The Republican Revolt

The analysis of this election focused almost exclusively on the demographic groups that voted for Trump and were once solidly in the Democratic camp. The chattering classes are mainly on the Left and are busy examining what went wrong. Much less attention is paid to the political realignment on the "Trump side" than the Republican side. The election was about the country's direction and Trump's promises rather than Republican vs. Democrat.

I believe Republicans are deluding themselves if they think that the increased vote for Trump by blacks, Latinos, and even women meant that these groups were voting for Republicans. This is a grave error on their part.
I believe what is even more important than the votes Trump got from traditional Democrats is the fact that Republicans have become "Woke." I mean, woke in terms of waking up to the fact that Republicans were victimized by their party every bit as much as Democrats victimized their voters.
Democrats victimized their Black core by providing them subsistence income and housing them in crime-ridden inner city ghettos.
Republicans lied to their middle-class voting base by promising them more freedom and frugal government without having the slightest intention of delivering.
Trump's resurgence was amazing. Despite a good governor - Ron DeSantis - as his primary opponent, he was an unstoppable force in the primary election. There was a reason for that. What is happening Is that traditional Republican voters are busy abandoning the Republican Party and forming a new coalition built around the idea that in a representative republic, the governing class should put their countrymen first. Traditional Republican voters are realizing that the conventional Republican candidates lie to their voting base, having no interest in actually implementing the promises that they make.
A great example of this is Mitt Romney, who represents a pole of the old Republican Party that hates Trump and the ideas he stands for. When Romney and Ryan ran they said everything the base expected to hear. They lied to the Republican voters. I was one of them. And it took Trump's 2016 election to open my eyes to the fact that the Republicans colluded with the Democrats to sabotage what was nominally a Republican administration. That was also when the "thought leaders" of the Conservative camp - like the National Review gang - showed they were for sale to the highest bidder and never believed anything they had been selling.
Today, a lot of those voters see the Republican establishment for what they are. Just as the Democrat ruling class lies to their black and Latino base for their votes and doesn't give a damn about what happens to them once they get into office. Republicans have realized that the people they voted for who held themselves out to be on their side didn't give a damn about them. They would say anything to get their base to vote, but once they got to Washington, they joined the Uniparty, got rich, and raided the Treasury.
Once Trump assumes office, it will become evident that he must defeat not only the Left but also the remnants of the Republican RINOS. The Republicans—GOP—are going the way of the Whigs. The new coalition will be built around MAGA. That's a good name for a political party.

The Trump-Media Debate

What does “winning the debate” mean?

In 1960, the first televised debate was between Kennedy and Nixon. If you ask people who watched the Kennedy-Nixon debate on TV, Kennedy won. People who listened to it declared Nixon the winner. In the end, Kennedy won the election. Did the debate make a difference? Perhaps.
It’s 2024, and we’re talking about the Trump-Harris debate. Thanks to the moderators, Harris performed better. However, a poll of 10 uncommitted voters went heavily for Trump.
The Sept. 10 ABC News presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris was the most-watched network debate in 16 years with an average of more than 67 million TV viewers, according to the outlet
The number does not include streaming and is a combination of those who tuned into ABC, CNN, Fox News, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and Fox. It does not include those who watched it on Newsmax, PBS, NewsNation, Scripps News, BET, Univision, Headline News, Telemundo, and Fox Business.
An average of 26.4 million people watched the debate on linear and streaming platforms.
What did people see? It depends. Deep Blue Democrats like abortion, glittering generalities, platitudes, and promises. They hate Trump and threaten to move to Canada. Aided by the moderators, she confirmed their allegiance.
For the undecided voters – whoever they may be – she ducked issues they cared about and offered no solutions to their problems. Her answers were the word salad that she’s famous for.
Trump supporters - MAGA enthusiasts - got the Trump they wanted, although they wished he would have hit Harris harder.
However, the entire audience - the big networks and streaming media- saw corporate media bias without the mask. ABC moderators were delivering rabbit punches and shots below the belt in the ring. They lied when they said Trump lied and never once called Harris on her lies. This was a debate between Trump and the Corporate Media, and Harris was the color commentator.
The information universe is changing rapidly. A large and growing part of the audience gets their information from internet sources, which means that the problems of people in Springfield, Ohio, are being told even though the Corporate press spikes these stories.
The truth is that Haitian immigrants practice voodoo and have imported their culture into the middle of America. People know it in part because Elon Musk allows “X” to be a platform for citizen journalists where information and truth are not throttled by curators at the networks and the major newspapers.
I believe that we’ve reached a tipping point. A tidal wave of information and truth is washing away the carefully constructed Potemkin Villages that the media has erected. In a way, ABC stepped on a landmine and blew itself up. The rest of the Corporate Media are collateral damage.
Harris didn’t win; the Democrats and their allies in the Corporate Media lost. Trump will win in a landslide, and ABC helped make that happen.

Don Surber has great questions for Donald Trump

The fourth RINO debate in this presidential cycle was another waste of time without The Donald. He is the only one who matters because the nation has to see if he is worthy of a second presidency.

Of the three questioners last night, only Megyn Kelly mattered because the nation knows who she is. I almost watched the shit show to see if she still can hack it as a journalist but the four candidates who did show up are minor leaguers. I wish she and Trump had another go at it because I want to know what have each has learned in the last eight years since their first debate encounter of the Fox kind....

Megyn Kelly interviewing Trump would help both by raising her profile. He could use some tough questions about his first term, beginning with his personnel decisions.

Here is what she could ask.

First question: Your first Cabinet by and large failed you. Outside of Ric Grenell, Wilbur Ross and Betsy DeVos, secretary of education, you had a Cabinet of Frenemies because a Republican Senate vetoed the people you wanted. How will you avoid hiring losers again?

Republican Pledge: No More Talking About Trump

The media are so desperate for Republicans to nominate Donald Trump that they've turned over 96.7% of their programming to covering him, with brief interruptions for Emmett Till updates. Like dogs playing a game of fetch for eternity, they never tire of rehashing Trump's legal troubles, his behavior on Jan. 6 (which has now been more investigated than the Kennedy assassination), his payment to a stripper, his call to election officials in Georgia and on and on and on.

It has become clear that the media also plan to make the GOP presidential primaries entirely about Trump. Every Republican running for president is required to spend half of any interview answering questions about the former president. Even when they're not saying anything at all about him, somehow the media make it about Trump.

Ron DeSantis gives a speech in South Carolina not mentioning Trump.

Headline: "Ron DeSantis says little about Trump indictment; decries unequal justice and 'weaponization'" -- USA Today

Mike Pence announces he's running for president.

Headline: "Pence Delivers Strong Rebuke to Trump in Campaign Announcement" -- New York Times

Nikki Haley attacks Trump.

Headline: "Nikki Haley accused of 'MAGA agenda' after supporting abortion restrictions in town hall" -- The Guardian

Candidates who aren't talking about Trump are attacked for "enabling" him. MSNBC's totally objective, nonpartisan anchor (and former Biden press secretary) Jen Psaki denounced Republicans on Monday, complaining that, unless they're constantly berating him, "they are effectively enabling a guy who led an attempted coup. And for what? To maybe win a handful of delegates?"

Republicans, forget the pledge to support the party's nominee. It's pointless, irrelevant, stupid and openly defied, as it was in 2016 by Jeb! and John Kasich. The pledge we need candidates to take is this: We jointly refuse to answer any more questions about Trump. All of you, except Chris Christie.

Do you really think the media are trying to help you with this endless focus on Trump? They're putting Republicans in a no-win situation: Either the candidates are forced to take an utterly indefensible position by defending Trump, or they're required to write off the votes of all Trump supporters.

Democrats will never be asked to criticize any part of their coalition -- and they've got a much crazier base than Republicans do. Why are Republicans held responsible for every nut on the right, while Democrats are allowed to skate on the core beliefs of their base?

Here are some questions Democratic candidates ought to be asked but never will be.

-- Do white lives matter? Why did Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley have to apologize for saying "All lives matter" in 2016?

-- What percentage of white people do you believe are racist? Should teachers and college professors who indoctrinate students to believe that all whites are guilty of "systemic racism" keep their jobs?

-- Did Joe Biden really believe that "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett was nearly lynched by white guys shouting, "This is MAGA country!" in the most affluent part of Chicago during a polar vortex? Did Kamala Harris believe it? Nancy Pelosi? Cory Booker? They said they did. Do you think such psychotic paranoia is, as liberals like to say, "normal"?

-- If one unionized teacher could stay home while still being paid, but 10 children would die, which would you choose? The American Federation of Teachers, a major Democratic donor, relentlessly fought to keep schools closed throughout the pandemic. A Reuters study later found that the school closures led to a 43% rise in drug-related 911 calls for people aged 20 and younger.

-- Should the police be defunded? If not, will you denounce left-wing "philanthropist" George Soros? A major source of dark money for Democratic causes, this sinister figure gave $35 million to anti-police activists in 2021. Last year, as the murder rate continued to soar, he pledged to give more.

-- How about ICE? Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez campaigned on abolishing ICE. Other Democrats who support abolishing ICE include Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders and Kirsten Gillibrand. House Democrats have actually introduced legislation to abolish ICE.

-- What is a woman? Do you think Biden's Supreme Court pick, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, was lying when she claimed under oath not to know the answer to that question, or is she stupid?

-- Should men be allowed in girls' bathrooms, locker rooms and prisons? Should they compete in women's sports? Should children be allowed to poison and mutilate themselves under the belief that they can change genders? Are Republican governors who ban these practices guilty of "hate" -- as claimed by almost all Democrats? Do you agree with Biden that such measures are "ugly" attacks from "hysterical" and "prejudiced" people?

-- If blacks, Hispanics, whites and Asians are not disciplined, arrested and imprisoned at their exact proportions in the population, is that proof of racism?

-- Is it OK to be white? If so, will you call on liberal "hate watch" groups and college administrators across the nation to stop treating that phrase as "hate speech"?

-- Should Al Sharpton be required to pay income taxes? This Democratic kingmaker has been a guest of President Biden's at the White House at least twice, the Obama White House more than 72 times and has his ring kissed by any Democrat running for president.

The last time The New York Times investigated, about 10 years ago, Sharpton owed more than $4 million in income taxes.

While we're on the subject, he's also responsible for the Tawana Brawley hate hoax in 1987, and in the 1990s he helped gin up angry mobs in Crown Heights and at Freddy's Fashion Mart in Harlem, which resulted in nine deaths.

True, that was a long time ago. Do you think if DeSantis had met with David Duke a really long time ago, the media would say, "no biggie"?

Democrats have won three national elections in a row by making them all about Trump. Unless the GOP is intent on committing suicide, their No. 1 objective has got to be preventing this from happening again. Every Republican candidate for president (except Chris Christie) has got to take this pledge. I promise not to answer any more questions about Trump.

Angel Outside Trump’s Empty Safe Tells FBI Agents, 'Behold! The Document You Seek Is Not Here!'

MAR-A-LAGO, FL — New reports from Mar-a-Lago indicate that during Monday's raid, FBI agents searching the house ran quickly to see the safe only to find it empty with an angel of the Lord standing beside it. According to eyewitnesses, the FBI agents trembled and became as dead men.

"Do not be afraid!" began the glowing angel, gesturing to the open and empty vault. "I know that you seek the classified documents taken by Trump. But behold! The Documents you seek are not here!"

.

"Now, go!" the angel continued. "Tell your boss, Director Wray, that the documents are not here, just as Trump said."

Trump responded to the incident, saying: "Low-IQ FBI agents searched my house and didn't find anything! Pathetic witch hunt! And they talked to my angel. Well, one of my angels. I have so many angels. All the best angels."

The FBI reported the incident to the FBI Director and Attorney General, who paid the agents to keep silent on the matter and instead tell everyone that Trump's disciples came by night and stole the documents while everyone slept.

Acquitted

“A conviction would have also set the stage for a vote to bar him from serving in public office again.” The outcome leaves the populist forces in the field and the old GOP party in the dust.

Up next: the battle to define conservative politics as Biden faces a new world.

Donald Trump acquitted of incitement of insurrection in second Senate impeachment trial

The US Senate votes to acquit former president Donald Trump in his second impeachment trial, with less than two thirds of senators finding him guilty of incitement of insurrection.

Republicans senators Richard Burr of North Carolina, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Patrick Toomey of Pennsylvania all voted guilty.

The ancien regime needed a Blue Tsunami to effect a restoration. But they achieved a mild and perhaps doubtful electoral surf despite a maximum effort. The impeachment was a second chance at pursuit. Its failure means the populists will be back.

Trump and the Democratic leader’s age means a new cast of characters will be coming on for Season 2. The Blue failure to smash the populists means people are now refiguring the odds. Expect new political startups.

The reason why threats to go after Trump in court are pointless is because the Biden administration, like every incumbent, will soon be on the political defensive. New challenges are going to put Biden between the hard rock of the left and even more obdurate reality.

Trump Creates ‘Office of the Former President’ to Advance US Interests, Carry on Trump Admin Agenda

Former President Donald Trump opened an “Office of the Former President” on Monday that seeks to advance the interests of the United States and carry on the agenda of his administration.

A statement from the office in Palm Beach County, Florida, reads, “Today, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, formally opened the Office of the Former President.”

“The Office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump Administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism.

“President Trump will always and forever be a champion for the American People,” it said.

Trump nukes the bridge behind him

 Hahahahahahaha!!!

This is one hell of a going away “fuck you” from Trump.

Biden will be forced to walk this back and apologize to China for personal profit OR will have explain why he is doing business and favorable trade relations with a genocidal nation.

This is a huge monkey wrench Trump threw into the Biden Inc. grift machine on his way out.

Trump Gives Farewell Speech: ‘The Movement We Started Is Only Just Beginning’

President Donald Trump released his farewell speech on Tuesday afternoon, saying he will pray for the success of the forthcoming administration.

“We are—and must always be—a land of hope, of light, and of glory to all the world. This week we inaugurate a new administration and pray for its success in keeping America safe and prosperous,” Trump said. “We did what we came here to do—and so much more. Above all, we have reasserted the sacred idea that in America, the government answers to the people.”
