctors and scientists are trustworthy and independent. You’re a decent, reasonable person who follows the rules and trusts authority.

Imagine your shock then, when Brexit, which you were assured won’t happen because it’s a fringe movement led by racists for racists, happens. The polls, which widely predicted it wouldn’t happen were completely wrong.

The experts and media pundits who told you it wouldn’t happen day after day are also wrong. “Oh well” you say, “these things happen”.

Imagine that soon after Donald Trump is running for President. You are told by your favourite media publications that he is going to lose.

Some experts say his opponent has a 99% chance of winning.

Imagine waking up on the morning after the election to discover that pollsters, media experts and politicians you still trusted were wrong again.

The man who predicted 49 out of 50 states in 2012 has said who will win on Tuesday
