While engaging in astonishing viciousness, vulgarity and violence toward Republicans, liberals accuse cheerful, law-abiding Tea Party activists of being violent racists.
Responding to these vile charges, conservative television pundits think it's a great comeback to say: "There is the fringe on both sides."
Both sides? Really? How about: "That's a despicable lie"? Did that occur to you simpering morons as a possible reply to the slanderous claim that conservatives are fiery racists?
Ann gives examples; read the whole thing.

Case in point, the recent Andrew Breitbart/Shirley Sherrod flap. Few, lets change that to very very few, conservatives have stood with Breitbart in the Sherrod affair.
Breitbart didn't fire Sherrod, Obama did, yet who gets the blame?
When you listen to the woman and her hubby, they are both caught in a racial time warp. Yet who is called a racist? But if the media thought Sherrod would help their cause, she'd still be around, but her real views were an embarrassment to the template. Let's see was it Breitbart or Sherrod that refer to people as being one or another "kind" of human being.
Still the woman is sainted by the media on all sides, and Andrew is the villain.
We've a long way to go Baby.
