Al Qaida Plot to Blow Up Airliners

As I woke up this morning, all the news was about a plot to blow up airliners flying from Britain to the US.



I wonder what Senator Lamont's solution will be.

"Had this plot been carried out, the loss of life to innocent civilians would have been on an unprecedented scale, British Home Secretary John Reid said.

Well, technically they would have been dead, yes. But at least they would have died knowing their precious civil liberties were intact!
