Should Journalists Go to Jail for Spreading Russia Lies?

This is a subset of the question: should journalists be jailed for telling lies.

Worth considering.

But then, the jails would fill up and other criminals would have no place to go.

In the end, Corn and Isikoff have shown themselves to be nothing short of propagandists who actually did collude with Russia, doing Putin’s work for him by sowing suspicion across the country and dividing Americans. But they are far from alone in their perfidy. Many of the major media organizations and their reporters lied about Russia collusion on a regular basis, even, in the cases of the New York Times and the Washington Post, winning Pulitzers for their deceptions.

China's Incestuous Relationship with the WHO Might Be Worse Than We Originally Thought

It looks like the head of the Chinese Communist Party got the World Health Organization to delay telling the  world about the Wuhan flu for up to 6 weeks, during which the virus was allowed ot spread throughout the world.

President Xi Jinping personally asked Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus to delay publishing vital information about the Wuhan coronavirus, the Daily Caller reported. Specifically, Xi wanted the WHO to not tell the world that the coronavirus was transmitted from person-to-person, the BND, German's Federal Intelligence Service, concluded.

“The BND’s verdict is harsh: At least four, if not six, weeks have been lost in Beijing’s information policy in the fight against the virus,” German magazine Der Spiegel reported.

THIS should have been the focus. Instead, one Governor actually made it much worse.

The same patterns as New York where, it is reported, Andrew Cuomo actually ordered nursing homes to accept people who were infected.  And gave the homes body bags at the same time as sending in the infected patients.

What Neil Ferguson’s booty call tells us about modern politics

For Ferguson’s booty call with his married lover actually reveals a great deal about the 21st-century elites and how they view their relationship with the masses. It’s one rule for them and another for us. They can carry on enjoying sneaky freedoms because their lives and jobs are important; we can’t because we are mere little people, whose silly work lives can casually be disrupted, whose love lives can be turned upside down, and whose families can be ripped apart. The Ferguson affair provides an illuminating insight into the new elitism....

And yet it seems the lockdown didn’t apply to him and his lover. No, just to us, the plebs, the irritants sitting on park benches or going for more than one jog a day, us potential virus-spreaders who so annoy the pro-lockdown media by committing such crimes as shopping twice a week or sitting on a near-empty beach. We must be locked down, but not them; not the clever people; not the people who work at prestigious institutions like Imperial and know how to make disease models.

What's worse, his models were crap.

According to the models, unlocked-down Sweden should have had 40,000 deaths by now – in fact it has had around 2,850. This is a catastrophic level of error. That seemingly unreliable or worst-case models have been used to wreck economies and institutionalise an authoritarian era so grave that one cannot leave one’s own house without good reason is a matter of the utmost public interest. ....

In 2005 he said up to 200million people could die from bird flu – the final global death toll between the years 2003 and 2009 was 292.

In 2009, the UK government based its ‘reasonable worst-case scenario’ for the impact of swine flu in Britain on Ferguson’s models, saying around 65,000 people could die. In the end just 457 people died.

In 2001 Imperial modelling on foot-and-mouth disease shaped government policy, which was to cull six million sheep, cattle and pigs. Later, an expert in veterinary epidemiology said that modelling was ‘seriously flawed’.

In case you're wondering why you are locked up and shops are closed, it's not the actual number of people who have contacted the virus, it's the models that predicted millions of deaths. The models that Neil Ferguson and other "modelers" sold to America and most of Europe. Modelers that haven't been right yet but give state governors the power to put you in jail for cutting people's hair.

Obama, Biden Oval Office Meeting On January 5 Was Key To Entire Anti-Trump Operation

Mollie Hemingway provides a succinct, easy to follow timeline of the plot hatched by Obama to overthrow the US Government.

Read the whole thing.

Information released in the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss the case it brought against Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn confirms the significance of a January 5, 2017, meeting at the Obama White House. It was at this meeting that Obama gave guidance to key officials who would be tasked with protecting his administration’s utilization of secretly funded Clinton campaign research, which alleged Trump was involved in a treasonous plot to collude with Russia, from being discovered or stopped by the incoming administration....

A clearer picture is emerging of the drastic steps that were taken to accomplish Obama’s goal in the following weeks and months. Shortly thereafter, high-level operatives began intensely leaking selective information supporting a supposed Russia-Trump conspiracy theory, the incoming National Security Advisor was ambushed, and the incoming Attorney General was forced to recuse himself from oversight of investigations of President Trump. At each major point in the operation, explosive media leaks were a key strategy in the operation to take down Trump....

An analysis of the timeline from early 2017 shows a clear pattern of behavior from the federal officials running the collusion operation against the Trump campaign. It also shows how essential media leaks were to their strategy to sideline key law enforcement and intelligence officials and cripple the ability of the incoming Trump administration to run the country....

This stunning operation was not just a typical battle between political foes, nor merely an example of media bias against political enemies. Instead, this entire operation was a deliberate and direct attack on the foundation of American governance. In light of the newly declassified documents released in recent days, it is clear that understanding what happened in that January 5 Oval Office meeting is essential to understanding the full scope and breadth of the corrupt operation against the Trump administration. It is long past time for lawmakers in Congress who are actually interested in oversight of the federal government and the media to demand answers about what really happened in that meeting from every single participant, including Obama and Biden.

The entire operation required that the media act as accomplices to the coup plotters.

U.S. Field Hospitals Stand Down, Most Without Treating Any COVID-19 Patients

What more proof do you need that President Donald J. Trump saved millions of lives?

As hospitals were overrun by coronavirus patients in other parts of the world, the Army Corps of Engineers mobilized in the U.S., hiring private contractors to build emergency field hospitals around the country.

The endeavor cost more than $660 million, according to an NPR analysis of federal spending records.

But nearly four months into the pandemic, most of these facilities haven't treated a single patient.

Pelosi Redefines Hypocrisy and Destroys #MeToo for … Biden?

It's not hypocrisy: it's a lie.

In 1665, François Duc de la Rochefoucauld famously opined, “Hypocrisy is a tribute that vice pays to virtue.”

That definition may have been witty at the time, but seems a bit feeble in our era, when Nancy Pelosi states she absolutely believes Joe Biden didn’t sexually assault Tara Reade and she will not “answer this question again.”

As we know, that contrasts with the Pelosi who until recently was repeatedly reciting the “believe all women” mantra, as was Biden himself.

But this doesn’t make Pelosi an actual hypocrite as described by Rochefoucauld or anybody else. It makes her a bloody liar (twice over).

In the first place, no matter what she said, she didn’t “believe all women” any more than she or anyone would believe all men. (Neither did Biden, we can hope.) Only an imbecile would—and Pelosi is no imbecile. She is an unremitting power-driven political operative and a successful one, quite willing to lie at a moment’s notice to achieve her goals.

And that’s what she did. Saying she believes all women was a totally expedient lie at the time, not mere hypocrisy, which is too weak.

Lie No. 2 is, despite what she says, she doesn’t have any idea whether Biden is guilty of sexually assaulting Tara Reade, irrespective of how long she has known him. (Would she have expected that Ted Kennedy would have left a woman drowning in a car?) As any reader of Dostoevsky or Henry James can tell you, human behavior is far too various to be easily predictable.

.Adam Schiff may be the biggest loser of Russia probe declassification

Schiff Report Claim: “FBI and DOJ officials did not abuse the FISA process, omit material information, or subvert this vital tool to spy on the Trump campaign. … DOJ met the rigor, transparency, and evidentiary basis needed to meet FISA’s probable cause requirement.”

Declassified Facts: Horowitz told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Dec. 11, 2019, “I do not think the Department of Justice fairly treated these FISAs.” His report went even further in describing how the FBI violated its own rules in submitting four FISA applications with a total of 51 pieces of unverified, inaccurate or false information. “FBI personnel fell far short of the requirement in FBI policy that they ensure that all factual statements in a FISA application are ‘scrupulously accurate,’” he wrote. “We identified multiple instances in which factual assertions relied upon in the first FISA application were inaccurate, incomplete, or unsupported by appropriate documentation.” The FISAs were so flawed in fact that DOJ has formally withdrawn two of the applications from the court in their entirety because they were incontrovertibly inaccurate.

Schiff Report Claim: DOJ and FBI officials “made only narrow use of information from Steele’s sources about Page’s specific activities in 2016.”

Declassified Facts: Horowitz directly contradicted this claim, concluding the dossier “played a central and essential role” in the FISA application. “The FISA request form drew almost entirely from Steele’s reporting in describing the factual basis to establish probable cause to believe that Page was an agent of a foreign power,” the IG wrote.

Schiff Report Claim: “DOJ provided additional information obtained through multiple independent sources that corroborated Steele’s reporting.”

Declassified Facts: “We found that the FBI did not have information corroborating the specific allegations against Carter Page in Steele’s reporting when it relied upon his reports in the first FISA application or subsequent renewal applications,” Horowitz reported in December....

‘I Want a Coronation; Politico Co-Founder Offers INSANE Biden Defense on Reade Claims

When the press reveals the naked truth about itself.
In Tuesday’s print edition of The New York Times, admitted Marxist, former Times editor, Politico co-founder, and The Hill co-founder Martin Tolchin penned a letter to the editor demanding that not only should journalists cease all attempts to report on Tara Reade’s allegations against Joe Biden, but all investigations should end so as to ensure Biden defeats President Trump in November.

Is he so sure about being able to steal the election that he's actually willing to go "Open Kimono" with this opinion in a newspaper?   Things that make you go Hmmm.

Who Invited The World To Infect America?

We have the worst ruling class in the world.  There is a lot of truth in this article.  The US had a policy of outsourcing production to low-labor-cost countries and China with its huge population offered it's services after Japan turned into a high-labor-cost country.

The result was a series of individual decisions by American corporations which started as a trickle and became a torrent as corporate CEOs competed with each other to lower labor cost by moving production to China.  And the American government fully participated with free-trade zones and a tariff policy the practically invited the hollowing-out of american manufacturing and assembly.

And everyone participated: government on Left and Right, large corporations, distributors like Amazon, even labor unions which drive American wages higher making Chinese labor more and more attractive.

Hate the Chinese government if you wish, but hold your own government responsible for hollowing America out like a husk....China didn’t force the traitors of the American economy to shift crucial production lines to its country and strand Americans without surgical and N-95 masks and medication; homegrown turncoats made that decision, all by their lonesome....

The sphinxly Bill Gates, we are told, foresaw the pandemic. Gates also pioneered the outsourcing of American lives to China (and India). I say “lives,” because, as it has become abundantly clear, in the wake of COVID, the very stuff of life has been outsourced to China. Not mere jobs; but careers, not just some products, but entire production lines; not one or two manufacturing plants, but the entire means of production.

General Flynn was Railroaded

Written by James A. Gagliano (@JamesAGagliano) worked in the FBI for 25 years. He is a law enforcement analyst for CNN and an adjunct assistant professor in homeland security and criminal justice at St. John's University. Gagliano is a member of the board of directors of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund.

The final nail in the coffin of those who pretend political bias did not influence the FBI’s decisions in 2016 and 2017 is a text exchange between Strzok and Page on Feb. 25, 2016, discussing how to approach the Clinton interview:

Page: “One more thing: She might be our next president. The last thing you need us going in there loaded for bear. You think she’s going to remember or care that it was more DOJ than FBI?”

Strzok: “I called Bill and relayed what we discussed. He agrees.”

Compare that to Priestap's quote: “What’s our goal? Truth/Admission or get him to lie, so we can get him fired?”

The contrast is stunning. No plausible explanation exists here other than rank partisan, political bias.

I’ll say it again: Michael Flynn got railroaded.

Oh, the Places You Can’t Go!

A message to the Class of 2020

Congratulations!

Today is your day.

You can’t go many places,

But you will… someday.

You have soap on your hands,

And a mask on your face.

But you have been banned

From almost every place.

Now you are grown. And you know what you know,

But others decide where it is you can go.

You can’t go to restaurants,

Or shops—they’re all closed.

And don’t try the bars,

Inside the Early Days of China’s Coronavirus Coverup

After the obligatory slam at Trump, this article is very revealing.

NOTE: in the US, the Chinese Communist party (CCP)has been aided by the MSM.  The reason is simple: most of the MSM outlets are owned by entertainment companies like Disney who derive a large part of the profits from China.  They hate Trump and have no problems broadcasting CCP propaganda.

NOTE 2: If the Democrats win this November you can fully expect that your children and grandchildren will be run by the CCP.

LATE ON THE night of February 2, as her insomnia kicked in, a Beijing woman whom I’ll call Yue took out her phone and religiously clicked open WeChat and Weibo. Over the past two fitful weeks, the two Chinese social media platforms had offered practically her only windows into the “purgatory,” as she called it, of Wuhan.

At this point, according to official estimates, the novel coronavirus had infected just over 14,000 people in the world—and nearly all of them were in the central Chinese city where Yue had attended university and lived for four years. A number of her friends there had already caught the mysterious virus.
