The vile Al Sharpton described President Trump’s speech at Mount Rushmore as a “love letter to white supremacy.” In Saturday night’s PoliticsNation, Sharpton smeared our Founding Fathers, as white supremacists, rather than courageous heroes that founded this great nation.

Senator Kamala Harris defended the Rev. Al Sharpton as someone who has “spent his life fighting for what’s right,” after President Trump called the MSNBC host and controversial figure a “con man,” claiming he “hates whites & cops.”

If Harris believes inciting violence, leading race riots, rallying anti-Jewish protests, and corporate shakedown schemes count as “working to improve our nation,” then Sharpton has gone above and beyond.

Since the 1980s, Sharpton has engineered protests, boycotts, and riots, often pitting African Americans against Jewish communities. Perhaps the most gruesome being a four-day race riot in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, after a Hasidic driver killed the child of Guyanese immigrants in a tragic car accident. Sharpton stirred up anti-Semitic protesters, shouting, “No justice, no peace!” They targeted innocent Jewish homes, breaking windows and setting cars on fire, and an angry mob murdered the Jewish driver, Yankel Rosenbaum. Sharpton lead the mobs who chanted about killing “bloodsucking Jews” and “Jew bastards.”

Comcast, Al Sharpton Hit With $20 Billion Racial Discrimination Lawsuit

Al Sharpton is a shakedown artist.  Pay him ... or face a his racist "rent a mob."

According to the lawsuit, Comcast and TWC "collectively spend approximately $25 billion annually for the licensing of pay-television channels and advertising of their products and services, yet 100% African American–owned media receives less than $3 million per year."

At the time of Comcast's 2010 acquisition of NBCUniversal, Comcast entered into memoranda of understanding with the NAACP, the National Urban League and the National Action Network, but the lawsuit says the voluntary diversity agreements are "a sham, undertaken to whitewash Comcast's discriminatory business practices."

The plaintiff objects that the only fully black-owned channel picked up by Comcast is the Africa Channel, and that entity is owned by former Comcast/NBCU exec Paula Madison, who "was directly involved in putting together the sham MOUs and obtaining government approval for the Comcast acquisition of NBC Universal, thus creating a serious conflict of interest."

Other black channels are said to be "window dressing," with black celebrities as "fronts" when they are "white-owned businesses" that are run by friends or family of Comcast executives.

The lawsuit goes on to say that Comcast made large cash "donations" to obtain support for its acquisition. The money includes $3.8 million to Sharpton and his National Action Network. The money, it's charged, was meant to pay Sharpton to endorse the NBCU deal and divert attention away from discrimination. As for Sharpton's MSNBC gig, the complaint says, "Despite the notoriously low ratings that Sharpton's show generates, Comcast has allowed Sharpton to maintain his hosting position for more than three years in exchange for Sharpton's continued public support for Comcast on issues of diversity."

How Sharpton gets paid to not cry ‘racism’ at corporations

Want to influence a casino bid? Polish your corporate image? Not be labeled a racist?

Then you need to pay Al Sharpton.

For more than a decade, corporations have shelled out thousands of dollars in donations and consulting fees to Sharpton’s National Action Network. What they get in return is the reverend’s supposed sway in the black community or, more often, his silence.

Mark Steyn: "He's not Muslim, he's just mentally ill."

The incomparable mark Steyn remarks, in his inimitably un-PC way on the way the media (including FOX) treats certain people who commit certain acts and belong to a certain religion.   And the insular and insulated, protected and pampered Ruling Class. 

Diversity seems to be working out fine in the upper echelons of society. But lower down the ladder identity-group politics requires ever more virulent demonization of "the other". Otherwise, how's an ugly thug race-baiter like Al Sharpton supposed to stay in business? And so #blacklivesmatter, and Rafael Ramos and Wen Jian Liu are serviceable stand-ins for Bull Connor, as was "white Hispanic" George Zimmerman a couple of grievances back. Aside from being a respectable NBC anchor and a welcome guest at Obama's White House, the Reverend Al is said to be the "co-mayor" of New York. This term is largely metaphorical - for the moment. But you can already discern the contours of the American future: A chichi Green Zone within which the consequences of identity-group politics are confined mainly to sudden vapors over microagressions and nanoaggressions, and the plump prosperous power-brokers of "social justice" live lives comfortably undisturbed by the passions they foment when they jet forth with ever larger entourages to toss some red meat to the mob in Ferguson or Staten Island. And beyond the Green Zone a land of minimal economic opportunity fracturing into ever fiercer tribal resentments that find ever more violent expression.

If you want the picture in a nutshell, the same Department of Homeland Security that declines to fence America's vanished southern border is recommending the fence round the White House be made even taller. The Obamas and de Blasios and Sharptons will always be inside the fence. The effects of their policies are largely on the other side.

~Is it relevant that Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley is a Muslim? Maybe not. But it isn't so irrelevant that every news outlet (including Fox) has to be quite so cautious about mentioning it at all. Newsday, one of the few papers that did, reported the view of Robert Boyce, the NYPD's Chief of Detectives:

Boyce said Brinsley had no gang affiliation or tattoos. His family is Muslim but the NYPD found no indication that he was religious or that the slaying was motivated by religion. He said the family said he never manifested "any radicalization."

So the preferred explanation is mental illness:

The shooter may have had an undiagnosed mental illness, according to his family, and may have been on medication "later on in life," Boyce said in a briefing in Manhattan. But he said he had no official reports of any mental illness.

Indeed. In fact, there's less hard evidence for any mental illness than there is for "radicalization", at least to the extent that Brinsley appears to have posted on his Facebook page the Koranic soundbite about "striking fear into the enemies of Allah". Nevertheless, the preferred explanation is that Brinsley was mentally ill, just like the guy who beheaded a coworker in Oklahoma was mentally ill, and the Sydney bloke who took those hostages at the coffee shop was mentally ill, and the son of the Canadian Refugee Board honcho who killed a soldier at the Canadian War Memorial was mentally ill. They were also all Muslim. Oh, and the fellow in France who ran down 11 people with his car while shouting "Allahu Akbar!" only yesterday has already been pronounced mentally ill. By sheer coincidence, he was Muslim, too.

Gunman executes 2 NYPD cops as ‘revenge’ for Garner

Two uniformed NYPD officers were shot dead Saturday afternoon as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner — in what investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s ­assassination-style mission to avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

“I’m Putting Wings on Pigs Today,” a person believed to be the gunman wrote. “They Take 1 Of Ours . . . Let’s Take 2 of Theirs,”

Over the coming days and weeks you will see the Liberal media scuttle away like roaches from the environment and hate they created.

De Blasio did what he could to stoke racial violence between the police and "his" constituents.

It is the sequence that every mayor dreads: the ominous report, the scramble to the hospital and the confirmation that, yes, an attack against the police has proved fatal.

But for Mayor Bill de Blasio, the tragedy on Saturday — when two police officers were shot and killed in an ambush in Brooklyn, according to the authorities — arrived at a particularly trying moment, amid an already fractious relationship with the police.

Police union leaders and officers could be seen turning their backs to the mayor and the police commissioner, William J. Bratton, as they walked past, in a video taken at the hospital where the two held a news conference on Saturday.

A written message from Edward Mullins, president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, addressed the mayor directly. “Mayor de Blasio,” it read in part, “the blood of these two officers is clearly on your hands.”

This afternoon Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared on MSNBC with Reverend Al Sharpton to discuss the turmoil in Ukraine. Following is a transcript of that interview which airs tomorrow night on MSNBC’s, PoliticsNation.
AL SHARPTON: My guest tonight is the leader of the Soviet’s Union, Battamier Prutin. He joins us via saturnite from Russia. Welcome to my show, Mr. Leader.
VLADIMIR PUTIN: (nods)
SHARPTON: I should inform you upfront that since I’m host of my own news show on MSNBC I’m expectated to ask the tough questions. I’m also an African American man of color. Shall we proceed?

SHARPTON: Mr. Leader, you are in the headlines on a daily basis. Last summer you rescued our commander of chiefs from a debarnacle in Cereal and recently you hosted the game of Olympics in your country. PUTIN: If people in Ukraine have chlamydia it’s because they not use rubbers.

SHARPTON: You are against the gays and transmembers. You don’t let them get married or hold hands in department stores.

SHARPTON: But they let them hold hands.
PUTIN: That is their prerogative.

PUTIN: (shifts his position and sighs) No offense, but your Joe Biden is buffoon.
SHARPTON: There are some who would conscrew that to be a racist comment.
PUTIN: What is racist about it?
SHARPTON: Cause you’re calling someone from a different race a baboon. That is a deromatory term.
PUTIN: Me and your Joe Biden are same race.
SHARPTON: Not according to him. He tells everybody he’s Irish.
PUTIN: (nods)
SHARPTON: Let’s move on. The White House says if you don’t leave the Ukrainials alone President Obama may cancel his trip to your country in June.
PUTIN: We deal with that in June.
SHARPTON: He also said he was deeply concerned.
PUTIN: We see what happens in June.
SHARPTON: (looks surprised) And that’s it?
PUTIN: (shrugs)
SHARPTON: Mr. Leader, it might be constructed if you showed President Obama some respect.
PUTIN: I show respect.
SHARPTON: Are you being mean to our leader because he’s an African American man of color?
PUTIN: I save him from humiliation in Syria. He was same color then.
SHARPTON: Have you seen our leader without his shirt on?
PUTIN: I saw photo in People magazine.
SHARPTON: He looks pretty good, huh?
PUTIN: (shifts in his seat) I don’t want to appear, as you say, light in loafers.
SHARPTON: I’ll take that as a yes. So why don’t you take our leader horseback riding with you? It would make him look stronger and you’ll get credit again for enhancing his image.
PUTIN: I don’t know if that such good idea. What if he falls off horse?
SHARPTON: He can wear his bike helmet.
PUTIN: (sighs) If your president want to ride horse, I take him on horse.
SHARPTON: (looking at smart phone) Uh, one last thing, Mr. Leader. I just got a text from my new, much younger girlfriend. She wants me to accept the autographed picture.
PUTIN: I send two. One for her, one for you. (smiles and winks)
SHARPTON: (Bashfully) Thank you, Leader Prutin.

A walk down memory lane with Al Sharpton and Tawanda Brawley

Ann Coulter does a masterful job of reminding us what had the news media fixated in 1987 - the hoax orchestrated by MSNBC host Al Sharpton:

Back in November 1987, 15-year-old Tawana Brawley was found curled up inside a plastic bag in an apartment building parking lot. She had feces and racist graffiti all over her body, her clothing was torn and burned, and she was apparently unconscious.

When she emerged from her (fake) unconsciousness, she claimed she had been held captive in the woods for several days, while being raped and beaten by six white men, including policemen and the local prosecutor.

The story being utterly preposterous, every law enforcement agency in the universe was called in to investigate -- the FBI, local, county and state police. Gov. Mario Cuomo directed the state attorney general, Robert Abrams, to investigate Brawley's claims.

MSNBC's Al Sharpton was one of Brawley's "advisers" throughout this massively expensive investigation, along with lawyers Alton Maddox and C. Vernon Mason -- both later disbarred.

Eight months and 1.3 million taxpayer dollars later (in today's dollars), the purported attack was exposed as a complete fraud. It turned out that Brawley made up the gang-rape story to avoid explaining to her volatile stepfather why she hadn't come home for four nights straight.

Among other findings, the grand jury's 170-page report noted these facts:

-- Witnesses saw Brawley getting into the plastic bag by herself, and then hopping around in it before curling up into a ball on the ground.

-- The hospital rape tests were negative and no semen was found anyplace on her body.

-- She had no recent bruises or other marks on her body consistent with rape.

-- Hospital technicians who evaluated Brawley concluded that she was faking unconsciousness.

-- Brawley was well-nourished, had clean breath, no bruises or injuries to her body and was not suffering from exposure, despite temperatures having dropped to freezing several times when she was allegedly being gang-raped in the woods.

-- Witnesses had seen Brawley in a vacant apartment where she had once lived during the period of the alleged attack.

-- In that apartment, investigators found charred fibers matching the burnt clothes Brawley had been found in, the source of the material that had been stuffed in her nose and ears, and the feces that had been smeared on her. Investigators even identified the dog whose feces it was. Her dirty clothes were still in a washing machine in the building.

At no point did Sharpton question Brawley's story or urge her to recant. To the contrary, as the case fell apart, Sharpton's demagoguery rose to Olympian heights.

He branded Abrams "Hitler," called Gov. Mario Cuomo a racist, and demanded that Cuomo appoint Maddox special prosecutor on the case. (It was a reasonable request: Maddox had accused Abrams of masturbating to photos of Brawley.)

Even in 1997 -- a decade after Brawley's story had been proved a hoax beyond a scintilla of a doubt -- Sharpton arranged for her to give a speech to his United African Movement at a Brooklyn church.

I find it hard to believe that Al Sharpton did not know Brawley was lying about being raped by a Nazi cult on the Wappingers Falls police force.

Just a reminder; this is the same news media that are feeding us the same kinds of lies by Team Obama and his allies including ... wait for it ... the "reporter" Al Sharpton.  Keep in mind that this was a "story" where the key element was race baiting.  Times really have not changed at all; the same race baiters are still at it.  You can keep this media, of you want it.  Me, personally, not so much.

They're not opposed to Sharpton's rhetoric, racism and anti-Semitism. They just want a bigger piece of the action.  it's not a Holy War, it's a squabble over who gets paid more in the Race Industry.

Why is Michelle Malkin a Better Man than Sean Hannnity?

Why do certain people, like Hannity believe that by going into the Nazi-like meetings that Sharpton calls he's defending his point? All he's doing is validating the race-hustling killer's stature. He's not going to change the minds of the Black Nazis who surround Sharpton, but by his presence he shows that Sharpton is "somebody."

Then again, Hannity is a Limbaugh wanna-be. Perhaps he needs to do things like this for ratings.

The Decline of the Civil-Rights Establishment

Shelby Steele (who is black enough to comment) talks about the Civil-Rights establishment and its foot-stomping tantrum because it was not able to intimidate the jury into convicting George Zimmerman.

The verdict that declared George Zimmerman not guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin was a traumatic event for America's civil-rights establishment, and for many black elites across the media, government and academia. When you have grown used to American institutions being so intimidated by the prospect of black wrath that they invent mushy ideas like "diversity" and "inclusiveness" simply to escape that wrath, then the crisp reading of the law that the Zimmerman jury displayed comes as a shock.

On television in recent weeks you could see black leaders from every background congealing into a chorus of umbrage and complaint. But they weren't so much outraged at a horrible injustice as they were affronted by the disregard of their own authority. The jury effectively said to them, "You won't call the tune here. We will work within the law."

Why did the civil-rights leadership use its greatly depleted moral authority to support Trayvon Martin? This young man was, after all, no Rosa Parks—a figure of indisputable human dignity set upon by the rank evil of white supremacy. Trayvon threw the first punch and then continued pummeling the much smaller Zimmerman. Yes, Trayvon was a kid, but he was also something of a menace. The larger tragedy is that his death will come to very little. There was no important principle or coherent protest implied in that first nose-breaking punch. It was just dumb bravado, a tough-guy punch.

The civil-rights leadership rallied to Trayvon's cause (and not to the cause of those hundreds of black kids slain in America's inner cities this very year) to keep alive a certain cultural "truth" that is the sole source of the leadership's dwindling power. Put bluntly, this leadership rather easily tolerates black kids killing other black kids. But it cannot abide a white person (and Mr. Zimmerman, with his Hispanic background, was pushed into a white identity by the media over his objections) getting away with killing a black person without undermining the leadership's very reason for being.

The purpose of today's civil-rights establishment is not to seek justice, but to seek power for blacks in American life based on the presumption that they are still, in a thousand subtle ways, victimized by white racism. This idea of victimization is an example of what I call a "poetic truth." Like poetic license, it bends the actual truth in order to put forward a larger and more essential truth—one that, of course, serves one's cause. Poetic truths succeed by casting themselves as perfectly obvious: "America is a racist nation"; "the immigration debate is driven by racism"; "Zimmerman racially stereotyped Trayvon." And we say, "Yes, of course," lest we seem to be racist. Poetic truths work by moral intimidation, not reason.
