Bombshell: FBI offered Christopher Steele $1 million to prove his dossier was true

THIS IS HOW CORRUPT THE FBI IS!

Donald Trump was dogged by the false allegations made in the Christopher Steele dossier throughout his presidency. The media obsessed about it. Adam Schiff kept on claiming that it was true. A Special Counsel investigation was initiated. Impeachment followed.

And after years of this the Mueller Report showed it to be totally bogus. It was prepared and paid for by the Clinton campaign, and the complicit FBI ran with it for the sole purpose of smearing and crippling Donald Trump.

Now, in a bombshell report, CNN revealed that the FBI knew with complete certainty that it was all crap. After examining it the FBI offered the author of the Dossier Christopher Steele $1 million if he could substantiate the allegations.

They never paid him, of course, because it was made up from beginning to end.

Auten also said Steele refused to provide the names of any of his sources during that meeting, and that Steele didn’t give the FBI anything during that meeting that corroborated the claims in his explosive dossier.

Hillary did it. And the FBI helped.

That’s the Occam’s Razor conclusion behind court action in Washington last week that added new details to a growing mountain of evidence about the true forces behind the sensational “Russia collusion” allegations that nearly brought down the Trump presidency.

John Durham, the special counsel appointed to investigate the Russia mess, lost his case in a DC courtroom. The jury acquitted Washington attorney Michael Sussmann, a DC insider with deep connections to the Democratic Party and the intelligence community, on the only charge Durham managed to bring: a single false-statements count alleging that Sussmann lied to the FBI when he brought it allegations of a link between Trump and Moscow’s Putin-connected Alfa Bank.

Why did the DC jury acquit Sussmann? As Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton tweeted last week—politics in the heavily Democratic district aside—the “simplest answer is the evidence— which suggested the Obama FBI leadership knew full well the Clinton gang was behind the Alfa Bank-Russia smears of Trump. Durham tried to pretend Obama FBI was a victim. It was a co-conspirator.”

FBI Discovers Building Full Of Dangerous Extremists Organizing Acts Of Terror Across Country

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Federal Bureau of Investigations has announced that it has uncovered a group planning to hatch terror plots all across the country. In a shocking twist, the organization is headquartered right in Washington, D.C., at the J. Edgar Hoover FBI building.

The group was uncovered after FBI agents began tracing most of the terror plots in this country back to one giant organization. "This is bigger than any of us realize," said the founder of the FBI, Bob FBI. "It's all connected. Pretty much every terror plot of the last few decades was being encouraged in secret by this one giant, shadowy organization. But rest assured, we're going to make sure these guys pay for what they've done to our country. No one hatches terror plots under our watch."

"They were right under our noses this whole time," said one FBI agent as he prepared to raid the FBI building, where hundreds of FBI agents were working on terror plots to be enacted all across the country and around the world. "We're gonna take these guys down."

The agent then rushed the building. "Freeze!" he shouted. "Oh, hey Steve!" he added, greeting the receptionist. "We still on for golf tomorrow?"

At publishing time, the FBI had hatched a plot to help FBI agents help other FBI agents hatch terror plots so they could catch them in the act.

Seriously, how much longer can the FBI - or any organization - continue to function when they are the subject of this much ridicule.  When the FBI image goes from the Efram Zimbalist  to this ....

 -  a wife beater who helped set up a couple of dupes in a fake kidnapping plot, you have a big, big problem.

The Antifa/FBI Coalition

Prior to Jan. 6, Trump supporters had held dozens of mass rallies without burning cities or murdering people.  This was a major embarrassment for the Deep State.  Media coverage of the Jan. 6 event has been largely successful in minimizing that embarrassment.  This was a major Deep State coup and the planning and execution of this "insurrection" reveal a disturbing relationship between the government and radical groups. The FBI did not only fail to adequately prevent the disturbance, they appear to have actively facilitated it. The FBI and radical leftists are branches of the Deep State.

Why are the thousands of videotapes of the events of January 6th not being released?

Part of the reason for the feds not releasing the government videos is that there are literally tens of thousands of researchers who plan on viewing the tapes. They may reveal FBI informants taking part in the violence.  The left has an extensive network of training facilities for agents provocateurs.

DID THE FBI PROMOTE THE PLOT TO KIDNAP GOV. WHITMER?

The answer to this question appears to be that, yes, the FBI did. At any rate, that conclusion follows from this BuzzFeed article.

....

[S]ome of those informants, acting under the direction of the FBI, played a far larger role than has previously been reported. Working in secret, they did more than just passively observe and report on the actions of the suspects. Instead, they had a hand in nearly every aspect of the alleged plot, starting with its inception. The extent of their involvement raises questions as to whether there would have even been a conspiracy without them.

A longtime government informant from Wisconsin, for example, helped organize a series of meetings around the country where many of the alleged plotters first met one another and the earliest notions of a plan took root, some of those people say. The Wisconsin informant even paid for some hotel rooms and food as an incentive to get people to come.

[A key informant] became so deeply enmeshed in a Michigan militant group that he rose to become its second-in-command, encouraging members to collaborate with other potential suspects and paying for their transportation to meetings. He prodded the alleged mastermind of the kidnapping plot to advance his plan, then baited the trap that led to the arrest. . . .

Last week, the lawyer for one defendant filed a motion that included texts from an FBI agent to a key informant. . .directing him to draw specific people into the conspiracy — potential evidence of entrapment that he said the government “inadvertently disclosed.”

It's now become obvious that it was really an FBI plot all along to fake a kidnapping of Governor Whitmer to smear her opponents.   Anyone involved who was not part of the FBI plot was a dupe working at the FBI's direction.

Defund the FBI

The FBI's Jaw-Dropping Conclusion About Leftist Terrorism Raises Serious Questions:

The Dirty FBI

Last week, Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) revealed an utterly shocking fact: when a deranged leftist named James Hodgkinson opened fire on congressional Republicans in 2017, nearly killing GOP Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), the FBI ruled the shooting a “suicide by cop.” Even FBI agents disputed the ruling, Wenstrup added.

“I was there in Alexandria, Virginia, on the morning of June 14, 2017, when a shooter attacked Republican members of Congress practicing for a charity baseball game,” Wenstrup began in a hearing on Thursday. “We know from [the shooter’s] social media posts that he hated Republicans and that he hated President Trump. He loved Bernie Sanders and he held left-wing beliefs. We know he carried in his pocket that day a target list with names of Republican congressmen… that included their physical descriptions.”

The shooter also reportedly asked a congressman whether those practicing on the field were Republicans or Democrats. He fired 136 rounds at those on the field, after confirming that they were Republicans. Wenstrup briefly listed a few of the key facts that “by the grace of God” enabled the Capitol Police to take down the shooter before he could kill any congressmen. Even so, Scalise barely survived with his life.

Wenstrup described the shooting as an attempted “insurrection.”

“Trapped in a field would have been 20 to 30 Republicans assassinated, and the attacker may have believed that he could change the balance of power in the U.S. House of Representatives in one morning,” the congressman added.

He noted that the FBI did not call any of the congressmen as witnesses about the shooting, but “on November 16, 2017, FBI agents briefed those of us that were on the field that day… Much to our shock that day, the FBI concluded that this was a case of the attacker seeking ‘suicide by cop.'”

“Director, if you want suicide by cop, you just pull a gun on a cop. It doesn’t take 136 rounds. It takes one bullet,” Wenstrup noted. “Both the [Department of Homeland Security] and the [Office of the Director of National Intelligence] published products labeling this attack as a domestic violent extremism event, specifically targeting Republican members of Congress. The FBI did not. The FBI still has not.”...

In the Trump-Russia investigation, the FBI targeted a Republican presidential campaign based on salacious and unverified claims in a document that his Democratic opponent’s campaign funded. Only this kind of heinous political bias could explain how the FBI could forcibly bury Hodgkinson’s clear motivations.

This is the same FBI that claimed Antifa was just an idea.

FOIA Release Showcases FBI Small Group Coordinating With Media To Push Russia Narrative in 2017 Exactly as Suspected

Jim Sciutto, Evan Perez and Carl Bernstein were coordinating the attack against Trump through Jake Tapper’s show on CNN.  The FBI small group were well aware of what the CNN crew were planning.  FBI Spokesperson Mike Kortan was coordinating the narrative on behalf of the FBI team.  The FBI knew the underlying premise was entirely false and likely so too did the CNN crew as we outlined in “The Anatomy of a Political Smear.”

FBI Report Warned Of ‘War’ At Capitol, Contradicting Claims There Was No Indication Of Looming Violence

A day before rioters stormed Congress, an FBI office in Virginia issued an explicit internal warning that extremists were preparing to travel to Washington to commit violence and “war,” according to an internal document reviewed by The Washington Post that contradicts a senior official’s declaration the bureau had no intelligence indicating anyone at last week’s pro-Trump protest planned to do harm.

Today the House of Representatives is busy impeaching Donald Trump for the crime of inciting violence via a speech he gave to demonstrators in Washington DC who were there to show their support.

It’s no surprise to learn that FBI agents knew about the anti-Trump coup and stayed silent

Did I call it or what? I said all along that the rank and file FBI agents would not speak up. The pressures of maintaining a middle-class lifestyle, especially when living in an expensive area like D.C. and the surrounding suburbs, would outweigh any moral considerations.

Let me say again that, much as I feel disdain for the choices these employees made, I’m not sure that I would have had the moral fiber to do better. I’d certainly like to think that, if I saw the Federal Bureau of Investigation plotting a coup against a duly elected president, I’d speak up, but I don’t know. I can imagine myself thinking, “I’ve got a Mortgage, college funds, insurance payments, car payments, a house in a good neighborhood with good schools,” and a whole laundry list of other things (and people) dependent on my salary and, even more importantly, my benefits. I can then imagine telling myself that the FBI management must know what it’s doing, that everything will work out or, maybe, that I should have the taxpayers buy me insurance to protect all my middle-class concerns.

Middle-class fragility is real. This isn’t like that stupid “white privilege, white fragility” garbage that Critical Race Theory spouts. CRT holds that whites will viciously protect their turf to make sure that all the various non-white groups don’t take from them. Nonsense. Middle-class people aren’t driven by race fear. They’re driven by mortgage payments fear. And these FBI agents were willing to go along with trying to overthrow an elected president to keep paying those mortgages.

Shame on them! And, God willing, if I ever face that kind of moral dilemma, I hope I make better choices.

Acting DNI Ric Grenell Announces the FBI Will No Longer be Giving Intelligence-Based Threat Briefings to Candidates – FBI Frozen Out

The FBI cannot be trusted after what they did to President Trump during the 2016 election and beyond.

Director Christopher Wray has done nothing to cut the cancer out and rebuild the public’s trust in the FBI.

HOWIE CARR ON MIKE FLYNN: FBI railroading Americans, but we knew that here in Boston.

Via Instapundit:

Who would have ever believed that James Comey and Andrew McCabe might be arrested before Donald J. Trump?

As the president said Thursday of this greatest scandal in American political history: “I wish I knew then what I know now.”

Every day, in every way, this catastrophe of corruption by the FBI’s “human scum,” as the president so rightly describes them, metastasizes into something ever more appalling.

Did these effete, crooked cops ever stop railroading their fellow American citizens and obstructing justice?

And yet the Democrats and the media, but I repeat myself, just keep saying, nothing to see here folks, move along.

They’ve gone from covering the news to covering up the news.

According to one account Thursday, the “news” networks spent 2,284 minutes over the years promoting the Russian collusion hoax from start to finish.

But here’s the amount of airtime they’ve devoted to these latest revelations about the FBI’s pervasive top-to-bottom corruption in promoting the hoax:

CNN, ABC and CBS: a combined zero mentions. MSNBC: one mention, at 5:14 a.m., NBC: one mention, at 3:41 a.m.

The New York Times, which handed itself a Pulitzer Prize for years of “reporting” Russian collusion that didn’t exist, now argues that President Trump wants prosecutions of the crooked FBI agents so he can “weaponize” their criminal behavior for the campaign.

So it was totally OK for the feds to try to frame Trump and everyone around him, but to want someone brought to justice for it is just politics — weaponizing and seizing and pouncing on those wonderful Democrats in the FBI and the CIA?

Thursday, the Associated Press was still couching these latest revelations about the FBI’s frame-ups as something that Michael Flynn was “claiming” and “contending.”

One of the pro-Deep State blogs “claimed” and “contended” that the newly-revealed handwritten notes about Flynn were no big deal, because the briefers at the J. Edgar Hoover Building often brainstorm on how to best destroy anyone who gets in their way.

Which everyone in Boston, at least, has known for decades. But isn’t that the problem, that this has been going on forever?

Random Thoughts on Railroading General Flynn

Reminding everyone that General Flynn’s first law firm – Covington & Burling – charged him over $3.5 million dollars.  If the idea was to get Flynn fired, bankrupt him and send him to prison while urging him to plead guilty, it almost worked.   To thicken the plot, one of Covington’s partners is the disgraced Eric Holder – Barack Obama’s “wing man.”

Holder must have been chuckling seeing his firm getting rich while forcing Flynn to sell his home to pay them while they served him up to corrupt Federal Goons on a platter.

Those goons included not just Strzok, Comey, McCabe and the rest of the top FBI honchos but the evil Mueller team who kept the exculpatory evidence from Flynn as they threatened his son to get him to "confess" to a crime he didn't commit.

Flynn "confessed" after being financially destroyed, having his son threatened with jail and told by his team of lawyers - who had a severe conflict of interest - that it was the best way to have the government's attack stop.

Can you say coerced confession?
I knew you could.

Now he's got a new lawyer who's busy  exposing the crooks who conspired against him and he's withdrawing his plea.

Now the shoe is on the other foot and soon the goons who were responsible for this are going to plea bargain for the lowest jail time.

More breaking news.  The FBI closed the case on Flynn after a thorough investigation until fired FBI agent Peter Strzok told them to hold off while he edited and rewrote the FBI report on the interview that Strzok and Pietrzak had with Flynn.  Insurance policy.

Fix the Flynn Frame-Up in the Courts

Mark Steyn:

I heard Kellyanne Conway being asked this morning about whether Trump should now pardon Flynn. No. It is for the court, as an act of judicial hygiene, to accept Flynn's withdrawal of his enforced guilty plea (made under threats by the feds to destroy the lives of various family members, too), quash the conviction as a miscarriage of justice, and invite the defense to lay before His Honor a wrongful prosecution suit.

If it requires a presidential pardon to bring garbage like this to an end, then we are all in trouble. Because if the Deep Staters can do it to Flynn, they can do it to anyone. It behooves Judge Emmett Sullivan to rule upon what has been a fraud upon the court from day one - and a fraud upon his court specifically: the documents made public this week were ordered to be handed over to Flynn's lawyers two years ago (February 2018) but were in fact only coughed up now because Jeff Jensen, a federal prosecutor in St Louis appointed by Attorney-General Bill Barr to look into the DoJ's conduct of the Flynn case, recently stumbled across them. A system in which prosecutorial misconduct requires a presidential pardon to undo it is not merely absurd but wicked: justice requires that Judge Sullivan extinguish the state's assault upon his own courthouse.

Oh, but the Comey-Mueller crowd will protest, Flynn confessed to the crime!

Well, sorta: He was prevailed upon to (in the sleazy euphemism) "settle". I hate settling - because, in the civil courts, it incentivizes the use of litigation as a form of blackmail; and, in the criminal courts, it leads to what happened in the Flynn case: a man confessing to a crime he does not honestly believe he has committed.

So why did he do it? Well, his then lawyers told him to. Why would they do that? Because the dirty rotten stinking corrupt federal justice system wins 99 per cent of its cases, 97 per cent without going to court. Kim Jong-Un's Attorney-General (assuming he has or needs one) can only marvel. A culture of judicial "settling" is by definition corrupt. ...

"Settling" is a very unsettling concept in the criminal context - in part because it destroys equality before the law: Someone who's got twenty bucks in his savings account can be forced to "settle" long before someone with twenty mil. In the case of this particular investigation, there was certainly foreign collusion in the 2016 election: Mrs Clinton colluded with an MI6 spook who colluded with his contacts in the Kremlin. But Hillary doesn't have to "settle" because she's never had anything to fear from the Strzoks and Comeys. For those less able to withstand the onslaught, the preponderance of American media see no injustice in the Flynn fit-up. For example, former federal prosecutor and CNN "legal analyst" Renato Mariotti:

This isn't unusual at all.

Michael Flynn was treated like thousands of other subjects who were interviewed by FBI agents.

If you don't like how Flynn was treated, change the rules for everyone. Because this is how it works.
...

Misremembering to the FBI should not be a crime - especially not on the basis of a politically motivated policeman's supposedly contemporaneous "notes", rather than an audio or video recording. Instead of a presidential pardon, why not repeal this vile pseudo-crime that mocks due process? I take it that, the GOP having lost the House, Congress will not enact a new Strzok Act, restoring the citizen's right to misremember to a corrupt police agency's goons, but why cannot Bill Barr suspend this "crime" pending an investigation into its misuse by prosecutors over recent years?

... There's a popular American vernacular expression to the effect that, if you're not on offense, you're on defense. After three years of seeing innocent persons traduced and ruined by a corrupt bureaucracy working to subvert the results of free and fair elections, is it too much to expect the enervated Republican Party and its flabby cheerleaders in Conservative Inc actually to rouse themselves and try a little offense?

Persecuting Flynn

Mark Steyn:

The latest revelations in the Deep State entrapment of Michael Flynn (Trump's first National Security Advisor, for about twenty minutes) confirm what most sentient creatures have known for three years - that there was never any good-faith basis for the FBI's investigation, only (in the now released words of Assistant Counterintelligence Division Director Bill Priestap) the object "to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired".

The official pretext was that there might have been "a violation of the Logan Act". Oooooooh! The Logan Act of 1799 refers to a Dr George Logan, physician, farmer and Pennsylvania state legislator, who, at a time of tension in Franco-American relations, engaged in his own negotiations with the government in Paris. In the two and a quarter centuries since, there have been no convictions under the Act, and, in the event anyone were ever to be the first so convicted, it would undoubtedly be struck down as unconstitutional. John Kerry, one notes, has not been prosecuted for his recent meetings with his pal Zarif, "foreign minister" of Iran, about how to save Obama's deal with the mullahs.

In the case of Flynn, any hypothetical Logan prosecution would have been more ridiculous still - because he was not a freelance Pennsylvania doctor but the duly designated National Security Advisor of the incoming president. Peter Strzok went over to Flynn's office to (as they say of bent British coppers) fit him up - and indeed they did fit him up.

So one conversation, with disgraced corrupt rogue agent Strzok, without counsel present and without the defendant being aware that this was an interrogation of him as opposed to just a friendly intragovernmental chit-chat, has consumed three years of Flynn's life and all his savings.

Concealing FBI malfeasance

FBI Knew Russian Intelligence Was Monitoring and Probably Influencing Christopher Steele's Dossier and Still Used It

Thursday, April 02, 2020

THE FBI CAN'T BE TRUSTED; AND IT'S NOT GETTING FIXED.

An inspector general report finds that the bureau has been systematically unscrupulous.

For years, we civil libertarians were told that our concerns about the secret court that oversees the FBI’s applications to monitor U.S. citizens were overblown. So what if the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court approved more than 99% of all applications. The bureau and Justice Department must follow an onerous process, we were assured, that protects innocent citizens from being snooped on by their government.

Those assurances, as it turns out, were not very reliable. On Tuesday, the Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz issued a new report that found systematic errors of fact in the FBI’s applications for warrants under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. The memo does not speak to the materiality or significance of those errors — but they are startling nonetheless.

Out of 42 applications, the report says, 39 included major defects. All told, the inspector general uncovered 390 deficiencies, including “unverified, inaccurate, or inadequately supported facts, as well as typographical errors.”

High time we started to question if those great FBI agents - the guys out on the street who were supposed to be "clean" were just as corrupt as the higher ups.

IS THE FBI A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION? DISCUSS.

Horowitz’s office said in a report released Tuesday that of the 29 applications — all of which involved U.S. citizens – that were pulled from “8 FBI field offices of varying sizes,” the FBI could not find Woods Files for four of the applications, while the other 25 all had “apparent errors or inadequately supported facts.”

“While our review of these issues and follow-up with case agents is still ongoing—and we have not made materiality judgments for these or other errors or concerns we identified—at this time we have identified an average of about 20 issues per application reviewed, with a high of approximately 65 issues in one application and less than 5 issues in another application,” the report reveals.

The Woods Procedure dictates that the Justice Department verify the accuracy and provide evidentiary support for all facts stated in its FISA application. The FBI is required to share with the FISA Court all relevant information compiled in the Woods File when applying for a surveillance warrant.

“FBI and NSD officials we interviewed indicated to us that there were no efforts by the FBI to use existing FBI and NSD oversight mechanisms to perform comprehensive, strategic assessments of the efficacy of the Woods Procedures or FISA accuracy, to include identifying the need for enhancements to training and improvements in the process, or increased accountability measures,” the report states.

THE FBI IS OPERATING OUTSIDE THE LAW AND HAS BEEN FOR YEARS. SORT OF LIKE A TAXPAYER FUNDED MAFIA.

Going, Going. Gone

The credibility of the mainstream press establishment is shimmering into nothingness, like the last bit of winter snow after a week of warm spring days; just as our respect and trust for such federal bureaucracies and establishments like the FBI are similarly evaporating. While acknowledging and accepting that such establishments are operated by mere mortals, with all the weaknesses and moral failings that ordinary human beings are heir to, and grudgingly accepting the understanding that the establishment news media trends strongly to the left in political sympathies … look, we can accept all that and a certain degree of human bias, but what’s getting hard to swallow of late is the sheer, mind-numbing, flaming incompetence of them all. Which might be a blessing, for terrifying competence on the part of our current Ruling Class and their minions would make protesting or opposing them that much more difficult. Instead, as Kirk so memorably put it last week,

“What we have is, instead, an aristocracy of dunces, men and women who tell the rest of us how smart they are, and then screw up the entirety of civilization based on fantasies they’ve come up with. The rest of us need to start recognizing that the emperor not only isn’t wearing any clothes, he’s drunk off his ass and waving his wing-wang in our faces. The people who’ve flim-flammed their way into power are all dangerously inept and terminally deluded. If you doubt me, open your eyes and look around yourself: Is there anything, anything at all that these soi-disant “elites” have gotten right in the last century? Anything at all?”

I have to admit that I supported the Republican part of this "establishment" in part because the Democrats were undoubtedly worse.  In part I allowed myself to be deluded (McCain, Romney). But the Never-Trump part of the Right has self-identified as deranged poltroons.  The curtain has been ripped in two and the fakery, the genuine incompetence and venality has been exposed.   And it was due to one man who the establishment could not destroy or dominate.  God really does work in mysterious ways with imperfect tools.  Thanks be to God.

Leader Of 'The Base' Militant Group Revealed As Intelligence Contractor, Suspected Federal Agent

Is this how the FBI catches "White Supremacists Nazis?" By creating these groups and having their agents join?

Readers will no doubt be shocked to learn the leader of the "white supremacist neo-Nazi terrorist group" the Base is an intelligence contractor and appears to be a federal agent.

In truth, it'd probably be more shocking to learn he wasn't a fed.

As the KKK was dwindling, it was revealed that more than a few members were FBI agents.
