"Taliban 2.0"

Mark Steyn is right, the corporate press and America's Ruling Class are the enemies. 

 ~Surprise, surprise! After three weeks of trolling about "Taliban 2.0", the new regime in Afghanistan turns out to be, as I said last week, "an 'inclusive' government encompassing both mullahs with full beards and mullahs with three-quarter-length beards". Or as The New York Times puts it:

For example, the new Interior Minister is Sirajuddin Haqqani, whose main experience of the Afghan interior is the last twenty years he's spent blowing various bits of it sky-high. Mr Haqqani is on the FBI's Most Wanted list with a $10 million bounty on his head. Just in case you feel the bloated, hollow, flailing non-superpower isn't enough of a global laughingstock, the G-men add this caution:

~The "negotiations" in Doha about a "broad-based government" based on broads were always a joke. As I wrote a decade back, during the Iran nuclear jaw-jaw in Geneva, once the west enters into negotiations, the overwhelming priority becomes ensuring negotiations keep going: the talking is the point. Grasping this simple essential, the Taliban used the Doha negotiations for a "coalition" government as a convenient cover to put in place their plans for a totally non-coalition government. As the BBC's Yalda Hakim wondered to an interviewee this morning, "Do you think the Taliban do not understand what 'inclusion" means?"

Oh, I think they understand very well. It is noticeable that the frontmen they had in Doha all turn out to be rather unimportant: thus, Mullah Baradar, who was granted at least one one-on-one conversation with Trump, has been rewarded with the relatively piffling job of one of multiple "deputy prime ministers". The house-trained mullahs were in Qatar to string along the State Department rubes; the blood-drenched "stalwarts" were waiting in the wings.

FBI Delenda Est-But No Cato or Scipio Are In Sight

 This refers, of course, to the FBI’s and DOJ’s weighty pronouncement that one of the 1/6 arrestees was in possession of–wait for it!–an assembled Lego model of the Capitol. Except it wasn’t actually assembled. It was still in the box. But still! Obviously he was planning dastardly deeds with Legos! It’s amazing the Republic survived. Thank God the FBI is there to protect us!

The FBI has of course been going all out to apprehend the trespassers, gapers, gawkers, and other assorted invaders of the Capitol. They announced with pride some weeks back that they had made 535 arrests. (Gee. Why that number?) (And none for sedition. Why is that, if this was a greater threat to “our democracy”–which it ain’t–than the Army of Northern Virginia?)

But of course the FBI had advanced warning. So why didn’t they stop it?

Why do I say that they had advanced warning? Because I guarantee that every remotely open access organization or ad hoc grouping is penetrated by the FBI. FFS, the FBI has surveilled the “Concerned Women of America,” as if it’s the ISIS Women’s Auxiliary. What next? Red state sewing circles?

Based On LEGO Evidence, FBI Believes Capitol Rioter Was Also Planning Attack On Hogwarts Castle

 

PITTSBURGH, PA—The FBI released disturbing new details today regarding alleged January 6th rioter Robert Morss, who had a fully-constructed LEGO Capitol building in his home. Agents say Morss was also building several LEGO Harry Potter sets, leading authorities to believe he was planning a similar attack on Hogwarts Castle.

“The suspect had several completed LEGO Harry Potter building sets and was about 80% of the way through building the advanced-level LEGO Harry Potter Castle,” said FBI bureau chief Warren Alvarez. “We feel we caught him just in the nick of time before things turned violent once more.”

Alvarez said a review of Morss’ online social media accounts show him to be a staunch supporter of Lord Voldemort, believing that Albus Dumbledore was fraudulently elected as the leader of Hogwarts. Documents found on his computer show that Morss was planning a violent protest at the school on July 31, Harry Potter’s birthday.

“This is a huge win for law enforcement,” said Alvarez. “The FBI is proud of our work taking dangerous, LEGO-building criminals off the streets. Also, now I don’t have to buy my kid a birthday present, which is awesome.”

In related news, press secretary Jen Psaki said President Biden is renewing his calls for common-sense LEGO control, calling for universal background checks for all LEGO purchases as well as closing the toy show loophole. Psaki said. “We must work vigilantly to keep these dangerous LEGO weapons of war off our streets,” Psaki said.

 Do you remember how conservatives went out of their way to separate rank-and-file FBI agents from the corrupt actions of Jim Comey, Andrew McCabe, Bill Priestap, James Baker, James Rybicki, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, and others as more evidence came to light revealing that the top brass at the bureau had worked to create an "insurance policy" that could be used to overthrow President Trump from office?  Writers and television pundits would always couch any criticism of the bureau in some respectful language like "we're only talking about high-ranking officials here, not the FBI, itself, which is filled with the best agents in the world who are always looking out for America."

I think we can dispense with the overly protective pleasantries at this point.  The FBI is a goon squad of un-American thugs who have taken the worst elements of East Germany's Stasi police state and Cosa Nostra's organized crime and turned them into a blueprint for exercising and keeping illegitimate power over their enemies.  They aren't a law enforcement organization, and they certainly don't give a rat's rear end about justice.  They're regime enforcers with badges.

Last week, Rep. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) revealed an utterly shocking fact: when a deranged leftist named James Hodgkinson opened fire on congressional Republicans in 2017, nearly killing GOP Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), the FBI ruled the shooting a “suicide by cop.” Even FBI agents disputed the ruling, Wenstrup added.

“I was there in Alexandria, Virginia, on the morning of June 14, 2017, when a shooter attacked Republican members of Congress practicing for a charity baseball game,” Wenstrup began in a hearing on Thursday. “We know from [the shooter’s] social media posts that he hated Republicans and that he hated President Trump. He loved Bernie Sanders and he held left-wing beliefs. We know he carried in his pocket that day a target list with names of Republican congressmen… that included their physical descriptions.”

The shooter also reportedly asked a congressman whether those practicing on the field were Republicans or Democrats. He fired 136 rounds at those on the field, after confirming that they were Republicans. Wenstrup briefly listed a few of the key facts that “by the grace of God” enabled the Capitol Police to take down the shooter before he could kill any congressmen. Even so, Scalise barely survived with his life.

Wenstrup described the shooting as an attempted “insurrection.”

“Trapped in a field would have been 20 to 30 Republicans assassinated, and the attacker may have believed that he could change the balance of power in the U.S. House of Representatives in one morning,” the congressman added.

He noted that the FBI did not call any of the congressmen as witnesses about the shooting, but “on November 16, 2017, FBI agents briefed those of us that were on the field that day… Much to our shock that day, the FBI concluded that this was a case of the attacker seeking ‘suicide by cop.'”

“Director, if you want suicide by cop, you just pull a gun on a cop. It doesn’t take 136 rounds. It takes one bullet,” Wenstrup noted. “Both the [Department of Homeland Security] and the [Office of the Director of National Intelligence] published products labeling this attack as a domestic violent extremism event, specifically targeting Republican members of Congress. The FBI did not. The FBI still has not.”...

In the Trump-Russia investigation, the FBI targeted a Republican presidential campaign based on salacious and unverified claims in a document that his Democratic opponent’s campaign funded. Only this kind of heinous political bias could explain how the FBI could forcibly bury Hodgkinson’s clear motivations.

This is the same FBI that claimed Antifa was just an idea.
