Obama brags about wanting to create jobs ... costing you $400,000 per job.

Reading the article by Richard Fernandez at Belmont club I was struck by the small number of jobs that Obama said he would create and the staggering cost of the jobs.  Obama promised 5,000 jobs at a cost of $2 billion.  that's $400,000 per job.  Bragging about "as many as 5,000 green jobs" at a time when between 600,000 and 700,000 people gave up looking for jobs in despair seems like spitting in the ocean.

Saying that we “won’t replace all the jobs we’ve lost overnight” is one of those Orwellian statements that Obama is fond of making.  Subsidizing a Spanish company in hopes they will hire 5,000 people when nearly a quarter of a million Americans a month are losing the struggle for meaningful employment reeks of desperation.  Obama sees the rising tide of unemployed Americans and is willing to do anything, say anything, to appear to be slowing that tide; but only if it fits his socialist, corporatist, global,  green conception of the America he's designing in his own mind.

Otherwise, you can sit on smelly beaches covered with oil thanks to the Obama administration.
