No more than a year ago, the suggestion that gay marriage would be the first step to other unions was dismissed as the ranting of hysterical troglodytes. I have argued that if the right to marry is based on the fact that two people love each other, there is virtually no end of the possible permutations that we would have to allow, not just incest. What, for example is “just” about the number two? And why should we be so close minded as to limit the right to people?
Well, here we are a year later and the first trio has “married” in Belgium. Can we allow them to get ahead of us this way?
And thanks to The Corner, we find out about the woman who married herself.
