Here is the NY Times reacting to the NRA ideas on school shootings:

Geez, I thought the idea was to ban high magazine clips. Well, layer upon layer of editor and fact-checker can't be wrong.
 

You would think that the editors of the NY Times would check with the armed bodyguards hired by the publisher about gun terms.  Guns are so far removed from their ken as to be alien objects.
