"Smart Diplomacy:" Turning Allies Into Targets

Turkey has been an on-again-off-again ally of the US.  A member of NATO, it refused American troops passage through it's territory during the Iraq war. 

Obama's "smart diplomacy" has simultaneously turned Turkey into an enemy of Israel and an alliance of Syria, Russia and Iran. 

It's hard to screw up worse than that.
