Reply to the Anti-TRUMPers, we are NOT mind number robots.

I this were true, Trump would have no supporters. But it’s not what people who support Trump AND HIS POLICIES believe.

The election in 2020 is not the primary issue. However, it’s not reasonable to believe that a man who campaigned from his basement managed to get over 81 million votes, beating the “Light bearer”, Barack Obama, who received just under 70 million votes – by over 11 million votes. That election was an experiment in absentee voting, a system that lends itself to higher levels of voter fraud than in-person voting.

So, it’s not hard to understand that the people who supported that man who attracted huge numbers of supporters to his rallies have a problem believing that the man who spent much of the campaign in his Delaware basement was the legitimate recipient of the largest vote total in American history.

But I will not relitigate the 2020 election except to say that millions of people from all political parties now have less faith in the fairness of American elections.

The real issue is that the Trump administration changed several government policies that helped the middle class, people who had become disposable by the political elite.

By encouraging the production of natural resources, the price of gas and oil declined, reducing the cost of living for most people. This also reduced dependence of America on foreign energy suppliers, countries that do not have our best interests at heart.

Trade policies that once favored the export of jobs to China and Third World countries were altered, incentivizing American companies to bring jobs back to the US for American workers.

The economy boomed, as did the stock market making many in the middle class richer. Inflation was low, and there was no question that Trump loved the country and its people.

The culture was anchored in tradition, and there was no confusion about the identity of men or women.

Meanwhile, under the surface, the Left told us that white people are irredeemable racists, men are oppressors, the most important right that women have is the right to kill their babies, and that a doctor can’t know what sex a baby is when it’s born. The latest person elevated to the Supreme Court cannot define what a woman is but is wise enough to interpret the Constitution.

And now in the open, killers are given a chance to kill again, out on bail. New York’s subways are dangerous, as are Philadelphia’s streets. Los Angles and San Francisco are now known for their homeless encampments and streets littered with feces and used needles. The people who run these cities proclaim that his is what success looks like.

This is what Trump derangement syndrome has given us. And it's why Trump has millions of people who want him back.

Media Blames Trump After Joe Biden’s Russia Policy Fails to Deter Vladimir Putin

“…the Russian thug now attacking Ukraine helped Donald Trump become president because he thought that would some day make this kind of attack easier to pull off. He was right in the short term, longer term, TBD,” wrote CNN White House correspondent John Harwood.

You can't make this stuff up.  Wonder if theybeleive it or if their bosses forced them to say it?

What kind of mind works like this?

What’s amazing about the Left’s vision of America under a Trump administration is that they saw the lowest unemployment in decades, rising wages for the poorest among us, the end of jobs being shipped overseas, oil and gas independence. lower fuel prices, lower taxes, no new wars and the winding down of old ones, the end of ISIS, and the outbreak of genuine peace in the Middle East.  And they called it a horror!  What kind of mind works like this?

Trump Calls for Peace, But the "Conservative" Thought Leaders Call For War -- On Actual Conservatives

Ace of Spades goes off on Republicans like Romney, Erickson, Lowry, Kerr, McCarthy, and all the rest of the grifters who made a good living pretending they were on your side.

Meanwhile, other Donor-Class Darlings are attacking Trump for not offering a full-throated-enough condemnation of Mostly Peaceful Protests.

Quick question, though: You know the candidate you in fact supported, but were too cowardly to forthrightly admit you supported? You know, the "moderate" Joe Biden?

Can you tell me when he condemned the violent anarchists of antifa?

Oh he refused to, right? He was demanded by Trump to denounce antifa, and refused, and said antifa was "just an idea" and therefore should not/could not be denounced?

And of course you took him to task for that, right?

Oh you didn't?

You know, for years, those of us on the Real Right have had one fundamental, dealbreaker demand: We shall not have two sets of rules, one for the left and one -- a much more punishing and vindictive one -- for the right.

And throughout all these years, the grifter pseudoright has backed up their leftwing allies' in their insistence that no, the left should have a more lenient and permissive set of rules, and should be permitted the occasional year-long spasm of psychopathic violence.

We should defer to the Moral Authority of the psychopathic left.

So yeah, the pseudoright agrees with the left on the minor issue of whether conservatives actually are full citizens in the US -- they agree with the left that we're second-class citizens as best. We're a kind of unconvicted-criminal class who are born into a lesser caste marked by limitations and special obligations.

But you know, they agree with us on the really fundamental "conservative" issues like whether their donor Google should be protected forever from an antitrust/monopoly practices lawsuit. And other big issues like whether or not their corporate donors should get another big tax break.

So, at least we have agreement on that.

So we're all one big happy Party, right?

We're one United States of America, huh?

Silicon Valley is Killing People

If someone lost a family member to Covid-19, whose doctor refused to prescribe Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc, can that doctor be sued for malpractice?

If someone lost a family member to Covid-19 because Facebook and Twitter removed this information preventing people from using this drug cocktail can Facebook and Twitter be sued and it's leaders arrested for murder?

USING FISH TANK CLEANER TO KILL YOUR SPOUSE

Like the Agatha Christie novel about the woman who kills her husband with poison and takes a small dose herself to deflect the police.

Either this couple was staggeringly stupid (which is, admittedly, a possibility) or, as he said, something doesn't compute. The whole thing reads like something out of a mystery novel, with the narrative being too pat: Trump is hopeful about a drug, a Trump-hating woman "spontaneously" decides that Trump explicitly recommended eating fish tank cleaner, her husband dies, and the media have a ready-made headline. No matter how you spin it, it's a fishy story, at best.

Had I been keeping up with Techno Fog on Twitter, I wouldn't have been so delicate in my hints. It turns out that "Court records show the wife who fed her husband fish cleaner (poison?) has a history of mental illness (paranoia, depression) and had considered divorcing her husband as far back as 2012":

Not the Babylon Bee

I had just finished reading a satirical article in the Babylon Bee when I switched to reading an article in The Atlantic.  For a moment I thought I had stumbled on another satire, just a lot longer.

That I realized that this is the Deep State in all it's self -righteous paranoid glory.  You can't parody this:

When Donald Trump came into office, there was a sense that he would be outmatched by the vast government he had just inherited.

The new president was impetuous, bottomlessly ignorant, almost chemically inattentive, while the bureaucrats were seasoned, shrewd, protective of themselves and their institutions. They knew where the levers of power lay and how to use them or prevent the president from doing so. Trump’s White House was chaotic and vicious, unlike anything in American history, but it didn’t really matter as long as “the adults” were there to wait out the president’s impulses and deflect his worst ideas and discreetly pocket destructive orders lying around on his desk.

After three years, the adults have all left the room—saying just about nothing on their way out to alert the country to the peril—while Trump is still there.

There follows the beatification of several Swamp Dwellers including Erica Newland and Andrew McCabe and vicious attacks on Trump, and Barr.

It's a scream of rage by the Left who thought they had a mandate from heaven to rule, only to find that all the levers and tools they had to destroy their opponents are ineffective.  They are impotent and this is the verable version of this after realizing that Trump will be re-elected.As campus antics escalate, the majority of Americans say ...

Roger Kimball: Donald Trump vs corona hysteria

The most recent access to the madness of crowds was sparked by the coronavirus — China’s latest gift to the world. The hysteria over this flu-like ailment has been building for weeks. It finally took hold of the US markets on Monday, precipitating a panicked sell-off and creating a slew of bargains for people in the market to buy.

No one knows exactly how far or how fast the coronavirus will spread. Nor does anyone yet know what its toll will be. China did not help matters by its initial secrecy and posture of denial. But those Chicken-Little-like hobbits shouting ‘the sky is falling, the sky is falling’ should pause to catch their breath. There is a lot we do not know about this virus and a vaccine is likely a good year way. But those predicting — at times, their eagerness makes it seem they are hoping for — something as deadly (and newsworthy: ratings, my dear, ratings!) as the Spanish flu epidemic of 1918 (when some 50 million were killed) are likely to be disappointed.

No sooner had news of the virus emerged than the left tried to weaponize it against Donald Trump. But his response to this apparent medical emergency has been magnificent. At first, the media condemned him for taking swift action to stop flights from places, like China, where the infection was rife and growing. ‘Can you believe it? Trump restricted flights from China. What a racist!’

Then, as more and more cases were reported and the markets turned sour, they berated him for not doing enough. ‘Why did you only ask Congress for $2.5 billion? Chuck Schumer said you should have $8.5 billion!’

Anyone wanting to see what patient leadership in action looks like should watch the president’s press conference Wednesday on coronavirus. He did what a leader should do. He reassured people. He presented the facts, so far as we know them. He outlined the many actions his administration was taking to mitigate danger and the various contingency plans should the disease worsen or spread more than we currently expect.

The president called on medical experts to explain various aspects of the situation. He was calm but serious, cautious but optimistic. The danger to the US at present, he pointed out several times, is very low. Currently, he said, there are 15 confirmed cases here. Fifteen. Most patients are recovering; one is in a serious condition. He also highlighted that every year, the flu claims anywhere from 25,000 to 60-odd thousand lives.

Pelosi Defends Ripping Up Trump's Speech, Saying It Was Just A 'Clump Of Cells'

Babylon Bee

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Nancy Pelosi has been criticized for tearing up President Trump's speech after the State of the Union since immature behavior is almost completely unheard of among politicians.

But Pelosi has stuck by her actions, saying that tearing things up comes naturally to Democrats, whether those things are speeches about America and patriotism or unborn babies.

"What difference does it make?" she asked in her response after Democrats figured out how to operate the video camera. "It's just a clump of paper cells, no biggie. In no way is this representative of our hate for America."

"We need to tear the speech up to see what's in it."

Planned Parenthood applauded the tearing up of the speech, pointing out that the ripping of the paper was very similar to the procedure used to tear an unborn baby from his or her mother limb from limb. "It's great that in 2020, elected officials can finally demonstrate a late-term abortion procedure live on camera," said a PP spokesperson. "We are no longer living in the barbaric dark ages."

Democrats’ Election Strategy: Call Everyone A Moron

Great headline, and so true.

Democrats may have abandoned their overtly racist tactics of the past, but their goals remain the same: divide to conquer.

That may work in small pockets, but nationwide it is a recipe for disaster. “You’re a racist, now vote for me” or “You’re a moron, now vote for me” may resonate well on CNN or when spoken about others in the third person at high-dollar fundraisers on the coasts, but they aren’t slogans that will win you many votes from the rest of the nation in between.

While a “news” story entitled, “Coronavirus task force another example of Trump administration's lack of diversity,” sounds great in the echo chamber of a CNN staff meeting, you’d have difficulty finding anyone sane who gives a damn about the race of their doctor when they’re sick. No one with a heart condition is walking out of the office of the best heart surgeon in the world because their skin color isn’t “diverse” enough.

But this seems to be what Democrats are pinning their 2020 hopes on – that people will ignore or discount how good they have it because “Orange Man Bad.” It seems unlikely that people they need votes from will, after 4 years of being called racist, sexist, homophobic, fat, stupid, rubes controlled by their fear, will go out and support candidates who promise to reverse the gains they’ve made under the Trump administration and embrace the policies crippling economies from Venezuela to France. But Democrats are going to try. Good luck with that.

Remembering James Hodgkinson

Can we be honest?  Bernie Sanders is a Communist who makes speeches calling for a revolution.  In that respect, he has a lot in common with Vladimir Lenin who ushered in the Russian Revolution.   Recall how that turned out?

The Democrats are threatening violence against regular Americans is they don't get their way.  The Democrat who shot and tried to murder Representative Scalise was a "Bernie Bro."   When you call for a revolution, lots of people take you seriously.
James O’Keefe released a series of videos today that feature a Bernie Sanders campaign worker named Kyle Jurek. They are in the usual undercover format used by Project Veritas. Jurek says many shocking things. He promises that Milwaukee will “burn” if Sanders doesn’t get the Democratic nomination, and vows to attack police officers. He endorses the Soviet Gulag in particular, and Communist re-education camps in general. He talks about “revolution” and suggests that anyone who opposes the Bernie Sanders revolution will be shot. He comes out against free speech. Jurek advocates sentencing billionaires to hard labor “breaking rocks” and approves of Antifa. His language is vulgar and threats of violence are interspersed through his conversation....

One Democrat on Twitter described Jurek as “a random, drunk, low-level organizer for Bernie.” That’s really the question: how typical of the Bernie movement is this thoroughly disgusting creature? O’Keefe says the Jurek videos are only the beginning, and he hints that there are more videos coming, featuring more Sanders employees and volunteers. We will see....

The liberal press has tried to bury the fact that Hodgkinson, a Sanders volunteer and hard-core labor unionist, shot up a group of Republican Congressmen, and would have succeeded in murdering the House Majority Whip, but for the miracles of modern medicine. In that case, Sanders was quick to condemn political violence. If asked, I suppose he would distance himself from Jurek, too. But how many more are there where Hodgkinson and Jurek came from? How extreme is the Bernie Sanders movement, really?

Near as I can tell, Soleimani was to be the keynote speaker at the DNC convention this summer. The struggle is real.

The headline is from a comment following this column:

American Trump Derangement Syndrome Is An Iranian Strategic Asset

What strikes me is how Trump Derangement Syndrome has overwhelmed the Democrat and media responses. This cannot be lost on the Iranians.

While the pleas for Mullah mercy from the likes of Rose McGowan and Michael Moore, and the woke rants of Colin Kaepernick, may be laughed off by the Mullahs as typical western weakness, the reaction of Democrat politicians is more serious and may lead to Iranian miscalculation that Americans will turn on Trump before they turn on the Mullahs.

It’s clear that Democrats are doing to the killing of Soleimani, who has the blood of thousands of Americans on his hands, what they did to Russia Collusion and every other anti-Trumpism that motivates their throbbing Trump-hating base.

If Iran is successful in attacking a U.S. target or targets, Democrats and the media will blame Trump, not the regime that has been chanting for our death since the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran. It’s not unreasonable to believe based on their behavior that Democrats and the media are hoping Iran gives us a bloody nose or worse so that it can be used against Trump in the 2020 election.

The Reason for Killing Soleimani

Watching The Five last night when it occurred to me that the reason for killing Soleimani: - he was planning a major attack - was a distraction.  The Democrat on the panel said she wanted to see evidence as if the evidence would make her an ally in the fight against Radical Islam.  That's bullshit and a distraction.  In her universe, if Trump is for it, she's against it.  If Trump did it, it's evil.

The reality is that he was a major leader in the war between radical Islam and America and we killed him. He was responsible for thousands of dead and tens of thousands of maimed. He was evil and deserved to die.

Of course he was planning attacks; that's what he did, and he was good at it. Now he's dead and the world is better for it.

OPINION: Whether or Not Trump Committed a Crime, Can’t We All Agree That He is Guilty of It?

This is satire, but I find examples daily of exactly this reasoning in respected publications.  Trump is a crook, they reason, and we should not need to prove it.  He just is, they scream.  Rush is right; Trump has driven the press and a good part of the Democrat Party faithful literally insane.

Let me lay out my reasoning. Trump, as we all know, is a criminally corrupt president, unfit and emotionally unstable. It is our job as reporters to discover the evidence that proves these facts. But here’s the rub – finding evidence is difficult and expensive. Can’t we just jump to the end and say he’s guilty already?

First of all, we know he’s guilty because we feel these facts deep within our bones. We feel the knowledge of his guilt well up inside us when he appears on the TV screen. We flush to its terrible revelation when he speaks. It’s insulting, frankly, that we should have to prove this guilt by “standards” of “law.”

Rage Unhinged: The Celebrity Trump Edition

Having given up on accusing Trump of being Hitler, they are now saying he's Satan
They’re [Trump supporters] the most vacant group of people….Devil worshipers have a higher standard than he [Donald Trump] does. Devil worshipers. You couldn’t be a pedophile, you can’t speak bad about people, you can’t take things from people. Like, you could worship the devil and be a better human being than if you worshiped Donald Trump….Look up the tenets of the Church of Satan….and then go to a Trump rally and you’ll feel safer around Beelzebub than this dude.”

Donald Trump or the preferred candidates of the lunatics who tweet stuff like that.

Mark Steyn on "Wokeness at Warp Speed"

A few months ago I observed to Tucker Carlson that the difference between "Bush Derangement Syndrome" and "Trump Derangement Syndrome" was that the former was largely contained to a visceral loathing for the President himself, whereas the latter has been extended to anyone who voted for him - ie, the half of the electorate comprised of "racists", "fascists" and "white supremacists". Now TDS rampages on, to consume half the Democrats, too...
Like Nancy Pelosi and Slow Joe Biden

Let us take it as read that Trump is racist, and every Republican legislator is racist, and every Republican voter is racist. That's still not enough. Insufficiently Woke Democrats have to be racist, too:

Ocasio-Cortez Implies Pelosi Is Racist for Singling Out 'Newly Elected Women Of Color'

Speaker Pelosi has hosted meetings of "dreamers" where she thanked their parents for bringing them to the United States, because they're better than us, they're better than you. But you can cheer mass invasion and demographic replacement and still come up short, you racist. So it turns out even the vice-president to the first black president is likewise a racist:

Joe Biden's Racial Dog Whistle
...

In the 2012 election, a cocksure Biden assured a black audience that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan were "gonna put y'all back in chains". That's how easy it was back then. He dozes off for twenty minutes and wakes up to find he's Simon Legree.
Today the Virginian Pilot published an editorial cartoon calling America racist and referred to Donald Trump's tweets where he tells some of Democrats who continually criticize America that they may want to first fix the cultures they left.  They were labeled "incendiary."

So I did a search of the Virginian Pilot archives finding dozens of references to Trump as a Nazi, a fascist, Hitler or as a racist.  The Virginian Pilot never once called those vile slurs "incendiary."   Is it any wonder that unhinged, violent radicals like Willem Van Spronsen are encouraged to shoot up an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington?  The press encourages him and people like him.  They hold his coat and have his back.

But I digress.  Back to Steyn:

As I said a couple of years back, when everybody's Hitler nobody's Hitler. And, indeed, when nobody's Hitler everybody's Hitler. Conservatives such as yours truly are inured to what passes for "debate" in America: if I critique AOC's Green New Deal and its plans to eliminate bovine flatulence, it's because I'm racist. It's not a difference over public policy, it's simply my bigotry. This strategy of labeling rather than debating has proved so effective that Republicans have given up talking about almost anything that matters - see, e.g., immigration until Trump entered the primaries four years ago. But, precisely because labeling has proved so effective for so long, it would be preposterous to expect the labelers to confine its use only to Republicans. Especially when labeling is all they know how to do.

And so the Wokestapo (as Laura Rosen Cohen calls them) knock on the door, and Nancy Pelosi finds herself as reviled as old-time segregationists like, er, Mitt Romney. From USA Today:

No, the real issue here is what we academics call 'intersectionality' — the combined impact of racism, sexism and other types of discrimination on people and groups. In practice, it means that white women in power often take on the same characteristics of white men in power toward women of color.

So the Speaker of the House, quite without meaning to, has turned into Nancy Trumposi.

It was inevitable.  It's not possible to be Woke enough.

Peggy Noonan still doesn't get it - and likely never will

Peggy Noonan's latest column in the Wall Street Journal
But it is a weakness of Trump supporters now that they still cannot take seriously the unreadiness of the White House for a sudden, immediate and high-stakes crisis. They do not see the chaos and the lack of professionalism of the unstaffed government as a danger. It is, a dreadful one.

This is the glaring defect that Peggy fails to see.  It’s not just that the people who govern America don’t care about the people in the country.  It’s that the ruling class has done such a piss poor job of governing.

They don’t realize that they have done a terrible job because they are doing really, really well for themselves.  In that, they resemble the oligarchs and dictators who rule in places like Cuba and Venezuela.  They are fat, happy and rich while their people go dumpster diving for food.

Americans living in places away from the metropolitan areas on both coasts are not yet in the same shape as Venezuelans, but they have seen their jobs and dreams escaping thanks to the plans and policies of the ruling class who exported their jobs to third world countries and their dreams for their children buried under piles of college loan debt that did not provide the future they were promised.

Babylon Bee: Demanding To Know Why He Allowed President Trump To Get Elected, Dems Subpoena God

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Trying to get to the bottom of how and why President Trump was elected, House Democrats issued a subpoena to the Almighty God to force Him to testify in Congress Wednesday....

After the Lord, who sits in the heavens and does all He pleases, did not show up at their hearing, Democrats were seen eating KFC to mock Him for being "a chicken" and issued a stern warning.
