Gallup: Obama's Approval Hits All-Time Low Among Poor, Is Highest Among Rich

Thanks to James Taranto in the WSJ, we find that Barack Obama has an approval rating under 50%.  But his approval is higher among the wealthy than the poor.
President Barack Obama’s approval has hit an all-time low among the poorest Americans, according to the Gallup poll. Meanwhile, when compared to the other income brackets reported by Gallup, Obama's approval is highest among the richest Americans.
One can speculate on the reasons for this but the one that seems most logical to me is that the richest Americans are the ones least affected by Obama’s policies. They are least likely to be the ones thrown out of work as the result of factory layoffs. They are not three out of four poor young high school or college graduates who can’t find a job. They are less likely to be one paycheck away from poverty. They spend a smaller proportion of their income on gas and food so it has less of an impact on their living standard.

When you are well off, you can still flatter yourself that supporting Obama is your contribution to affirmative action. Thanks to Republicans your taxes did not go up.  Those who are the victims of his policies are falling out of love ... fast.
