Hussein’s answer to the energy crisis is to check our tires. Sarah Palin’s answer to our energy is to build a $40 billion dollar natural gas pipeline to bring gas from Prudhoe Bay to the rest of the country; a plan that had been stalled for over 30 years.
The pipeline is not just Sarah Palin’s doing, but she was able to take advantage of timing and inked a deal that that ended the bickering and got the project off the ground. She was able to do what none of her predecessors did, and which the Federal government was unable to do. She is responsible for one day bringing between 35 trillion to as much as 265 trillion cubic feet of natural gas to American consumers.
A community organizer couldn't do this, but Governor Palin did.
British Petroleum doesn't like the deal. A blogger says that like it's a bad thing.
It seems that here is a populist streak in Sarah Palin. Given the corruption that big oil has brought to Alaska, that may be very natural for this middle class gal.
By the way, the drive-by media and the Hussein campaign have branded her as an intellectual lightweight; someone who has no knowledge of the issues.
Who would you rather have resolving the energy issues facing America? Tire Gauge Guy or Governor Gas Pipeline?
