Marjorie Taylor Greene's Soap Opera Continues as She Seeks Restraining Order Against Democrat Staffer
Random: While not a particularly popular position with many on our side of the aisle, I am not a fan of Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, nor am I a fan of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) or Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.), but I digress.
Mike Miller writes for Red State, a site owned by the Salem Media Group, a media conglomerate that aims at a Conservative audience. Like many people in public life, they make a very nice living, and also like many elected official they are ready to stab their supporters in the back when they get what's in it for them.
This is the attitude that got Conservatives where we are today, hoping that the FBI doesn't come knocking because we said naughty words at a school board meeting.
I was once a big fan of William F. Buckley, but from the perspective of the 14 years since he died and left National Review to his Never-Trump heirs I must conclude that he and his ideas and methods now rest in the dust bin of history. He was the avatar of intellectual resistance to Liberalism and today the "culture" that rules America can't define what a woman is. And a cross-dresser is a was created a four star admiral in the Public Health Service.
And the man who told Black voters that Republicans were going to "put them in chains" (and we made fun of him because who would believe him?) is now President.
The Mike Miller approach to political activity got us where we are. Bless his heart.
