Wall Street's Message to OWS
Via Jim Treacher:
We are Wall Street. It’s our job to make money. Whether it’s a commodity, stock, bond, or some hypothetical piece of fake paper, it doesn’t matter. We would trade baseball cards if it were profitable. I didn’t hear America complaining when the market was roaring to 14,000 and everyone’s 401k doubled every 3 years. Just like gambling, it’s not a problem until you lose. I’ve never heard of anyone going to Gamblers Anonymous because they won too much in Vegas.
Well now the market crapped out, & even though it has come back somewhat, the government and the average Joes are still looking for a scapegoat. God knows there has to be one for everything. Well, here we are.
Go ahead and continue to take us down, but you’re only going to hurt yourselves. What’s going to happen when we can’t find jobs on the Street anymore? Guess what: We’re going to take yours. We get up at 5am & work until 10pm or later. We’re used to not getting up to pee when we have a position. We don’t take an hour or more for a lunch break. We don’t demand a union. We don’t retire at 50 with a pension. We eat what we kill, and when the only thing left to eat is on your dinner plates, we’ll eat that.
For years teachers and other unionized labor have had us fooled. We were too busy working to notice. Do you really think that we are incapable of teaching 3rd graders and doing landscaping? We’re going to take your cushy jobs with tenure and 4 months off a year and whine just like you that we are so-o-o-o underpaid for building the youth of America. Say goodbye to your overtime, and double time and a half. I’ll be hitting grounders to the high school baseball team for $5k extra a summer, thank you very much.
So now that we’re going to be making $85k a year without upside, Joe Mainstreet is going to have his revenge, right? Wrong! Guess what: we’re going to stop buying the new 80k car, we aren’t going to leave the 35 percent tip at our business dinners anymore. No more free rides on our backs. We’re going to landscape our own back yards, wash our cars with a garden hose in our driveways. Our money was your money. You spent it. When our money dries up, so does yours.
The difference is, you lived off of it, we rejoiced in it. The Obama administration and the Democratic National Committee might get their way and knock us off the top of the pyramid, but it’s really going to hurt like hell for them when our fat a**es land directly on the middle class of America and knock them to the bottom.
We aren’t dinosaurs. We are smarter and more vicious than that, and we are going to survive. The question is, now that Obama & his administration are making Joe Mainstreet our food supply…will he? and will they?”

What we're seeing here is Liberals finally expressing their opinion of black men and the main reasons they voted for a junior senator with no experience instead of Hillary Clinton. In the Liberal world race trumps gender. They voted for the black guy who made them feel good and now they feel liberated to express their racist views and project them on their opponents.
"A black man who knows his place?" Why yes, this black man belongs in the White House not because he is black but because his ideas and his philosophy is sound.

The Left Defends States Rights!
Ordinary garden variety hypocrites should hang their heads in shame; you have been outdistanced by the Liberals at the Virginian Pilot (but I repeat myself) who now claim the trophy as “Most Hypocritical” and retired it.
Remember how States Rights has always been characterized by the Left as a dog whistle for racism? That’s only until they find a state law that restricts its citizen’s rights under the second amendment to the constitution. All of a sudden, states’ rights are sacrosanct and who are those people in Washington to tell us what we can do to keep ourdarkies … uh enforce our restrictive … uh common sense gun laws from being overturned.
The next time you read some Left wing editorial writer talk about states’ rights as an argument for bringing back Jim Crow, trot out this delicious little tidbit of doublethink and laugh.

"And Glenn Beck is the Crazy One?"
That’s one side of what people want, right, cause that’s not the only thing people want. they also want to take the bank out of his fucking tower and string him up in the public square.. That’s not that’s not just the crazy left, that’s everyday folks talking about their experiences.
And here's Mediaite making fun of Glenn Beck:
In case you hadn’t heard, Glenn Beck isn’t a fan of the Occupy Wall Street protests. However, unlike some others in the media he isn’t just laughing them off as silly hippies. On the contrary, the protesters should be comforted to know that Beck respects them a great deal. In fact, he respects them enough to think that they’re this close to dragging rich people into the street and murdering them.
Now, whether the OWS gangs will actually hang bankers from lamp posts is still an open question and it looks as if the police are finally hearing from the neighbors and enough video is showing up on the Internet to show people just how how radical, how hateful, how despicable (and for the most part how stupid)these people are. But it's not for the lack of will and its not for the hatred that's exhibited by the core of the people who are responsible for organizing these rallies.
Just once I would like the media clowns with their multi-million dollar contracts and their compounds in the Hamptons who rhapsodize about the OWS gang get surrounded by the mobs, their precious necks fitted for nooses and their feet leave the ground, hung from a tree limb or a lamp post. That's how the French Revolution proceeded; the revolution always eats its young.

The Dirty Wall Street Crooks and the People They Give To.
Rajat K. Gupta, the highest-ranking corporate executive to become embroiled in a push to root out insider trading, was accused of leaking confidential information while serving as a director at Goldman Sachs and P&G.
And sure enough, he's a major Democrat donor.
We can only assume he didn't buy enough protection.

Well, look what's happening in Libya (Sharia the basis for law), Tunisia (Islamist party takes over), Egypt (Muslim Brotherhood/killing Christians), Afghanistan (Karzai sides with Pakistan in any conflict with the US), China ascending, Russia under Putin, supplying arms to Mexican drug cartels in an undeclared civil war and upcoming budget cuts gut the military.
This is a foreign policy mess on top of a domestic economic mess. The next president will have his hands full.
Obama Losing His Base
Better late than never. This is a significant drop since August when a majority of young voters (52%) approved of the way the president was handling his job, 42% disapproved. That is a net 26-point decline in two months."
Vehicle automation as a way to save gas.
Cars that drive themselves would not only save gas, but save lives and make people happier. Imagine telling your car where you want to go and it navigates itself. That’s not an impossible dream because the technology is near at hand. This, not cockamamie plans for windmills or super-expensive solar cells that only provide power when the sun shines, could have been a worthwhile way for the government to bring America closer to energy independence.
But no, the environmental movement is caught in a time warp, embedded like an insect in amber, in concepts that were developed decades ago and have never been updated or re-examined. If today an endless pool of pure oil were found in the middle of the Mojave Desert that burned with zero emissions, the Greens would still demand the that we proceed to power civilization with wind and sunlight. They will cling to that like Linus clings to his security blanket. There is nothing intellectual about it, it’s a psychological bond, and like substance abusers, most find it impossible to break.

Herman Cain tops Mitt Romney in latest CBS/NYT poll
CBS/NYT poll
Cain 25%
Romney 21%
Gingrich 10%
Paul 8%
Perry 6%
Cain is showing remarkable staying power despite an almost universal MSM attempt to marginalize him. Exhibit "A" today:

Here's the ad.
I suppose if you are a New York metrosexual and are more familiar with public homoerotica than with public smoking, you would consider the end of the video bizarre. Note how the image of the man smoking is followed by the image of Cain breaking into a grin. You are being treated to an inside joke. It works for people in flyover country and is totally lost on the beltway boys and the people who swarm in the media hive. They think Modern Family is edgy. They think Occupy Wall Street is revolutionary.
It's not.
By this time we've been there, done that and got the T-shirt.
Men smoking in a commercial for a political candidate is edgy. How can you tell? It outrages the media boys. It flips them the bird.
Their hero, Barack Obama, hides his smokes. Mark Block does what Obama's afraid to do.
While the media is writing stories about the inevitability of Mitt Romney, Herman Cain is breaking out of the pack, breaking the mold and the media don't understand it. He doesn’t fit the template in so many ways that they convince themselves that he's the flavor of the week. It's an illustration of the old adage that when theory and reality collide, ideologues discard reality.
Women for Campus Sex
A lesbian PhD candidate re-thinks campus sex.
Once upon a time, feminists were hot to trot … to ostracize male professors for sex with students. Now women academics have found the benefits of sex between students and faculty is positive and empowering. According to the new dispensation, the entire issue of campus rules against sex between students and faculty gets in the way of
“…being generally positive and reasonably friendly, arising out of mutual desire for sex and intimacy rather than an abuse of power by the teacher.”
What is a "moderate Islamist" party?
How do you define a “moderate Islamist “ party and who gives it this title?
We know what Jane Harman thinks of the election: It’s better than the elections in this country.
We know what Jane Harman thinks of the election: It’s better than the elections in this country.
Nine-term U.S. congresswoman Jane Harman, who helped lead a team of observers from the Washington-based National Democratic Institute, said the vote was "hands down the best, the most promising election I have ever witnessed, including those I have seen in the United States."What do we know of the party? It seems to have plenty of money, which in the Middle East is an indication that it’s bankrolled by the oil kings and sheiks.
If they are bankrolled by the Saudis, we can conclude that these “moderates” belong to the branch of Islam that brought us 9/11.Outside Nahda party's headquarters—a sleek, glass-fronted six-story building that dwarfs the more cramped and shabby accommodations of most of the country's other top political parties—victorious candidates greeted well-wishers on Monday.
"Our party is very clear, we are not a religious party,"said Islamist Nahda Party spokesman.
Party officials have suggested they will look to strengthen Tunisia's political and economic ties with fellow Arab-Islamic states in the region and perhaps legalize Islamic banking systems that proscribe interest and relies instead on fees.
Obama Brings USAJobs.gov In-House; Government Servers Crash.
This is the smartest bunch of people ever to occupy government office. From the WSJ Error: USAJobs.gov
Example:
A comment by a professional IT guy who has been called up to active duty:
Welcome visitors, please look around.
Americans in search of federal employment can go to a website called USAJobs.gov, which matches openings with applicants. Since 2004, the feds have outsourced the site's operation to Monster.com. Good call by whoever was in charge in 2004. Monster.com is the private company that pioneered employment websites and is today the largest job search engine in the world. There is a Facebook page on which frustrated job-seekers are complaining.
But 18 months ago the "smart" Obama Office of Personnel Management decided the federal government could do a better job of running USAJobs.gov. It spent some $6 million developing a new in-house version of the site, promising to improve the job-search experience. It unveiled its creation two weeks ago. It's a monster all right.
The volume of requests instantly crushed government servers, slowed the system and locked out thousands of applicants. Naturally, the site has a Facebook page. Naturally, the comment queue is boiling over. Examples:
"Why am I having to do the same search 3 times before anything shows up?" "Over one week now and I still haven't received my password reset email!!" "USAJOBS WEB SITE IS A DISASTER!" "I entered Delaware and got Germany jobs and all of the Forest Service."
Example:
still can't get through. I can't even get to my old profile to update anything. What's up with the new program? "Sorry to make you wait-if you try back in a few minutes, we should be good to go." At least this time it wasn't a blank page.Time after time a plaintive reply comes back from the Team Obama:
[name], please send us an email to outreach@opm.gov so we can help. Thanks!
A comment by a professional IT guy who has been called up to active duty:
I am a mobilized Army Reserve officer serving on active duty in a US-based headquarters. Before being mobilized I had a 20-year IT career in the productive sector. I am continually astonished and dismayed by how completely incompetent our IT support is. Anything they do (or try to do) is invariably slow, inefficient, and usually broken for long stretches. The people who work in IT support are a mixture - some are good and some are idiots, but none of them has anything like the work ethic expected in the productive sector, and nobody is accountable for anything. No productive sector company could ever tolerate our level of outages and stay in business. In any decent productive-sector company, these people would be fired in a heartbeat. Which is probably why they work here....And here's the real problem for disappointed job seekers, even if they get through they are unlikely to land a job. Why? The entire search is mostly eyewash designed to meet regulations for advertising the job openings. The people who are going to be hired are already waiting in the wings.
What the government does not tell you is, most of the openings posted on USAJobs are already filled. They are going through the search “EEOC” motions to check off a bureaucratic box and people who go through the laborious process of applying are SOL. I worked at a certain government agency while still in uniform and saw this first hand. It is a true waste of time and resources. But heck, it’s the federal government, its intentions that count, not results.
Welcome visitors, please look around.
Murtha in Scheme Funneling Funds to Benefit Friends, Ex-Staffers
Last week’s release of FBI documents finally put in writing what nobody had ever said on the record: The FBI suspected that former Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) and lobbyists close to him were running a scheme to funnel earmarks to sham companies and nonprofits to benefit the lawmaker’s friends and former staffers.
Read the whole thing.
Here's the infuriating thing:
The Justice Department had opened a criminal investigation into Murtha and some of the lobbyists in his orbit, a fact that never leaked while Murtha was alive.
In part, the probe never leaked precisely because he was alive.
The watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington filed a Freedom of Information Act request for Justice Department files on Murtha and other Members of Congress. Its requests have been denied for the living Members on the grounds that they have a right to privacy,
There was not just one instance of money being funnelled to cronies and assistants, but a whole network of companies, organizations and lobbying groups that collected payoffs. Need more evidence that it was all a grand Murtha money laundering scheme? The network disappeared when Murtha died.
So it seems that if the government doesn't want to prosecute a congressman or other public official, that person skates, and not matter how corrupt he is, he gets to die in bed as long as the Feds cover for him. That's a rather cozy arrangement.

The HONDAs (hypertensive, obese, non-compliant, diabetic, alcoholics)
PJ Tatler discusses the OWS "poor." Except they're not poor.
These are poor.
These are not:
Neither are these fit, bejeweled and spiritual at OWS
But they are dangerous because they can be made violent by the same groups that deprived them of education and morality.
These are poor.
These are not:
Neither are these fit, bejeweled and spiritual at OWS
They have been sold a bill of goods by a Liberal society, a Liberal educational system, a Liberal media and now they are coming face to face with reality and they have no way of coping. Instead they spout slogans that they have heard repeated in one college class after another by professors who took their money and cheated them of an education they thought they were getting. But in a peculiar way, those non-starving, non-homeless, non-refugee young people playing at being poor in cities across America have a point. They represent some very specific — and sad — types of poverty.
To begin with, there’s the sense of poverty created by utterly ludicrous expectations. We promised these kids that they were all “good enough, smart enough and, gosh darn it!, that everyone would like them.” We promised them that they were all number one, and that they would never need to make any actual effort to achieve that blue ribbon status. We taught them, through MTV and computer games, that a 3 minute attention span is sufficiently long to be awesomely cool and win the game. And, God help us, we taught them that a Womyn’s Studies, or Africana Studies, or GLBT Studies, or Oppressed People’s degree from some big name university would assure them the kind of job that would enable them to pay off $25,000 or $100,000 or even $250,000 in student loans. We, the older generation, created this wealth of stupidity.
But they are dangerous because they can be made violent by the same groups that deprived them of education and morality.
