The Virginian Pilot is taking great pleasure in telling us what “macaca” means. Did you know? Well, it’s a word used by George Allen to describe a James Webb supporter who was videotaping him at a campaign rally. And we are supposed to be terribly offended and conclude the Allen is a closet (or not so closet) racist.
I was brought up Dutch, and there was an expression used by my parents that had a double meaning. It was “oude hoor” and it describes the Virginian Pilot editors and reporters to a T. I invite anyone to tell me the two meanings of this old Dutch phrase.

As long as the Virginian Pravda; ooops, excuse me; Pilot can fill the front page with Democratic propoganda, stories about pirates, and items trying to put a good spin on that fine example for our youth, the Vice Mayor, they can ignore things like the fact that a whole bunch of people that carry thier bedding on their heads want to kill us.
