Liberals and Unicorns

Liberals believe in unicorns.  The unicorn in this case is the human being who, when employed by a government agency, suddenly inhabits a higher, more exalted moral plane.  Just as judges become wiser than the lawyers they once were.  And students become wiser and more disinterested once they become academics.  They also believe that men and women who write and edit newspapers know what they are writing about.  It’s not just Liberals who believe this, many others do. They are known as “low information” voters.
