Our French Revolution

 We are in a Jacobin Revolution of the sort that in 1793-94 nearly destroyed France. And things are getting scary.

The Democratic Party vanished sometime in 2020.

Elites run this revolution, and is a top-down operation.

University deans all but prompt students to disrupt invited campus speakers. District attorneys release violent arrested criminals without bail. Woke generals call their Chinese counterparts to warn them against their own commander-in-chief.

The Pentagon lectures the country on its supposed innate racism - even as the United States continues to lose wars abroad, abandons billions of dollars of equipment to terrorists, and allows communist China to surveil domestic American military bases with impunity.

Words change their meanings. "Racist" now means "don't dare object." "White" became the pejorative stereotype used by racists. "Diversity" means tired orthodoxy. "Equity" is a synonym for bias. "Inclusion" ensures exclusion.

Institutions are no longer recognizable. The FBI as we knew it no longer exists. Three former FBI directors either lied under oath to federal investigators or pleaded amnesia in congressional testimonies.

Our highest former national intelligence officers lied under oath to the Senate. The IRS is weaponized against political opponents of the Democrats. The Department of Justice is more likely to send the FBI after grammar school parents than mobs threatening the homes of Supreme Court justices.

Still, to thoroughly erase America, our Jacobins must radically alter our customs and traditions.

So under the cover of the COVID-19 quarantines, Election Day was made irrelevant. In the new America, 70 percent did not vote on the designated day but, fueled by third-party vote harvesting and relaxation of audits of non-Election-Day ballots, extended the vote over a period of several weeks.

Like the Jacobins, names, and dates had to be radically transformed. 1619, not 1776, is now America's birthdate, and, we are told, it was an ignominious one.

Statues are toppled, and careers Trotskyized.

Biological males suddenly have hijacked women's sports - destroying five decades of women's hard-won efforts to achieve equal treatment and respect in athletics.

Understand That Some of Them Want You Dead

 Some psycho freak attacks a school and murders kids and teachers and you naturally want to draw a lesson from it. But it just happened and we do not actually know anything except a basic outline of the facts. One problem is that we may never know – if the facts are determined by the regime to be counter to the Licensed and Approved Narrative, then we will never know them This will go in the Forgotten Atrocity File, because it is not useful for the purpose of subjugating us.

Of course, some of these people are not satisfied with mere subjugation. They want extermination. For a slice of the Twitter pie, the massacre at a Christian school was a cause for smug celebration. Take that, Jesus people.

You need to accept that some people want you dead.

It’s nothing personal though, because you are not a person to them. You are an Other, an enemy, a designated villain for whom no suffering is sufficient to purge the crime of being you and not understanding that your proper role is submission. You look at how the other socialists through history, of various flavors, convinced people to engage in genocide and you realize it is all the same. The Other is bad, the Other is not human, the Other must die. The Russian Bolshevik socialists thought that way as they murdered millions. And the German national socialists thought that way as they murdered millions. And the Red Chinese, the Khmer Rouge, the Cuban socialists – all of them butchered those who were not quite human not because they were no homos sapiens but because they were not New Socialist Men.

This is the same with only the scope and the terminology. Maybe it was some antifa freak dreaming of a French Revolution here. Maybe it was some trans monster acting out his/her/zir homicidal fantasies. Maybe it was just a bastard. You can bet that if it was anything but an allegedly Christian Republican NRA member you won’t hear a damn thing. I would add race to the mix, but that’s not even important to their bogus analysis. “White Latinos,” black people who are the face of white supremacy, it doesn’t matter. All their race hustling is simply cover for the real truth. They hate you because, whatever your race or religion or anything else, you refuse to submit.

Some want you dead.  Some on social media will tell you.  Others simply imply it....

 They will eagerly demand that you disarm, because guns are bad you see. Except no one ever wanted to help you by making you less able to defend yourself. This is not about helping you. You are never going to shoot someone in a drug deal gone south or a carjacking. You will never walk into a school with murder on your mind. All you will do with those big, evil guns of yours is defend yourselves against criminals and tyrants. But then, our enemies like criminals and love tyrants. And they hate you.

What has become of us

 I’m going to skip over the recent reports that the CDC, DHS and other federal agencies have been directing social media platforms on not just what but whom they would like to be censored. A clear first amendment violation....

Needless to say this obliterates the idea that these are simply private companies doing what they want. This is fascism, textbook.

In my view, we desperately need one major social media platform to embrace free speech and allow for open debate, this is the only pathway to make that a reality. While I don’t trust Elon Musk I am left with no choice but to pray his prior claim of being a “free speech absolutist” was sincere and he can somehow navigate this minefield to make my dream a reality. It may sound like hyperbole but I think the fate of humanity may rest on his shoulders; without open dialogue the chasm between our warring camps will widen and things will almost certainly turn violent. Let’s give peace one last shot. Words will never hurt you but civil wars most certainly can.

“Parents have a right to know what’s going on in and outside the classroom,” said the NHGOP via Twitter. “This is disgusting. Your NH House Dems voted for this!”

Today we’re releasing a video Matt Orfalea has been working on, showing years of audio and video clips, tweets, and headlines in which Democratic Party politicians and media figures describe Donald Trump’s presidency as illegitimate. Before it was even published on this site, Matt received the above notice.

I’d like to thank YouTube for making our point. The material in this video does not promote the idea that any election was stolen or illegitimate. On the contrary, it shows a great mass of comments from Democratic partisans and pundits who themselves make that claim, about the 2016 election. Those comments were not censored or suppressed when made the first time around, by the likes of Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Karine Jean-Pierre, Adam Schiff, Rob Reiner, Tom Arnold, and Chris Hayes, among many others.

Nor did any platform step in to issue warnings when my former boss, Keith Olbermann, promised with regard to Trump’s ascension to the White House, “It will not be a peaceful transfer of power.”

However, the decision to assemble these materials in one place, inviting audiences to consider their meaning, apparently crosses a line. Now we know: you can deny election results on a platform like YouTube as much as you want, you can even promise disruption, but drawing attention to such behavior angers the algorithm. It’s hard to imagine a better demonstration of the double-standard in content moderation.

Why the left keeps smearing its political rivals as Hitlers or Mussolinis

 

Want to be Hitler? You don’t have to hate Jews, invade Poland or grow a silly mustache. There’s only one thing you have to do: Win an election against the left, or even look like you might.

We’ve seen that for years, of course. Democrats have likened every GOP presidential candidate back to Tom Dewey to the Austrian corporal.

When the Tea Party movement — best known for leaving the sites of its protests cleaner than it found them, in stark contrast to lefty groups like Occupy or BLM — appeared on the scene, they were immediately likened to Hitler’s brownshirts.

To listen to the Democrats and the media (I repeat myself), the Trump administration was a Nazi reign of terror over America, though none of those critics wound up targeted by the Gestapo. (That fell to pro-life activists and Trump supporters under the Biden administration.)

It’s not just in America....

They’re doing it again in response to this week’s election in Italy, which elevated Giorgia Meloni to be Italy’s first female prime minister. She identifies as a mother, a Catholic and an Italian and says she wants what’s best for the Italian people, not what serves the agenda of the Western gentry class.

This makes her . . . well, not Hitler exactly, but since it’s Italy, Mussolini.

Why calls for "wealth equality" via "participatory democracy" never work.

 Anyone who has ever been part of a group quickly finds out who the leader and decision-makers are.  They are the ones who make the proposals, who have an “iron bottom” and are willing to sit and talk until all hours.  And that’s how they get their way.  

That’s why a statement like:  “… increasing wealth equality will result in a society that is more decentralized, more multicultural, more participatory, more ecological, and will have “an electoral and media system that cannot be controlled by money.”  is nonsense on stilts.  

Decisions will have to be made about how a society functions and those decisions will be made by groups. Those groups will have leaders, and those leaders will run the show.  And suddenly we are in Animal Farm where the “leaders” - because they spend so much time “working for us” – need the good things in life.  The nicest places to live, the best food, medical care, transportation, exclusive resorts to rest because they work so hard, etc.   Just as Stalin and the Russian communists became indistinguishable from the Czars and the nobility of the system they overthrew.  

It’s amazingly similar to Academia and the US Government which rewards its thought leaders and  “public servants” so richly.

“If abortions aren’t safe neither are you,” one message read, accompanied by the circled “A” anarchy symbol.

The saying has been written at dozens of pro-life centers since the court’s intent to overturn the 1973 ruling was leaked in May.

So now the mask has dropped and, for the first time, the American people can see the modern Left in all its hateful, unadorned, vituperative, spiteful glory. Case in point: the announcement last week that the Department of Homeland Security—one of the excrescences of the Bush administration, cobbled together in its panic over 9/11—has created the "Disinformation Governance Board" in order to combat what it has, via its hitherto little-known Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, already dubbed "mis-, dis-, and mal-information." Otherwise known as alternative points of view, but shut up, citizen.

Obama's partisan 'disinformation' campaign

 Obama weighs in on tech censorship.  Like all dictators, he wants his views to prevail; his "truth" to rule.

To illustrate that, he cited a recent study by researchers who paid a group of regular Fox News watchers to watch CNN instead for a month. "These were not swing voters," Obama said. And what the researchers found was that at the end of the month, people's views on certain issues, like whether voting by mail should be allowed or whether electing Joe Biden would lead to more violence against police — on some of these issues, their views had changed by 5, 8, 10 points. These people didn't suddenly turn into liberals — I'm sure they still don't like me — but at the margins, they had reshaped their perspectives in meaningful ways."

There it is. Perhaps social media companies could do something similar. Perhaps they could play the role of the good guys, CNN, in changing the views of people who watch the bad guys, Fox News. Or, to be more open about it, perhaps they could play the role of Democrats in changing the views of Republicans. And for those who believe that is precisely what social media companies are already trying to do — well, perhaps they could do even more. That is Obama's vision. "Now is the time to pick a side," he said. "We have a choice right now: Do we allow our democracy to wither, or do we make it better? That is the choice we face."

Selling Censorship: Could the Twitter Board Trigger Shareholder Lawsuits Over ESG and Anti-Free Speech Policies?

 The Washington Post’s Max Boot declared that “for democracy to survive, we need more content moderation, not less.”

Former Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich went full Orwellian in explaining why freedom is tyranny. Reich insisted that “every dictator, strongman, demagogue and modern-day robber baron” pushed free speech to oppress people and that, while good for Musk, “for the  rest of us, it would be a brave new nightmare.”

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has maintained that he wants to steer the company beyond free speech and that the issue is not who can speak but “who can be heard.” The question, however, is whether shareholders will be heard by a Board that has decided to make censorship (or “content modification”) a critical goal of the company.

Orwellian.  Freedom is slavery. 

Twitter's Chickens Come Home to Roost

Elon Musk has reportedly attempted to purchase Twitter, and I have no idea whether his influence on the company would be positive or not.

I do know, however, what other media figures think Musk’s influence on Twitter will be. They think it will be bad — very bad, bad! How none of them see what a self-own this is is beyond me. After spending the last six years practically turgid with joy as other unaccountable billionaires tweaked the speech landscape in their favor, they’re suddenly howling over the mere rumor that a less censorious fat cat might get to sit in one of the big chairs. O the inhumanity!

A few of the more prominent Musk critics are claiming merely to be upset at the prospect of wealthy individuals controlling speech. As more than one person has pointed out, this is a bizarre thing to be worrying about all of the sudden, since it’s been the absolute reality in America for a while.

These ‘platform’-depriving mobs, these weeping millennials, are not content with simply not listening to Joe Rogan, or not buying Jordan Peterson’s books, or not watching Dave Chappelle’s specials (your loss). No, they want to make sure that nobody else can access such scandalous material, either. They are so arrogantly concerned with preserving their own moral purity that even the knowledge that Rogan’s podcast exists makes them feel uncomfortable. They consider it a pollutant to their virtue. They consider having to share the world with Joe Rogan to be an intolerable affront to the pristine moral condition they believe they live in. This is why some people have sworn to stop using Spotify if it refuses to excommunicate Rogan – because lurking behind wokeness there is the staggeringly narcissistic and borderline medieval conviction that any belief system that runs counter to one’s own must be exterminated. They require the scalps of wrongthinkers in order to feed their own moralistic hubris. Rogan is the sacrifice this hungry, conceited mob yearns for the most. It would sustain them for decades.

Chuck Grassley to DOJ: Explain Discrepancy In Application Of Law For BLM/Antifa vs. Capitol Rioters

National Democrats, up to and including the Biden administration, want you to believe that our government is so fragile that a couple hundred unarmed trespassers in the Capitol Building on January 6th posed a very real threat to our Republic.

Let that sink in.  They expect us to believe that our government was—literally—on the verge of collapse during those few hours.  Keep in mind that not one of the hundreds arrested, many of whom are still being detained, was armed.

The one and only person who died violently, at someone else’s hand, at the Capitol on January 6th was an unarmed Air Force vet, Ashli Babbitt, who was fatally shot by an as-yet unnamed Capitol police officer....

The latest leftist lie that the events at the Capitol on January 6th are the “worst act of political violence since the Civil War” is beyond laughable and aimed at the stupid, gullible, and uninformed (i.e. Democrat voters).  This historically-inaccurate hyperbolic nonsense is being peddled by everyone on the left from Joe Biden right down to the dregs of propagandist “journalism.”

The Democrats need to have a Reichstag moment in order to facilitate their shutting down of any and all dissent.  They need the events at the Capitol to be a crisis, and they need that crisis in order to justify expansive federal surveillance and persecution of their political “enemies” among the American people.

That “coup” and “insurrection” were just the ticket.  After all, who needs an actual crisis to declare a war on “domestic terror”?  Not the Dems because they have the media and Big Tech protecting this ludicrous lie that America was about to be undone by a ragtag bunch of selfie-takers.

Federal law enforcement don’t really care if the stinky commie hippies are the “enemy” or if normal Americans are.  Agency goals include, always, expanding power and control.  If that creeps into monitoring, surveilling, and ultimately persecuting Americans, that’s a win.

Our  federal government is currently waging a “war on domestic terror,” a “war”against non-woke American citizens who reject the racist, communist left’s divisive and destructive agenda.  That the events on January 6th were an historically minor incident that is dwarfed by (as but one example) Obama associate Bill Ayers’ Weather Underground setting off a bomb on the U.S. Senate side of the Capitol Building is beside the point.

Yet under the premise that a bunch of random, unconnected, unarmed people could actually topple our government, the FBI beclowned itself raiding an Alaska couple whom they well knew had never even entered the Capitol building, and the federal government is holding people for months on end who are guilty of, at most, trespassing.  Indeed, at least one man held in connection to the Capitol events was allegedly beaten so severely by jail guards that he is permanently blinded in one eye.

This is police state intimidation, it’s totalitarian political oppression, it’s banana republic political prisoner nonsense that is an absolute embarrassment and disgrace not just to the DOJ and FBI but to our entire country.

Meanwhile, BLM and antifa vandals, rioters, arsonists, and assailants are arrested and returned to the streets in record time.  Among the many people pushing bail funds for these violent criminals was then-senator and now VP Kamala Harris.

BLM and antifa criminals can literally commit arson, vandalism, assault, be filmed doing it, and be released the same day to continue their illegal activities.  Meanwhile, people who wandered into the Capitol on January 6th to take few selfies, and who didn’t set fire to or vandalize a single thing (or set up some crazy ‘autonomous zone’ that explicitly rejects U.S. government and law) are being held, beaten, permanently disfigured, and charged to the fullest extent of the law.

This disparate, blatantly unequal treatment of the Capitol Hill trespassers who are being persecuted not for actual crimes but for political purposes versus the criminal burning, looting, and murder by BLM and antifa throughout last summer (and continuing in Democrat-run cities to this day) is an outrage.
