The World Health Organization (WHO) advised Ukraine to destroy any dangerous pathogens being kept in research laboratories to prevent "any potential spills" that could harm the public, an official told Reuters news agency on Thursday.

Like other countries, Ukraine has public health laboratories that study dangerous diseases in humans and animals, including Covid-19. Some of these labs have received support from the US, EU and WHO in the past.

Can America Survive the Biden Administration?

 

The question that many Americans are now asking themselves is whether the United States can survive another three and a half years of a Democrat administration. Under its stewardship, a short period of merely a few months has seen the country sink into a morass of increasing social dissension, mounting debt, growing unemployment, the dismantling of central industries, gross mismanagement across the board, military embarrassment, policy failure, and international humiliation. 

The nation is ruled by a president who seems to be in the terminal stages of galloping dementia. His potential replacement resembles a cackling witch with the intelligence of a feral child. The Senate majority leader is by all reasonable accounts a candidate for intensive psychotherapy. What unites these three presumptive authorities is a triple condition consisting of (a) contempt for the country they were elected or appointed to serve; (b) an intelligence quotient at the low end of the bell curve; and (c) an insatiable lust for the spoils of financial jobbery and unmitigated power.

This is What a Whole of Government Epistemic Failure Looks Like

 3 years and 2 months; 38 months. That is how long the Soviet trained Afghan Army and government lasted after the withdraw of the Red Army.

There is your benchmark. The Soviets were 38-times more successful in Afghanistan than we were, and they did it in half the time.

Let that soak in. Let the humiliation flow over you like a healing balm. Fear and shame – regardless of what modern minds try to tell you otherwise – are great motivators. Let this motivate you.

Almost exactly two decades after the attacks of 9/11, as a nation we are covered in disgrace. A global humiliation on a national scale. Accept that. Hold it close to you. Feel it. Smell it. Know it, because it will be attached to us for at least the rest of the decade – most likely longer.

Good people can agree or disagree about staying or going from Afghanistan, but no one can defend how we did it.

Everyone here who [was] given responsibility by the American people failed.

The president failed. . . . All our intelligence agencies failed their government and the people.

Our think tanks, the legions of foreign policy and diplomacy PhDs from all the right schools who populate the National Security State who like to tell everyone how smart they are – they all failed.

The Mendacity of Joe Biden and the Ruling Elites

 Since he became President, many Americans and journalists in the alternative media have been taken aback by Biden’s penchant to outright lie repeatedly in the course of any speech, pronouncement or press briefing.  Throughout his political career, in virtually every speech or answer to a question he has not only trafficked in political obfuscations but repeatedly told overt lies about his life history, legislative matters and his political opponents.  He fits the definition of a compulsive liar: 

A compulsive liar is defined as someone who lies out of habit.  Lying is their normal and reflexive way of responding to questions.  Compulsive liars bend the truth about everything, large and small.  For a compulsive liar, telling the truth is very awkward and uncomfortable while lying feels right as they oftentimes have a need to embellish and exaggerate.

There is little doubt that Joe Biden is suffering from mild cognitive decline brought about by the aging process, but that should not be viewed as an excuse for his character traits, in particular self-obsession and compulsive lying.  In reality, these types of character traits are not developed as a person grows older.  Instead, lifelong traits become more pronounced and exaggerated in old age.

Thus, he is not an absent-minded grandfatherly and politically moderate occupant of the White House but the most dishonest, deceitful and mendacious person in a position of power in American history and, along with his influencers in the radicalized Democrat party, an empirical threat to the future of the country.

Determined to rid the nation of Donald Trump, the ruling elites inflicted Joe Biden upon the nation by egregiously and perhaps illegally manipulating election laws and obfuscating and oftentimes burying unflattering and negative stories about him and his family.   Biden was an ideal choice for the elites as he is, in many ways, a reflection of who they are.  However, this choice also revealed their obliviousness in dismissing the depth of Biden’s narcissism and habitual duplicity.

The three-headed monster of radical leftism, a duplicitous Joe Biden and a credulous ruling elite has unleashed upon the nation the onslaught of identity politics and cancel culture, unconstrained illegal immigration, unfettered money creation and spending, manipulated and unfair elections, racial demagoguery and the near-permanent abrogation of freedoms under the guise of fighting a pandemic.

It is imperative that the American people become more involved in the nation’s governance by actively participating in a patriotic resistance against the tyranny of a central government dominated by the left.  In a multi-ethnic nation of 330 million that spans a continent, the primary solution to this descent into potential anarchy lies in forcing an awakening by and a transformation of the elites and related institutions, thus recapturing the culture.  As that is the key to permanently defeating the militant left.  

This will require political turmoil.  The people must force and endure dramatic, painful, institutional battles outside of the federal government: in universities, non-profits, media, arts, and the array of institutions that constitute the sinews of a self-ruling people.  Meanwhile, the American people, and in particular the nation’s elites, must reject the false characterization of Joe Biden and recognize the mendacious man he is and the self-obsession that motivates him.   Thus, making it imperative that he and his administration be thwarted at every turn by state governors and legislatures, the Congress and the Courts.

Let’s take Obama at his word for a moment and assume that he really is a clueless dilettante who doesn’t know anything about anything until it appears in bold type on the front page of the New York Time. But then what exactly does he do besides give speeches at fundraisers, golf, vacation and blame Congress for not passing some gimmick bill that even his own party loyalists wouldn’t touch in an attempt to divert attention from the latest disaster he only found out about through the media?

He tried to force amnesty through Congress and instead caused a border crisis. After blowing a billion dollars on a contractor with a top family friend executive, the ObamaCare website went 404. His stimulus funds went into the trash. His Green Energy recipients went into bankruptcy court. He’s still claiming credit for fixing unemployment by convincing the unemployed to drop out of the economy.

And now he’s stuck being a third-rate Bush, bombing Iraq while trying to explain that the Al Qaeda he’s bombing now is not the Al Qaeda he claimed to have defeated when he was running for reelection.

...Obama didn’t want to do anything about ISIS. He didn’t want to do anything about the VA. He didn’t want to acknowledge knowing anything about the IRS targeting and he didn’t care about how well or how badly the ObamaCare website would work until he realized its impact on his approval ratings.

Obama’s incompetence and ignorance are expressions of his contempt for the people beneath him. His policies implode because he never bothered to understand how they would impact real people. He chooses not to know, because he chose not to care.

Obama promise to protect Estonia from Russia lasts less than two days

On Friday morning, less than 48 hours after President Obama delivered a speech in Estonia warning that Russian aggression against Estonia could trigger war with the US and NATO, Russian security forces have seized an officer with Estonia’s state security bureau at gunpoint and taken him into Russia.

Unless this is the beginning of an invasion, the only reasonable conclusion is that Putin is publicly humiliating Obama.

That’s a solid statement of Obama’s own view of the significance of his presidency going in, I think. Only he knows what he thought his election and the big Cairo speech in 2009 would accomplish, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he honestly believed it’d be a death knell for jihadism going forward. The death wouldn’t be quick or painless, but having now been deprived of the anti-Americanism that supposedly — supposedly — sustains it, it could only wither and die. That would also explain his fascination with dopey “wrong side of history”/”no place in the 21st century” rhetoric whenever ISIS decapitates someone or Putin invades a neighbor. It could be that O really did believe his election marked a historical turning point in which the diminution of retrograde forces abroad was inevitable. And maybe that’s why a year’s worth of briefings on ISIS didn’t penetrate. Don’t they know they’re going to lose? Haven’t they seen his face?

If his face, his skin color, his race didn't change the world, there's no plan "B". As Brit Hume says, "he's not adaptable." Six years into failure and he literally does not know what to do. God help America ... and the rest of the world. The first few years the disaster that's his presidency was like a snowball rolling slowly downhill. But how it's gathered mass and gaining speed and it's going to be a disaster when it finally hits something.

Obama is not a failure as President ... he's a "fierce minimalist."

Or he could be an acupuncturist, believing that pinpricks will cure what ails you.

After the election, a little time passed and then, flexibility happened.

... the Chinese ADIZ, the Russian annexation of Crimea, the rise of ISIS, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the fall of Mosul, the end of Hungarian liberal democracy, the Central American refugee crisis, the Egyptian-UAE attacks on Libya, the extermination of Iraqi Christians, the Yazidi genocide, the scramble to revise NATO’s eastern-frontier defenses, the Kristallnacht-style pogroms in European cities, the reemergence of mainstream anti-Semitism, the third (or fourth, perhaps) American war in Iraq, racial riots in middle America, et cetera and ad nauseam.All that was in the future just one year ago.

So far the Obama Presidency has been a slow motion disaster. Now things are speeding up.

It took a while to get rolling. Beginning with the “stimulus” that, to the surprise of those who believe bumper stickers, did not provide shovel ready jobs. So the economy was left to heal itself. It did so by shoving lots of people out of the work force … permanently.  It's in the process of decimating the Middle Class.  What do you do when there’s no chance of getting a job and you’re young. I dunno. Move to Ferguson and try a little looting? And what is the answer when the black community starts blaming the "Kenyan" black president? We’re about to find out.

Meanwhile Democrats focused like a laser beam on taking over America’s health care system. The image of competence in this sphere exploded when the website blew up. The real disaster, the greatest part of the destruction is not here yet, but it’s getting closer.

The Federal Reserve thought it would be a great idea to create so much money (Qualitative Easing they called it) that everyone would be a millionaire and bankers would have garage sales as they peddled their extra money. That didn’t happen but the effect of printing a few trillion dollars is beginning to be felt in the grocery store, and soon it will spread to the rest of the economy. We won’t be using wheelbarrows to take our money to the grocery store; we use credit cards which makes the trip a lot easier.

Meanwhile in another part of the forest, the group of people Obama called the “JV Team” suited up and decided that it would be fun to rid the world of everyone who didn’t bow to Allah. It’s attracting recruits from all over the world who like nothing better than to have their kids hold up the severed heads of their enemies. As a plus, they have revived the ancient practice of crucifixions. When a large group of their intended victims managed to escape from their mountain refuge, Obama took a victory lap, announced mission accomplished, and played another round or two of golf.

Despite assurances to the contrary, Ebola appears to be spreading. Perhaps nature is heeding the call of the Greens who have called for reduced population by depopulating Africa … or perhaps other parts of the world. We’ll soon know.

And in Europe it’s hard to tell the difference between the old USSR and modern Russia. Mr. Putting seems to see the loss of the old empire so much that he’s busy working to recreate it. The Ukrainian military may be just strong enough to begin World War 3. It's not strong enough to finish it.  Stay tuned, news at 11.

And the “leader of the free world?” He’s checked out. There are a few more parties to host, some golf to play and fundraisers to attend. But for the rest, don’t bother him. He’s got his eye set on a great house in California.

The Russians invaded Crimea and Barack Obama went on Ellen to hear the hostess gush about how much America loves Obamacare.

Commentators with a cruel memory have recalled the moment from one of the 2012 presidential debates when President Obama cited Mitt Romney’s warning about the growing threat from Russia and dismissed it with a superficially sophisticated putdown: “The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back.”

When I hear President Obama threatening to impose consequences on Vladimir Putin et al., or imposing them, as he did today, I think: “The 1930s are now calling to ask for their piece of paper back.” The piece of paper would be the one Obama carries in his pocket whenever he meets with a tyrant.

Neville Chamberlain waved it upon his return to London from Munich in 1938, declaring that it represented “peace for our time.” “Our time” lasted roughly ten months.

Having sized up Obama and his Team of Nitwits, Putin won’t even give them a fig leaf. Why bother?...

Obama intensely wants to sell out to Putin, but Putin isn’t buying. He prefers to take without the patina of agreement. He views Obama with the utmost contempt, and he is proving himself a rather more perceptive student of character than his Western counterparts, Obama foremost among them.

Obama Visits Gap, Amazed by Credit Card Machine

Remember when the MSM ridiculed Bush for not knowing about supermarket scanners?  That story was false but the MSM didn't care, they used it as a tool to help their guy, Jimmy Carter, win.

On Tuesday, President Obama took Air Force One to New York to stop at the Gap in order to flog his case against income inequality. And there, Americans learned he had no idea how to use a credit card machine.

According to the White House press pool, Obama visited Gap because the company recently announced that it would voluntarily increase wages for employees. After telling employees that “the ladies will be impressed by my sense of style,” Obama then picked up a couple of sweaters for his girls, Sasha and Malia.

Upon checking out, however, the problems began. Obama took out his credit card and began handing it to the cashier, who told him that he could swipe his credit card in the automated machine. “Oh, wow,” Obama said, “so you can sign the machine?” He then said he was kidding: “They had these around the last time I shopped.”

From the MSM, otherwise known as Obama's Palace Guard, no a mention.

Oh, and several more things wrong with this little episode. What's "President Global Warming" doing taking Air Force One to NY City for a photo-op. He can get there on the bus for $50 or take the train for $100. Instead he uses the gas guzzling 747, at a cost to taxpayers of $228,228 per hour, for the short hop to NYC, and of course snarls traffic for hours while he "shops" at the Gap.  But hey, it's not coming out of Obama's pocket and he's not snarled in traffic while in NYC.  Worrying about money, and getting stuck in traffic is for the little people.
