The Press, The UN and Terror

Until now, the "Mainstream" Press has be remarkably shy about the UN's Oil-for-Food scam that appears to have diverted literally billions of dollars into bribes to foreign and UN officials. Demonstrating the reticence of Victorian virgins, there has hardly been a whisper in the "official" press about this, with the lone exception of the Wall Street Journal and - of course - the bloggers on the Internet.

Apologists for the press will claim that since there are no graphic pictures, a la Abu Ghraib, the TV networks and the Lords of the Print Press may believe it does not have the grab appeal of pictures of West Virginia sluts holding a naked man on a leash wearing Victoria Secret's latest creation.

Well, how about a video of Arab terrorists making their entrance and exit from the murder of six Israelis in UN Ambulances? It has it all: violence, clear pictures, and wrongdoing. But wait ... it does not fit the media template. Just keep repeating: the UN are the Good Guys, the UN are the Good Guys, the UN sanctifies all things.
