The FAA is seeking people suffering from "severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities" to be air traffic controllers.

 The country currently is in the throes of an epidemic of mass insanity and irrationality. The manifestations of the disorder are too numerous to cite, but the explosion of the DEI plague being pushed by the government, many businesses, and the intellectual pigmies in most of the media, must be included in any list of the most egregious. As currently advocated and practiced by our leftist “elites,”1 it is incompatible with rationality, common sense, and morality, among other things, and, as the Wall Street Journal, not to mention the Supreme Court, have pointed out, the U.S. Constitution....

To understand how insidious and dangerous the FAA's DEI policies are, it is necessary to examine briefly just what air traffic controllers do and the nature of the job. ...

In short, the ATCs’ role is complex and stressful, sometimes requiring split-second life-and-death decisions. An error, inattention, or even hesitation can cost the lives of hundreds of people both in the air and on the ground....

So, what are the FAA's criteria regarding the people they want to hire?

As this article will show below, it does so by seeking to employ people who are clearly less qualified than the general applicant pool.  Less qualified, that is, unless you believe that the average applicant suffers from, for example, a “severe intellectual disability.”

The FAA makes clear the tribes that it includes in the Diversity Nation: It touts that it specifically “targets” for “special emphasis,” in both recruiting and hiring, people with disabilities in “hearing, vision, missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability and dwarfism.”

Wait.  It gets worse. Such disabled applicants get even more special treatment because they are eligible for preferential hiring. The FAA calls this “On-the-Spot hiring.” That is exactly what it sounds like – the FAA admits that it is a “non-competitive hiring method.” They are eligible for this non-competitive hiring even if their intellectual or psychiatric disability is “severe.”

They want your plane to be controlled by a blind, deaf, paralytic dwarf with epilepsy who is psychiatrically disabled.

 Colorado authorities arrested a 19-year-old suspect for allegedly planning to shoot up multiple schools in Colorado Springs.

The 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office on Thursday said the defendant, William Whitworth, who identified as "Lilly" and – according to a DA spokesman – was in the process of transitioning to female. ...

During questioning, Whitworth admitted to planning a school shooting, with the suspect's former middle school, Timberview, being a "main target," according to the affidavit. 

Arrest papers say deputies found a drawn layout of the school and a manifesto filled with "schizophrenic rants" and mentions of serial killers, politicians, and entertainers, including the Columbine shooters and former President Donald Trump.

Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas Is a Cheat -- Period

 

If you want one exemplar of the moral and intellectual chaos that characterizes the age in which we live, there are a number of candidates:

"Having fewer police leads to a decrease in violent crime" is one.

"Men give birth" is another.

But perhaps the most obvious moral and intellectual absurdity of all is the notion that Lia Thomas, a member of the University of Pennsylvania's women's swim team, won fairly in the team's recent meet against the Cornell University women's swim team.

You see, Lia Thomas was a man until two years ago, when he announced that she is really a woman.

...If Lia or any other biological male is allowed to compete against biological women, women's sports are rendered pointless and therefore unnecessary. The entire reason women's sports exist is to enable women to compete only against other women -- because males have innate physical advantages in virtually every sport.

Needless to say, Lia Thomas has broken numerous University of Pennsylvania women's swim records. In her 1650-meter freestyle win, Thomas beat second-place finisher and teammate Anna Kalandadze by more than 38 seconds.

That means that the women who had held those records no longer hold them. They have been stripped of their records because the University of Pennsylvania, like other universities, allows biological men to join women's swim teams. That is the ruling of the woke cowards of the NCAA, who have decreed that all women's teams, in all sports, must allow men to compete in women's sports. All a man has to do to compete against women is announce that he is a woman and take testosterone suppressors for a year.

Op-Ed: Your Freedom Is Not More Important Than My Fear Of Your Freedom

 

“Freedom!” It’s a common cry of the far-right and other ignorant troglodytes. They think it trumps everything as if saying, “You’re taking away my freedom!” is the end to any argument.

But we live in a society. That means we have to think about each other and that your freedom isn’t the most important thing of all. And one thing your freedom does not trump is how I’m deathly afraid of your freedom.

Yes, all your freedoms are scaring me and causing me to have to cower inside the bathroom in my apartment. Your freedom to have firearms. Your freedom to operate motor vehicles (especially really loud ones). Your freedom to do whatever you want during a pandemic when I’m really sure you’re going to give me the COVID. Should I be constantly terrorized by the thought of people out there being free? No, that’s oppression, and the government needs to put a stop to it.

And don’t even get me started on the freedom of speech. Online is now a scary, scary place because I am so afraid that people are out there able to say any lie they want... or things that aren’t exactly lies but are misleading... or things that aren’t misleading but just don’t need to be said because it’s mean. Should you be able to say whatever you want when it’s causing severe psychological harm to me because I hate you so much and don’t like what you’re saying? Of course not.

Now, I am all for freedom, but fun freedoms like being whatever gender you want—or swearing at Ted Cruz on Twitter. But when freedom stops being fun—when it scares me—that’s when it stops being free. Because your freedom has imprisoned us by how scared we are that you can just do whatever you want. That’s why we need government agents dressed in black to do something to you in the middle of the night so the rest of us can sleep better.

I can't read musical notation, but this is ridiculous

 

One of the things about living in a totalitarian society is that, once something has been identified as problematic, everyone ends up competing to attack in the most aggressive way. Fail to do so, and you may find yourself being the next person identified as problematic. Perhaps that explains why the University of Oxford, founded in 1096, is contemplating ending sheet music because it’s part of white supremacy.

To be honest, it’s a little bit hard to make sense of the story because it’s so screamingly stupid. Apparently, music professors are claiming that all Western classical music has “complicity in white supremacy.” This seems to include such composers as Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, and Handel, all of whom were living in continental Europe in the 17th through 19th centuries and none of whom had anything whatsoever to do with Blacks, Africa, or the slave trade.

The problem is that they and their musical notations existed at the same time as the African slave trade. And that’s not a typo ...

As I watch the endless waves of BLM stupidity in corporations and academic institutions in the English-speaking world, I’m reminded of nothing so much as the mourners at Kim Jong-il’s funeral. They knew that the secret police were watching and that anyone showing insufficient grief was at risk of being carted off to a concentration camp. That’s why you see videos such as the one below showing thousands of people engaged in hysterical weeping. Yes, they were told that their communist godhead had died, but what you’re seeing in these videos isn’t grief, it’s fear:

For 45 minutes, DiAngelo will deconstruct the pillars of whiteness such as being an individual and believing in nonsense like objectivity. She will explain that white people have 2 options: either admit they are racist or deny that they are racist, thus proving their racism.

“Arguing with this, staying silent, simply walking away, or even crying are all hard evidence of your racism,” says DiAngelo. “So the simple remedy to all of this is to admit it and sign up for my antiracist seminars.”

Princeton University Declared That It Was Thoroughly "Embedded" With Racism and White Supremacism. So the DOE Has Taken Them At Their Word and Opened a Civil Rights Investigation.

The Department of Education has informed Princeton University that it is under investigation following the school president's declaration that racism was "embedded" in the institution.

President Christopher L. Eisgruber published an open letter earlier this month claiming that "[r]acism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton" and that "racist assumptions" are "embedded in structures of the University itself."

According to a letter the Department of Education sent to Princeton that was obtained by the Washington Examiner, such an admission from Eisgruber raises concerns that Princeton has been receiving tens of millions of dollars of federal funds in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which declares that "no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

Has the pushback against Democrat overreach begun?

Yesterday, in London, I witnessed an eerie, chilling sight: I saw a death cult holding a ceremony in public.

The men and women gathered outside King’s Cross station and formed a circle. They swayed and chanted. They preached about End Times. ‘What will you do when the world gets hot, what, what?’, they intoned, conjuring up images of the hellfire they believe will shortly consume mankind. They sang hymns to their god – science. ‘We’ve got all the science / All that we need / To change the world / Hallelujah’, they sang, rocking side to side as they did so.

They demanded repentance. ‘Buy less, fly less, fry less’, said one placard. Catholics only demand the non-consumption of meat on Fridays, as an act of penance to mark the day of Christ’s death. This new religion demands an end to meat-consumption entirely, as penance for mankind’s sins of growth and progress.

And like all death cultists, they handed out leaflets that contained within them ‘THE TRUTH’. The leaflets foretell floods and fire: ‘We are in trouble. Sea levels are rising… Africa and the Amazon are on fire.’ The only word that was missing was locusts. They can’t be far behind these other ghastly visitations to sinful mankind.

And if you question their TRUTH? Then, like those heretics who were hauled before The Inquisition 500 years ago, you will be denounced as a denier. A denier of their revelations, a denier of their visions. ‘Denial is not a policy’, their placards decreed. Spotting me filming their spooky, apocalyptic ceremony, one of the attendees waved that placard in my face. A warning from the cult to a corrupted outsider.

 This is an upper-middle-class death cult and we should ridicule it out of existence.
