Modern day Bourbons (Bring in the clowns)

Just when you thought that the Left could not get any more clueless the editors of the Virginian Pilot tag teams with Leonard Pitts to prove you wrong.

I was listening to Glenn Beck on the radio a few days ago and heard him making fun of people in the MSM who took his “Beck University” seriously. I wondered what he was talking about.  Surely no one could take that bit of comedic hyperbole seriously.  Do some of the cretins that are still employed in that dying industry actually think that this is a real university and that Beck is serious about creating a real school?

Yes.

And who are the cretins of the day? None other than Pilot editorial page editor Donald Luzzatto and “all black all the time” columnist Leonard Pitts. If these guys were any more clueless, they would be carrying drool cups.

The problem with the Left today is that, like the Bourbons of France, they have “learned nothing and forgotten nothing.” Having dominated the media and the culture for so long they fall for any joke that is played on them. To the media, conservatives are such a rare species that they actually assign reporters to them, as if the majority of the country is some long forgotten tribe in Borneo. It’s puzzling, then infuriating for a moment; then it becomes comedy.

But the clowns don’t realize it.  They think the people are laughing with them.  Wrong Bozo breath.

UPDATE:  Oh, and another reincarnation of the Bourbons ... the NAACP
