“fierce urgency of now”

Obama running for election:

“In this election — in this moment — let us reach for what we know is possible,” Obama told an enraptured audience. “A nation healed. A world repaired. An America that believes again.”

Obama yesterday:  

“When I said ‘change we can believe in,’ I didn’t say ‘change we can believe in tomorrow.’ Not change we can believe in next week.

Apparently that "fierce urgency"  is behind us.  He's got the house, the staff, the cars, the plane and the job.  He's OK; you?  Not so much.
