He "loves Socialist women"
Because they don't talk about being raped. They "take one for the team," or, like groupies, keep score on their bedposts.
Sort of reminds you of Nina Burleigh who was so enamored of Clinton’s policies that she would have given him a Lewinski.
I suppose he viewed that milieu as providing his supply of new women, and as one where women who caught his eye would either be compliant, or keep quiet about having to fight off his advances. Either way, there are a lot more women — and men — in Socialists circles who know about his activity than have ever said so."

Egypt holds out begging cup.
Asks US for billions more in aid.
Senior U.S. officials are particularly alarmed by the deterioration in Cairo's finances since the street revolt that ousted President Hosni Mubarak in February. The Egyptian government has been forced to spend between $3 billion and $3.5 billion of its foreign-exchange reserves a month to pay for food and other commodities as tourism has plunged and overseas remittances have dried up.
Gee, who could have foreseen that? I mean, isn’t what’s going on in Egypt a mass movement for "Democracy" and were we not assured by top men in the Obama administration that the Muslim Brotherhood is a secular organization? What could go wrong?
And you thought you were getting screwed by your banker!

Why Texas is Not Mexico
This Stratfor analysis brings home a basic truth. Discussing the reasons why the level of drug-related violence and (police) corruption is immeasurably greater in Mexico than Texas, right across the border, it concludes that culture is the basic difference.
...over time, an institution will take on the characteristics of, and essentially reflect, the environment surrounding it.
Liberalism has been working in this country to change the basic environment from one of individualism to collectivism; from one of the individual or family having the responsibility to take care of itself, to having the government – the “collective” – taking care of the individual. The risks to this change are becoming increasingly obvious; its hazards are illustrated by the tragedy of the commons. Today polls show that the people are opposed to the current levels of government spending and regulation, but when asked about programs that benefit them, wish to have them maintained.
It is also becoming obvious that when the State has power over our lives, the impact of bad or corrupt leaders becomes immeasurably greater.
Texas is not Mexico, but there is no reason it can’t become Mexico.

Who is Tahawwur Hussain Rana?
Tahawwur Hussain Rana is going on trial for conspiring with others in the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. During the attack which lasted 3 days ten Pakistani gunmen wielding semiautomatic weapons and grenades terrorized and killed More than 160 people, including 6 Americans.
While Wikipedia is not the final word on anything, here is how they describe Tahawwur Hussain Rana. He was born in Pakistan, educated at a military residential college in Pakistan. He and his wife immigrated to Canada in 1997 and obtained Canadian citizenship. Both are doctors. Rana served in the Pakistan Army' medical corps. He lives primarily in Chicago and owns several businesses including an immigration service agency. He also owns a home in Ottawa where his father and brother stay.
So he’s a Pakistani immigrant, a doctor, served in the Pakistani army, is a Canadian citizen and is accused of helping plan one of the most destructive terrorist attacks in recent history and is suspected of being tied in with the ISI, the Pakistani spy agency.
How does NPR characterize Rana? As a Chicago businessman.
The more you pay in taxes the more your vote should count.
David Harsanyi takes a stupid Ezra Klein idea (aren't they all?) and gives it a reasonable spin.
We're all trying to solve the "free rider" prblem.Since he’s so concerened with the consequences of political decisions, why not give proportional weight to the votes of the productive and unproductive. The more you pay in taxes the more your vote counts. This way those who vote to increase the size of government but contribute little to keeping that government afloat can sit on the sidelines?
Gingrich denies that what he said was what he said.
Any ad which quotes what I said on Sunday is a falsehood, because I have said publicly those words were inaccurate and unfortunate[.]
New Al Qaeda leader gives press conference.
Frank Fleming has the transcript.
Read the whole thing.SAIF AL-ADEL: “Thank you for coming here today. I’m happy to announce that I, Saif al-Adel, am the new leader of Al Qaeda. I’m really excited at this opportunity, and have lots of plans to really advance our cause in the area of killing infidels.”

DRUDGE headline. Must be that famous Obama "Smart Diplomacy."
Third of Berlin university students consider sex work
The study found some 4 percent of the 3,200 Berlin students surveyed said they had already done some form of sex work, which includes prostitution, erotic dancing and Internet shows.

The "Great White Rapist" is one of THEM!
For decades elite liberals in the media and academia have been ignoring the enormous number of rapes of white women by blacks. Instead, they hoped for the Great White Rapist (or Rapists) of a woman of color. Their hopes came crashing down when the Tawana Brawley case and the Duke gang rape turned out to be hoaxes. Now they may finally have their rapist, but guess what? It's one of them! An arrogant, spoiled, wealthy, politically correct limousine liberal. The disappointment must be terrible.
Climate models go cold
The debate about global warming has reached ridiculous proportions and is full of micro-thin half-truths and misunderstandings. I am a scientist who was on the carbon gravy train, understands the evidence, was once an alarmist, but am now a skeptic. Watching this issue unfold has been amusing but, lately, worrying.
This issue is tearing society apart, making fools out of our politicians.
The whole idea that carbon dioxide is the main cause of the recent global warming is based on a guess that was proved false by empirical evidence during the 1990s. But the gravy train was too big, with too many jobs, industries, trading profits, political careers, and the possibility of world government and total control riding on the outcome. So rather than admit they were wrong, the governments, and their tame climate scientists, now outrageously maintain the fiction that carbon dioxide is a dangerous pollutant.
You can't put Osama in your gas tank.
Vander leun:
Do you like to ski, surf? Well you'll have to start adding the cost of gas to the cost of lift tickets or beach parking times the distance from your house to the slopes or the sand. Too much? Into the gas tank go the lift tickets and surfboard.
In these and a hundred other small and yet relentless ways you are entering into, directly as a result of this president and his party's policy, the new American era of "Slow Impoverishment."...
Killing Osama felt good, didn't it? But that's it. Breaks over. Everyone back on your heads.
Strange that the only ones who are enjoying the slow impoverishment of Americans are its enemies and the president and his party. They are laughing at you and their slowly impoverished base at their dinner parties. At the top, where the buck starts, his continuing pleasure in your slow impoverishment is one other thing that is "undiminished" in the mind of the strange and un-American "faith" of Obama.
GE lobbied for $50 light bulbs.
GE, run by Obama’s jobs czar Jeff Immelt, lobbied for government regulations that outlawed the light bulbs it makes in plants like the one in Winchester, VA. As a result, “jobs guru” Immelt is firing 200 employees in this plant alone.
Instead it has outsourced the production of the poisonous mercury containing compact fluorescent bulbs in China where wages are much, much lower and environmental regulations virtually non-existent.
The step beyond compact fluorescents are LED bulbs that are being brought to market at $50 each. Considering the fact that incandescent (regular) light bulbs are a commodity that anyone can make, and that they’re cheap so they don’t have a big profit margin, GE has colluded with the government to outlaw the bulbs that you like and force you to buy bulbs you don’t like at a much higher price with much bigger profits. That’s how big business and government to collude to screw the consumer.
And they do it “for your own good.”

Romney =1 Palin =2 in Gallup Poll
Palin scores highest in "name recognition," trails Romney by 2% in "trial heat ballot" and beats him by 2% in "positive intensity."
Pretty good for the candidate that none of the power brokers want.

Are David Gregory and Chris Matthews Racist?
NBC Has a Problem: Are David Gregory and Chris Matthews Racist?
My friend Tony Katz came up with the brilliant term “racer,” the definition of which is someone who dishonestly accuses someone else of racism for political advantage. If you watch the clip below of this Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” you’ll see David Gregory attempting to be a racer, but in the process he only ends up exposing his own bigotry:
What kind of person hears “food stamps” and automatically thinks “Black people”?
Well, that would be a bigot.
