Paul noted earlier the bizarre rant by Congressman Pete Stark during today's "debate" on the SCHIP program. Here it is; it has to be seen to be believed. This could be the craziest outbreak of Bush Derangement Syndrome ever. "Bush just likes to blow things up," soldiers in Iraq are being killed "for the President's amusement," and so on. The guy is a nut. The real question is, are there any members of the Democratic Party, prominent or not, who mind?
The question is asked: is it possible for a Democrat to go too far?
Stark's tirade was insane, but for some time, not a single Democrat tried to distance himself or herself from it, while Stark was wildly applauded on the left (and equally crazed) side of the blogosphere.
