Now that progress has been made, he said, "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

Sitting in the back of the Obama bus.
Still keeping to his metapho9r of the economy as a car, Obama tells Republicans to sit in the back. The irony meter is off the scale.

When I hear that Obama is personally popular, its his policies that people don't like, I wonder why because time and again he proves himself as a totally obnoxious personality.
From this back of the bus comment, to the police acting stupidly, to bitter people clinging to guns and religion, to figuring out whose ass to kick, for candidate Obama giving Hillary the finger, laughing when Wanda Sykes wishes Rush Limbaugh would die, for lipstick on a pig, and telling us again and again that he won the election, for me its not just his policies I don't like, its the whole man.
