A Tale of Two Cities: Kenosha vs. Waukesha
From Victor Davis Hanson
For some time, media demand has exceeded the available supply of clear-cut cases of white oppressors and black victims, at least if the Jussie Smollett hoax, the “hands up don’t shoot” lie, and the photoshopped pictures and edited tapes of George Zimmerman are any indication.
Yet the real reason the Left strained to gin up the theme of white-on-white violence as an example of racism was their larger agenda of sending a message to middle America: no American, in times of riot, arson, and looting, should have the right to use firearms to protect property. And under no circumstances could a citizen use a gun to ward off those intending to maim or kill him. Had Rittenhouse been found guilty, there no longer would be recourse for citizens living in cities where criminals were freely given the streets.
In other words, had such a clear-cut case of self-defense morphed into a successful murder conviction, then the most powerful figure in the nation would become the local district attorney. De facto, a DA could empower a mob to loot, burn, steal, and injure by refusing to indict those arrested—even if an increasingly politicized mayor and police chief chose to allow their officers to keep the public safe. We would then assume that in this state of nature anyone protecting property during a riot would be fair game for the mob, given the target would know he could become a convicted felon by defending himself from attack.
So, the Left understood well the messaging of attacking the open city and undefended town of Kenosha and the conviction of a “murderer” Rittenhouse: accept our political agendas and premises or otherwise your culpable community will be torn apart with impunity, and any who chose to combat the violence with violence will be charged with capital crimes.
Not long after one Rittenhouse was acquitted, one Darrell Brooks, Jr., an African-American with a 20-year record of serious felonies, allegedly drove his car deliberately into a Christmas parade in Waukesha, killing 6 innocents and injuring over 60.

NASCAR GETS ITS OWN JUSSIE SMOLLETT:
Cockburn was initially reticent to compare Wallace to Smollett. Wallace was not the one who initially found the ‘noose’, and was merely reacting to what his team told him. He did not manufacture the incident himself. But the fanfare that followed, despite an ongoing investigation that had yet to find evidence of a hate crime, wilted any sympathy. Drivers and team members pushed Wallace’s car to the front of the field ahead of Monday’s race at Talladega. The infield grass was painted with #IStandWithBubba. It was an outlandish show of ‘solidarity’ that only took place because just waiting for an investigation to conclude before commenting on an alleged hate crime would have earned NASCAR allegations of racism.
Then, even after the FBI concluded that the ‘noose’ was anything but, Wallace doubled down on his alleged victimhood. In a Tuesday night appearance with CNN’s Don Lemon, Wallace asserted, ‘From the evidence that we have…it’s a straight-up noose’. Never mind the 15 — yes, 15! — FBI special agents who investigated the incident. Wallace, despite never having seen the rope in person, believes it’s a noose, and therefore it’s a noose.
Wallace apparently got a taste of the fame that comes with being a professional victim and thought it was much sweeter than letting his racing do the talking. He finished 14th at Talladega.
Media Buys Into Debunked Noose Hate Crime Story
From the comments:
If the "fans" have any self respect, they will stop going to races or supporting the racist organization NASCAR. Did I mention that NASCAR and Wallace are stone cold racists who deserve to be shunned? Just want to make that clear.

2 out of 3 "hate crimes" are hoaxes
Mr. Reilly is a professor of political science at Kentucky State University, and his interest in hate crimes dates to his graduate-school days, when he became aware of several widely reported incidents in the vicinity of his hometown that turned out to be fake. In 2012 a popular gay bar in suburban Chicago was destroyed by fire, and the owner cited homophobia as the reason. The same year, black students at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside reported death threats from hate groups and found a noose hanging from a dorm room door. Ultimately, the owner of the bar pleaded guilty to arson and insurance fraud. And a black student at the university fessed up to sending racist threats and planting a noose....
Reilly eventually compiled a database of 346 hate-crime allegations and determined that less than a third were genuine. Turning his attention to the hoaxes, he put together a data set of more than 400 confirmed cases of fake allegations that were reported to authorities between 2010 and 2017. He allows that the exact number of false reports is probably unknowable, but what can be said “with absolute confidence is that the actual number of hate crime hoaxes is indisputably large,” he writes. “We are not speaking here of just a few bad apples.”

Jussie Smollett's hate crime
Ace of Spades
And it was a hate crime -- it was intended to incite hate against white people and Trump supporters.
But those lives don't matter, so we don't talk about that. We can only talk about the indirect, unintentional victims of Jussie Smollett's false flag hate crime -- hate crime victims who won't be believed in the future -- and not the directed intended victims of it.

Fake Noose
Headline of the week!
Manqué cineaste Simon Lynxx needs to raise money for his film, so he pays two black friends to mug elderly movie mogul Hermann Wolff, so Lynxx can rescue him and get cash out of gratitude. That’s from Take Five, a D. Keith Mano novel released in 1982, the year actor Jussie Smollett was born.Nearly four decades later, Smollett is an actor in the Fox series Empire, centered on hip-hop artist Lucious Lyon, CEO of Empire Entertainment. In real life, not on the show, Smollett sends a threatening letter to himself showing a noose, then pays two black friends to attack him in Chicago, which they proclaim is “MAGA country!”

Bearing False Witness: The Case of Jussie Smollett
Consider, for example, what Stephen Colbert did on The Late Show. Two days after Smollett claimed he was attacked, Colbert invited lesbian actress Ellen Page onto the CBS program to blame the Trump administration, and particularly Vice President Mike Pence, for “what happened the other day to Jussie.” After describing Pence’s conservative policies as having “hurt LGBTQ people so badly,” Page said: “Connect the dots. This is what happens if you are in a position of power and you hate people and you want to cause suffering to them — you go through the trouble, you spend your career trying to cause suffering, what do you think is going to happen?” This was either deliberate slander, or evidence of insuperable stupidity, but neither Colbert nor Page have acknowledged any error, because they don’t have to. Presumably, the advertisers and executives at CBS have no problem paying Colbert to falsely blame Republicans for a “hate crime” that turns out to be a hoax, and Page knows that every liberal in Hollywood will applaud her “courage” for insulting the vice president.....
If the incident which provoked all these denunciations proves to be a hoax, however, will any of these Democrats apologize? Will they suffer any actual consequences for being so disastrously wrong about what happened to Jussie Smollett? No, don’t be silly. Liberal journalists won’t ask Booker, Harris, Biden, or other Democrats to explain why they were so easily deceived. Indeed, the media are already trying to spin the story to rescue Democrats. CNN’s Brian Stelter claimed Saturday that the real problem is that “random websites” had “weaponized” the story, whatever that means. Stelter went on to say of the Smollett hoax that “the motive here is still a mystery at the heart of the story.” Except it’s not really mysterious: Smollett has repeatedly declared his hatred of President Trump, and what better way to damage the president than to frame Republicans for a fake hate crime? And liberal journalists were eager to act as Smollett’s accomplices, as Daily Wire’s Ashe Schow remarked Sunday: “This is absolutely about the media and their constant desire to prove Orange Man Bad no matter how implausible the story.”
TRUE
SMEARS HAVE BEEN THE LEFT'S TOP PLAY IN MY LIFETIME.
Five Takeaways From the Jussie Smollett Hoax
His story seemed so unrealistic and convenient I assumed it would be a day or two before it all blew up in his face. It simply never added up. Trust me, I’ve been a thug (before Christ) and I’ve been the victim of a violent crime, if criminals had the time to tie a noose around your neck and shout “this is MAGA country” in your face, you’d remember some specific details about their features, clothing, smells, etc.Stop and think about it. What black man in Chicago, one of the most liberal cities in all of America, is attacked in the middle of the night because he’s black or gay? It would be different if Smollett were robbed for money or gangsters mistook him for someone else. That wasn’t the case. Additionally, on the night of the attack, temperatures were well below freezing. Wouldn’t Smollett have been bundled up? I wouldn’t recognize the guy on the red carpet, let alone during an arctic blizzard! How is an attacker going to recognize and target him specifically because of his skin color and lifestyle?!Democrats like Jussie Smollett shouldn’t be able to get away with fabricating stories created to divide Americans and simply walk away with a slap on the wrist. However, since this story no longer serves its intended to purpose to destroy Trump, I suspect his left-wing media allies will sweep it under the rug as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, here are some useful takeaways from the Jussie Smollett hoax:...1) Political correctness forbade us from calling BS:...2) The media wanted this story to be true: ...3) Democrats wanted this story to be true: ...4) Jussie Smollett isn’t a good guy: ... [he could have started a race war]5) America isn’t the place Democrats say it is: What does it say about America when a gay, rich, black man pretends to be the victim of a racist, homophobic crime? It tells us that such crimes are rare. It also tells us that most Americans are too consumed with their own lives to care about Smollett’s race and sexual preference. Americans, in general appreciate diversity. It’s democrats that are intolerant.Liberals who live in the social-justice bubbles of Chicago, Los Angeles and New York don’t have a clue of what people are like outside of their insulated enclaves. Nor do they care to know. Democrats project their feelings onto conservatives. Jussie Smollett is indicative of what the left has become; dangerous, irrational, hateful, judgmental, close-minded, self-absorbed and phony.
