I can't say that I feel especially lucky these days.

Paul at Powerline makes the point made by many others in the blogosphere. We got lucky that the bomb at Times Square did not explode.

The Obama acolytes claim that catching the Jihadist before he escaped makes our anti-terrorism strategy a success. I applaud the police work but if the bomb had exploded, many of the clues that led the police to Faisal Shahzad would have been destroyed.

So we got lucky: the bomb did not go off and the Jihadist was apprehended. Do you feel lucky? Is that your strategy? Do you buy lottery tickets to pay off your credit card debt? If so, you have a job waiting for you in the Obama administration.
