At first view this cartoon rocks your sensibilities a bit, but then so is the shredding of the Constitution by a President, and a majority of Representatives and Senators who take an oath to uphold that same constitution. The whole idea of a representative republic only works as long as a majority of elected officials abide by the laws of the land. When that no longer is the case, all bets are off as the ship of state is set adrift.
