Isn't it amazing how "patriots" choose their causes. The Boston Tea Party has nothing to do with the current state of affairs in this nation. If these so-called patriots truly want to protest the policies of the Obama Administration, they should drive big, gas-guzzling automobiles and deny basic health care and a decent standard of living to the working poor. Oh wait. They're already doing that.
It would also pay to keep in mind that the Boston Tea Party was an act of sedition and terrorism in which the participants were so cowardly that they dressed as a minority group in order to shift the blame.
Gee Martin, you have enjoyed the benefits of being American while holding in contempt the history of this country. Seems pretty hypocritical to me. If you hate this country and its history so much - move. Instead of complaining either move or get involved in the process.
The Boston Tea Party was citizens rising against unfair taxation. You would be here had those events not unfolded, nor would you enjoy the freedoms you currently have.
