These are the Drudge headlines, but let's make something clear: Sandy was not a "Superstorm." It was big but not that violent. It just happend to hit an area that's not used to hurricanes, even very low level hurricanes and is totally unprepared for it. Combine that with local, state and federal government officials who did absolutley nothing to prepare for the storm like stockpiling water and gasoline, like preparing the NY subway system for flooding, like failing to prepare the power grid for storm damage, like turning back volunteer crews from out of state because they were not union crews, like FEMA still housing peope in tents in freezing weather.
