We do ourselves and disservice when we deny what Muslims proclaim when they attack us.  It's an insult to common sense.  Hitler's Mein Kampf was an honest expression of his beliefs, and a accurate predictor of what he planned to do.  Why must we continue to delude ourselves when it comes to Islam?


James V. Schall, S.J. provides some excellent analysis.

After almost every shooting involving a Muslim perpetrator, from 9/11 to Fort Hood to San Bernardino, we hear, from the President on down, some version of the following on-going narrative: “We are horrified by this inexplicable, horrendous act. Our hearts go out to the victims. This atrocity again proves the need for more gun laws.” We then have a statement from some Muslim group; its spokesmen, often women, are also horrified. They had nothing to do with it; they knew nothing about it. They are concerned with retaliation. Next we have a solemn admonition from some government official assuring us that the Muslim community is peaceful, that we depend on loyal Muslims. This shooting, it is explained, was the product of a loner or two, usually a citizen of the place where the killings occurred. This insane action requires the attention of psychological health experts; ideology is mostly or entirely ignored.

Then ISIS or Al Qaeda announces that it is responsible for the killings, whether that is actually true or not. We almost always are led to conclude that this event is just another irrational act. As with earthquakes, no real explanation exists. Such things just happen; some human beings are nutty. Since similar acts now happen every other week, if not sooner; we have to be ready for them. We need to call in the FBI, federal agencies, more militarized police, community organizers, religious leaders, and psychiatrists. But the bottom line is that, though all religions are prone to violence, we are told these particular happenings have nothing to do with religion, especially not Islam. They are caused by “terrorism” and “violence”, as if these acts are somehow themselves independent ideological positions with no relation to the organizations that use them to foster their ends.

Is there another conceivable way to look at these events that comes closer to a more plausible explanation? The first step is that these atrocities all have a single ultimate origin. I do not mean some central command post in Syria ordering operatives today to go to Paris, tomorrow to San Bernardino, the next day you name it, though there may be that too.

The ultimate origin is found in the history of Muslim conquests from its beginning in the 7th and 8th centuries and confirmed by many passages in the Qur’an. Muslim scholars know that this jihadist approach is found within the religion. It is not an outside import; it is not an aberration. It may not be the only position found in this rambling book, but it is one that is there. This same force of spirit to convert all to Islam has abided for twelve hundred years. Yet, instead of grudgingly acknowledging it and dealing with it, we deny it exists.

Islam has no central authority. Passages in the Qur’an and its commentaries advocating holy war may be interpreted literally, symbolically, or poetically, but they are there. The reason why this jihadist inspiration always comes back to incite some Muslim believers is because it is found in the sources as the only true interpretation of Islam. ISIS members insist that their religious motives be taken seriously. This earnestness is what motivates them. We insult them, while at the same time playing into their hands, by refusing to understand what they say and, indeed, give witness to with their lives. It is those Muslims who have died killing in western cities--not those who are murdered--who are considered to be, yes, martyrs.

The so-called “Muslim terrorists”, then, do not think of themselves as “Muslim terrorists”. They consider themselves to be the only real followers of Mohammed. They see themselves as doing exactly what he and his first followers did in the saga of a rapid conquest of much of the African, Arab, and Middle Eastern worlds. The conquest of Europe would complete the stymied efforts at Tours and Vienna, victories that allowed Europe to remain Europe and not become Muslim much sooner. Moreover, jihadists have a perfectly intelligible explanation for what they are doing and how they are doing it. It is a sophisticated intellectual theory deftly designed to explain exactly why these “terrorist” acts are both legitimate and indeed praiseworthy in the eyes of Allah. The voluntarist metaphysics behind such reasoning is by no meant unfamiliar to western thinkers. And it is this intellectual battle that we are unwilling to or unable to fight.

Briefly, the assigned mission of Islam is to conquer the world for Allah. Submission to Allah is the highest human good. Any means to carry it out is good if it is successful. Carrying out this mission, in this view, is a Muslim’s vocation. With the re-establishment of the caliphate, this mission can now recommence. No other religion or its symbols, including ones more ancient than Islam, are allowed within its conquered territories. The fact that many individual Muslims may not agree with this interpretation is irrelevant. There are millions that do agree. But numbers are not the key factor.

Fear rules both the Muslim and western cultures that oppose the jihadists or are its victims. This fear is kept alive by methods of warfare, shrewdly applied, that utilize modern technology but rely on old and reliable techniques. Muslims fighters learned some time ago that modern weapons are not particularly effective against them. Slitting the throats of ten Christians on international TV is more effective than weapons of mass destruction, which they would also like to possess. We see that trucks and cars are often feared means of their warfare.

Thus, tanks and bombs are not particularly effective against individual and seemingly random attacks on enemy homelands. With local passports and cell phones, small arms, home-made bombs, and knives, any large western city can be brought to its knees for several days. It is something of a joke now to think that such things as the Transportation Safety mechanisms we have in airports make much difference. The downing of a Russian passenger plane may still happen, but attacking schools, buses, trains, churches, or just random individuals anywhere in the world will instantly be on international news with the usual disclaimers. Bringing down passenger planes may be an obsolete means in terms of effectiveness.

As long as we choose (and it is a choice) not to identify the problem the more it is successful and the more it will grow. That growth may indeed be the reason it is not identified. The deeper problem lies in the truth of Islam’s mission to conquer the world for Allah. If it is true, that is, if the Qur’an is a revelation of God, then it will eventually win. Even if it is not true or from God, as I do not think that it is, even in Christian apocalyptic terms, it may well win. If our view of the world is cast in terms of relativism, of diversity theory, of pacifism, we really have no clue about that is happening. One cannot but admire the logic and abiding persistence within Islam to continue its centuries-long, Allah-given mission to conquer the world.

One can speculate about why we cannot locate the problem, and therefore not face its real attraction for its millions of followers within Islam. In no actual Muslim country is there any real freedom of religion. Whenever and wherever possible, all or part of Muslim law is established as civil law. Many Muslim countries are “peaceful” only in the sense that their governments, usually military dictatorships, keep down that radicalism that would overthrow them and is overthrowing them in many places. Muslim masses wait to see who is winning. They know even within Islam that they cannot afford to be on the losing side.

The present strategy of ISIS and its followers seems clear enough. The following steps or remarks seem most plausible:

1) Gain control of governments and armies within present Islamic states.

2) Eliminate all Christian, Jewish, and related elements, including their buildings and records, from within existing Muslim states.

3) Place as many Muslims, especially young males, in European countries and other countries as possible.

4) Continue to produce large numbers of children so that demographic and democratic processes will provide increasing majorities on towns, cities, and nations.

5) Make every city and area on earth, from Mumbai to San Bernardino, the object of incidents of terror both on a systematic and random basis, preferably both.

6) Already more than enough followers are found in most western countries that are willing to sacrifice their lives to carry this project out in the coming years.

7) Create an atmosphere that makes it difficult to stem the Muslim conquest.

8) Undermine and convert to your use all police, and military operations left remaining to oppose a final conquest.

Granted the speed of the success, the confusion, and deliberate blindness of its opposition, ISIS and its sympathizers have a reasonable hope of final success at least in Europe and possibly America. Russia, China, and India may take longer. They will ultimately have to be dealt with. All three of these countries already have met Muslim invasions or turmoil. Their own nationalist or religious unity may prove more difficult to counter. They are, when provoked, less likely to stand by confused and relatively helpless.

And one last caveat, from Howard Kainz’ essay “Christians As ‘Soft Targets’”: “The combination of the surrender to modernism in the ‘developed world’ and Christians’ helpless exposure to violence and subjugation in Muslim-dominated regions leads to a possible alternative vision of Armageddon and victory: a final martyrdom of the Church.” The Church has no armies. Who will defend her?

Viewed from this perspective, removing weapons from the populace makes subjugation of the country much easier.  Makes you go "Hmmm" and ask why the Obama administration's focus after every attack is gun confiscation.

The closed minded Barack

Don't confuse him with facts, his mind is made up.

We have a president who is eager to put a racial frame around incidents in which white cops kills blacks, even if, as in the case of Officer Darren Wilson and Michael Brown, the shooting was justified and there was no evidence that it was racially motivated. No matter; the incidents fit into Mr. Obama’s worldview, and off to the races he went.

But in the case of jihadism, when the killers themselves are invoking the Koran and the Islamic faith to justify their malevolence — when the caliphate established in the heart of the Middle East is called the Islamic State — the president refuses to confront it. He goes into contortions to downplay or ignore the connection to Islam. He has a narrative to advance, and he will do it even if he has to run roughshod over reality to do it....

Here’s the problem: There is an independent reality apart from what Mr. Obama thinks. He can ignore the truth, but he cannot wish it out of existence. And by ignoring the reality of things, he makes everything worse. (It turns out that calling ISIS a “jayvee team” last year and declaring it “contained” a day before the massacre in Paris doesn’t make it so. Who knew?)

Mr. Obama is lost and confused, inhabiting a world of his own making. That would be bad enough if he was a community organizer; it is disastrous for a man who is president. America and the world are paying a terrible price because of the closing of Barack Obama’s mind.

Peter Wehner assumes, of course, that Obama doesn't want what's happening to happen.   That's not yet certain.

Calling for a moratorium on Muslim immigration “until our country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on,” Donald Trump this week ignited a firestorm of historic proportions.

As all the old hate words — xenophobe, racist, bigot — have lost their electric charge from overuse, and Trump was being called a fascist demagogue and compared to Hitler and Mussolini.

The establishment seemed to have become unhinged....

Set aside al-Qaida, ISIS and their sympathizers. Among the 1.6 billion Muslims worldwide are untold millions of followers of the Prophet who pray for the coming of a day when sharia is universal and the infidels, i.e., everyone else, are either converted or subjugated.

In nations where Muslims are already huge majorities, where are the Jews? Where have all the Christians gone?

With ethnic and sectarian wars raging in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Yemen, Libya, Nigeria and Somalia, why would we bring into our own country people from all sides of these murderous conflicts?

Many European nations — Germans, French, Swedes, Brits — appear to regret having thrown open their doors to immigrants and refugees from the Islamic world, who have now formed unassimilated clusters and enclaves inside their countries.

Ought we not explore why, before we continue down this road?

The mainstream media’s panties are on fire because Donald Trump suggested that perhaps we should put a moratorium on immigration from countries known to harbor radical Islamic terrorists. They (the press) are very angry at Trump, and (not astonishingly) not so mad about radical Islamic terrorism. It’s amazing.

I feel as though I’m a prison guard sitting outside the cell of an imprisoned America. I’m on Suicide Watch—and I’m watching as the country declines into complete ethnomasochism. We wanna die. It’s clear. I’m looking at America as we wrap the Red, White, and Blue around our necks and swing lifelessly—crudely carved into the wood ceiling: George Washington was here.

One week ago, two jihadists shot up a Christmas party, and less than a week later, we are all discussing the social implications of racism, prejudice, and Islamophobia. It’s embarrassing.

The Left is winning this battle, because we can’t talk about religion, we can’t talk about ideology; we can’t talk about anything without being called racists. I wonder why this terrorist chick had a baby. It’s entirely possible that she had the child to further hide—maybe to blend in, and to seem normal. I guess that’s just as goddamn American as eating apple pie these days.

Imagine if that’s true: A woman would carry a child to term, birth it, and care for it, right up until (on a whim) she decided to give it to grandma so she could go murder a bunch of infidels. That is extremely disturbing, and it looks more and more to be NOT true.

It seems as though this devout Jazeera decided long ago to be an agent of Allah. In all likelihood, this baby was a distraction and a prop just so she could do her jihad. She came here to kill. She got married to kill. She got pregnant to kill.

It’s now extreme and un-American to worry about this. Donald Trump may say things that are not eloquent, and that are perhaps crazy, but the rest of the press are still standing around, scratching their heads and wondering, “Could the San Bernardino suspects have been radicalized?”

The press isn’t that stupid. They know the answer and they’re all lying. The problem is that the answer is precisely not the one they’re searching for. The answer is that this is not a one-off event with nothing to do with an Islamic Supremacy. That is a fantasy narrative constructed by the Left and CAIR. No one is buying it.

Choose Your Fascism

If the only explanation for Trump's 'Islamophobia' is bigotry or mental deficiency a better one is needed to account for the data. A much simpler explanation for the fear which drives the Trump crowds is a loss of confidence in government assurances that they will keep the public safe.

As the blogger Ace of Spades put it, "think about this for a moment though. How many people who are deeply, deeply offended about keeping non-citizen Muslims out of the US think it's perfectly fine to force Christian bakers to provide a cake for same sex ceremonies? "

It is a false kind of hospitality that rolls out the red carpet to strangers only to direct them straight to the bugged room. It is a strange kind of anti-fascism that uses police state methods to enforce tolerance. We live in a world of "friends and neighbors" only rhetorically. In practice we are well on our way to creating a penitentiary.

Fear is natural in the world of ghosts the Western elites have created through their deceptions. They tell us not to worry but clutch at amulets and nostrums as if they were jumpy themselves. Rukmini Callimachi, writing in the New York Times, seriously argued that president Obama is basing his anti-ISIS strategy on an attempt to avoid fulfilling an Islamic prophecy which holds that "boots on the ground" would signal the last battle in which the infidel will be destroyed.

It is partly that theory that President Obama referred to in his speech on Sunday, when he said the United States should pursue a “sustainable victory” that involves airstrikes and supports local forces battling the Islamic State rather than sending a new generation of American soldiers into a ground offensive.

“I have said it repeatedly: Because of these prophecies, going in on the ground would be the worst trap to fall into. They want troops on the ground. Because they have already envisioned it,” said Jean-Pierre Filiu, a professor of Middle East Studies at Sciences Po in Paris, and the author of “Apocalypse in Islam,” one of the main scholarly texts exploring the scripture that the militants base their ideology on. ...

“To break the dynamic, you have to debunk the prophecy,” Mr. Filiu said. “You need to do so via a military defeat, like taking over Raqqa. But it needs to be by local forces — by Sunni Arabs.”

That so far has been the approach of the Obama administration, which has armed as well as provided air support to a number of militias in northern Iraq and Syria, hoping to give a local veneer to the tip of the sword. The result has been mixed, with gains only in areas that are outside the main Sunni Arab strongholds that the Islamic State controls.

Obama was brought up in Muslim countries and could very well be aware, and influenced by Muslim prophesy. Ridiculous? How many times have Christians been accused of supporting Israel because they believe in biblical prophesy about Armageddon and the second coming of Christ? The answer is, Lots. So it's an interesting hypothesis.

Ban guns. All guns. Get rid of guns in homes, and on the streets, and, as much as possible, on police. Not just because of San Bernardino, or whichever mass shooting may pop up next, but also not not because of those. Don’t sort the population into those who might do something evil or foolish or self-destructive with a gun and those who surely will not. As if this could be known—as if it could be assessed without massively violating civil liberties and stigmatizing the mentally ill. Ban guns! Not just gun violence. Not just certain guns. Not just already-technically-illegal guns. All of them.

And there you have it. You are not to be trusted with a gun because if you are not a killer now, you may become one.  If you are evil you can't have a gun; if you are not evil you can't be trusted with a gun because Phoebe Maltz Bovy doesn't want anyone to have guns. The how and he why is a detail that can be worked out and then the world will be at peace again.

What's interesting is not that Phoebe Maltz Bovy is a nutcase who doesn't use her screed to make the case that banning guns will actually, you know, make guns go away. What's interesting is that the "Enlightened" see the last year of the Obama administration as the last great opportunity to take guns away from the American people. And they can only do it by coming out of the closet and admitting their goal. As Obama has proven by not defeating Radical Muslim extremism, you can't achieve your goal unless you are willing to come out and honestly articulate your goal.

State Lawmakers Consider Pulling University Funding After Discovering How Much Money Is Being Spent on ‘Diversity’

The University of Tennessee at Knoxville’s faculty is scrambling as state lawmakers consider pulling taxpayer funding for the school’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion after it published controversial holiday party guidelines.

Scrutiny of the university’s diversity office was sparked — once again — after it published holiday season guidelines for employees that urged them to “ensure your holiday party is not a Christmas party in disguise.” The list, which was published on the University of Tennessee at Knoxville’s website, has since been replaced with three generic paragraphs that ask for those celebrating the holidays to be mindful of others.

The school official who published the guidelines has relinquished his control over the website, TheBlaze has learned.

In light of the published guidelines, Tennessee State Rep. James Van Huss introduced legislation to defund the Office of Diversity, saying that his constituents have repeatedly been alarmed over some of the things the office promotes. Van Huss first advised defunding the office over the summer when it published a guide urging employees to use gender-neutral pronouns such as, “ze, xe, xem, xyr, zirs and hirs,” when addressing students.

“This in no way reflects the values of my constituents,” Van Huss told TheBlaze in an interview Tuesday afternoon.

Van Huss said he was not opposed to having a diversity office on the UT system’s campuses in general but referred to an earlier press release from his office that called for more oversight and less taxpayer money.

“We had been trying to draft something that would leave the office in place but bring more oversight. However, after this latest action, it is clear that this taxpayer-funded department in no way reflects the values of Tennesseans,” he said in a press release provided to TheBlaze. “First, it was Sex Week, then the Gender Neutral Pronouns, now these recommendations to ensure ‘holiday’ parties have nothing to do with Christmas. What else has the Office of Diversity been doing with our tax dollars?”

Rush Limbaugh Has a Theory on How Donald Trump Is Actually ‘Playing’ the Media

“I tell you, folks, for all of you people who have complained and whined and moaned about the media over the years and how unfair they are to Republicans and how unfair that makes the whole process and ‘What are we gonna do?’ — you need to be studying Donald Trump,” the radio host continued.

Limbaugh’s comments come the day after the GOP front-runner called for a “total and complete shutdown of Muslims” entering the United States. And according to Limbaugh, comments like that from Trump are less about what he believes and more about driving the media “crazy.”

“This latest ‘outrage’ from Trump is a perfect example of how he plays the media — how he knows exactly what to do and how to do it to own their attention and airtime,” Limbaugh said. “He says things that he knows will drive them crazy.”

Limbaugh did, however, claim that Americans agree “to a certain extent” with what he says and that he’s the “only one” reaching that audience.

“Then he sits back and watches — no doubt with a huge smile — the media cover what he says over and over and over and over again,” the radio host said.

According to Limbaugh, Trump has received more airtime than any other candidate currently in the 2016 race for the White House — including the Democratic field, which Limbaugh describes as the “chosen field of the media.” Trump has even doubled Democratic rival Hillary Clinton’s airtime, receiving 234 minutes and 113 minutes, respectively.

Limbaugh questioned, “Why can’t the media touch the guy?”

“He says things over and over that he knows will drive [the media] insane, and then when they go insane, he doubles down on it and drives them even crazier,” Limbaugh concluded. “He also knows that his audience is in on what he is doing.”

We are all about the Constitution

Until Saudi Arabia is forcefully and directly confronted over its international financing of extremism, events like Paris and San Bernardino will continue and multiply. That’s a fact, however, that the president has yet to face up to; it goes against every fiber of his painfully politically correct world view. That world view, however, is getting Americans killed. The oath of office is clear about what the president’s overriding duty is:

Calling it "radical Islam" is a step in the right direction, but it's still wide of the mark.  I grant you that by modern Western standards, mass murder is radical.  But why do we deny what the Islamists themselves proclaim about their faith?  Who are we to tell them what they believe?  If this were a college campus, Yale for example, that would rightly be called cultural imperialism and those who use these terms would be told to check their privilege.  Call it them what they are: devout Muslims.  

That gives us the moral clarity we need.

Virginian Pilot ignores the grief stricken families, according to them the REAL victims were Muslims

My local Pravda - the Virginian Pilot - spent scant attention to the grief of the victims of the devout Muslims who killed 14 people in San Bernardino last week.  Instead it devoted lots of space to what it considers the REAL victims of Jihad: Muslims in the U.S.  

It had a three columns with the headline: From Coast to Coast, American Muslims find new resentment.    It describes the horror that was a zoning meeting in Fredricksburg at which someone said that "no one wants your evil cult."  It surprised Samer Shalaby, trustee for the Islmaic Center of Fredricksburg, and engineer by day.  I was surprised too.  Most Americans have been so cowed by political corectness that "If you see something, say something" has been changed slightly to "If you  see something, say nothing."  That was the advice followed by the resident of San Bernadino who noted a number of Middle Eastern men going in and out of the home of the devout Muslims who later massacred their neighbors.  

A second article focuses on the inevitable "backlash" that the press always predicts but never seems to happen.  San Bernardino Mourns its Dead, Calls for Unity, Not Rancor."  After a passing reference to the 14 killed by the devout Muslim couple the reporters focus on the "terror" that Muslims are facing.  It seems the pressing question is who radicalized who and what their motives could possibly have been.  To the Liberal mind, it's all a great mystery.  Despite 26,000-and-counting acts of Islamic terrorism throughout the world since 9/11/2001 the members of the press are still puzzled that devout Muslims would take the teachings of the Koran literally and kill infidels.  

And then they run this cartoon, accusing the media of wild speculation.  The cartoon is ambiguous enough that you are not quite sure if it refers to the media's frantic attempts to assign the blame for the massacre to the NRA, anti-abortion groups, the Constitution, Christians who offer prayers for the victims and their families, or even one of the victims. One thing the media did not want to do was speculate that the killers were Muslim.  Which is why the dead and their families are now disappearing and Muslims are now being brought forward as the real victims.

You can't force people to see things they don't want to see.  Liberals are in denial about the evolution of the current state of Islam.  Even as hundreds of thousands proudly proclaim their allegiance to Islam and go on Jihad, Liberalism calls them liars.  Instead, they have created a new brand of Muslim, one who practices not Islam but "terrorism," a-creed-that-has-nothing-to-do-with-Islam.

The irreligious are defining the religion of the religious.  It would be funny if it were not so dangerous.

This Liberal and his wife killed 14 people and wounded 21 more.

When asked to name the “most important thing in a relationship,” Farook said his partner would need to be “guided by and as written in Islam.”

One thing it tells me is that some very important people supporting Jeb are not Republicans, certainly not people of the Right.  Say what you will about Trump, he’s loud, he’s crude and rude.  But he’s light years to the right of Hillary.  In fact the territory to the right of Hillary includes both moderate middle, working class Americans and the Conservative Right.   

I can understand some Republicans disliking Trump; in fact most of the nominal Republican scribes and talking heads don’t like Trump.  

Some think he’s a stalking horse for Hillary.  Others oppose him because they believe he’s doomed to lose the general election if he becomes the Republican nominee.  Still others believe he’s not a True Blue conservative.   For all of those reasons, some people who likely vote for a Republican would may sit out this election.  That’s what happened in 2012 when lots of nominal Republicans couldn’t vote for Romney.  

But I don’t think that they voted for Obama.  Which is why Jeb’s billionaire money man’s announcement that he would vote for Hillary was such a revelation.   It shows that Jeb, the standard bearer for the Republican establishment, really represents the Ruling Class.  For the Ruling Class, ideology is a dirty word; power and access to power is what elections are about.  It’s another reason to make sure that Jeb is not the Republican nominee.

How politically correct of them.

What segment of the American people did not immediately think of Muslims committing Jihad when we first heard of the mass murders in San Bernardino?  It’s not as if it’s an isolated case.  The Religion of Peace is keeping track even if the media is averting its eyes.  Or treating it as casually as they do the daily slaughter in the Black neighborhoods of Chicago.   Paris, Beirut, Chad, Iraq, Nigeria, Afghanistan,  Central African Republic, Yemen  .... this list goes on.  Over 26,000 attacks since 9/11/2001.  In the U.S. we have had a small number of murders and attempted murders.  For those who don't remember:   SEVEN ISLAMIC TERRORIST ATTACKS IN USA IN SEVEN YEARS FOR OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

But we were warned by our security services and Islamic terrorist have promised to come to our shores.   Yet the Obama Administration and the Liberal establishment continues to tell us how successful they have been and how safe we are.  Feel safe now?

The San Bernardino attack is practically a textbook case of Islamic terror.  

• Mass shooting by hooded killers at a soft target, check.  
• Indiscriminate killing for purposes inspiring fear or terror, check. 
• Nothing personal, you're just part of the crowd, check. 

The only things missing were shouts of “Allahu Akbar” while their victims were being killed and that none of the killers were named Mohammad.    

For years since 9/11 students of Islamic terrorism have been warning about this kind of attack in the U.S.  We have seen similar attacks throughout the world, most recently in Paris.  The presumed target is always soft and a place where people congregate.  Many of the predictions assumed that the target of Muslim Jihadis would be a crowded shopping mall or a sports stadium.  So far, many of the devout Muslims who carry out these attacks in the U.S. are not terribly sophisticated, a beheading here, an ambush shooting there.  This time they were prepared with guns, ammunition and bombs.  They saw an opportunity, a large Christmas party of fellow workers, and decided that this was good enough for a first strike. 

It was only the Liberal part of America, represented here by the members of the media, who wanted fervently to place the blame elsewhere, anywhere, except the obvious.  Building on the narrative that anti-abortion rhetoric was responsible for the shootings in Denver, some hoped it would be a Planned Parenthood attack, noting that an abortion clinic was only 1.3 miles away.  CNN, HuffPo, MSNBC Rush to Connect Shooting to Planned Parenthood.

They “knew” that it had to be some crazed Right Winger.  If he were a Tea Party member who supported Donald Trump it would be icing on the cake and a confirmation of their fervent desires.  A few got ahead of themselves.

Despite the fact that California has enacted all of the gun control laws that a Liberal could love, they immediately began blamed guns rather than the people who used them, calling for more gun laws.

But back in Realville.  Most Americans who were not Left wing ideologues knew that this was terrorism in the name of Islam almost from the start.    Yet even today, the media and other Liberals will not – or dare not – speak the truth.  It's terrorism-that-has-nothing-to-do-with-Islam.   And if you disagree, if you take the devout Muslim Jihads at their word you're a bigot, racist, nativist hater who is afraid of women and little children

I've had a visitor the last few weeks, my older sister.  She was born in the Netherlands and was a teenager when Hitler invaded her country.  She sees many ugly similarities between America and Europe today and those terrible years of occupation.  The Netherlands has a long history of classical Liberalism, Libertarian-ism and soft Socialism.  America’s Pilgrims first came to the Netherlands from England to freely practice their religion.  Soft drugs have been legal in the Netherlands for decades, as is prostitution.  Euthanasia is legal and widely practiced while guns are virtually unavailable to everyone except criminals.  

The Occupation has shaped my sister's views of history and current events.  While stories abound of heroic struggles by extraordinary people against the Nazis in the occupied countries, the vast majority kept silent and tried to get on with their lives.  Few spoke out when the Jews were rounded up and sent to their deaths.  They knew that speaking the truth was dangerous.  In the Netherlands you could be denounced by members of the NSB (National Socialist Beweging) – Dutch Nazi sympathizers.  That kind of mind control is evident in Europe and America today.  That's evident in the Virginian Pilot headline.  People who are not afraid to speak the obvious don't wait for the FBI  to call an act of terrorism for what it is.  Must we be afraid to say what's paralyzingly obvious until a government agency gives us permission?  Or are the editors of the Virginian Pilot really that oblivious to what's going on around them?  

You are not going to get rounded up for expressing your support for the Constitution, or for publicly worrying about Muslim terrorism.  But the threat is there because the Liberal media will savage you.  And if you say it loudly enough, the Obama Justice Department under Loretta Lynch will come calling.  So like a good Dutchman under Nazi occupation, it’s best to keep quiet, to keep your head down and hope that this too shall pass.   

Except this time, there is no America who will liberate you from the occupation.  Because the occupation has come to America.

Mecosta County District Court Judge Peter Jaklevic is a former career prosecutor, like all righteous judges, and knows the purpose of jurors: to convict like they're told.

So when Keith Wood — a wild-eyed former pastor and current lawless anarchist — began distributing seditious incitement to destroy the judicial system, Judge Peter Jaklevic knew just what to do: arrest him.

A 39-year-old former pastor was arrested and jailed in Mecosta County after he handed out fliers informing people about jury nullification in front of the county courthouse.

Keith Wood said he was handing out pamphlets from the Fully Informed Jury Association on Nov. 24 while standing on the sidewalks along Elm Street.

The Fully Informed Jury Association, and idea-terrorists of its ilk, promote the dangerous notion that Americans selected for jurors have a right — even an obligation — not just to follow the orders of judges, but to exercise their conscience and judgment in evaluating the state's exercise of power over individuals. Such incendiary nonsense threatens the very premise of our justice system, which is that jurors will act as obedient foot soldiers in the government's glorious and righteous efforts like the Great War on Drugs.

University: Your holiday party cannot be a Christmas party in disguise

If you plan on having a Christmas party at the University of Tennessee be sure to leave the Baby Jesus and Santa Claus at home.

The taxpayer-funded university’s Office for Diversity and Inclusion recently released an “unofficial” edict calling for the campus to host holiday parties that do not emphasize religion or culture.

Not "Workplace Violence"

The was some speculation, mostly on the Left, that the Farooks went on their murderous rampage because of an argument they got onto during a Christmas party, leaving,  only to come back to shoot and kill the people there.  It's a way of shifting the blame to racist, bigoted American society.  This was a return of the ridiculous claims of "workplace violence" as the Ft. Hood shootings were labelled by the Obama administration.  Naturally, one proponent is Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States.

The evidence against this includes the preparation that went into this murderous rampage: the stockpiling of weapons, ammunition, body armor and clothing.  And now there is evidence that the Farooks began covering their tracks days before the shooting.

The Muslim husband and wife behind the mass shooting in San Bernardino began erasing their digital footprint a day in advance of the deadly attack, deleting email accounts, disposing of hard drives and smashing their cellphones, according to law enforcement investigators who are treating the probe as a counterterrorism case.,,,

But fresh details continued to emerge about the background of the two — supporting the notion that the attack was planned and not a spur-of-the-moment response to a party snub or quarrel.

The couple had a 6-month-old daughter, who was left in a relative’s care before they stormed the Inland Regional Center bedecked in tactical-style clothes and spraying 75 rounds into the conference room.

Three pipe bombs configured as one large explosive device were recovered from the center. Police also found bomb-making materials, 12 pipe bombs and more than 4,500 rounds of ammunition inside the couple’s home.

Farook and a co-worker did get into a dispute about the nature of Islam ...

Ms. Stephens said she happened to call Mr. Thalasinos while he was at work and having a discussion with Farook. She said Mr. Thalasinos told her that Farook “doesn’t agree that Islam is not a peaceful religion.”

Farook was right, Thalasinos was wrong as was amply demonstrated on December 2nd.  

Whose side are Muslims on?

This morning on Fox and; Friends I listened to a woman discussing the massacre in San Bernardino by a devout Muslim, Syed Rizwan Farook. The conversation went well until she recounted how she discussed the murders committed by Farook and his wife with a close Muslim friend who said that these kinds of acts do not represent his religion, and he denounced them. She indicated that this disavowal is what more Muslims should do. 

I disagree.

That’s not good enough. It is not good enough for CAIR to call a news conference to denounce this violence and say it’s not the Muslim way. It’s not enough to offer an apology and say it doesn’t represent the billion Muslims who are peaceful. 

 Muslims must do more than pay lip service.

Syed Rizwan Farook was a member of the Muslim community, a community that knew more about him than they let on. They would know when one of their members begins to act suspiciously. They would know if he buys guns, thousands of rounds of ammunition and body armor. They would know if he begins to talk about Jihad or shows a preference for ISIS. They know if he travels to the Middle East and comes back radicalized. They can see the warning signs, yet they keep quiet. Farook was not on the FBI’s terror suspect list. Farook and his wife were all in the Muslim family. He was a member of the “tribe.” The rest of America is not part of the tribe.

Meanwhile the non-Muslim community has been brainwashed into silence lest they be accused of racism.

From CBS Los Angeles: “A man who has been working in the area said he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to racially profile those people.”

If people who oppose abortion keep silent about one of their number who talks about shooting up an abortion clinic, he would not be shielded by this kind of tribal solidarity. There are no religious texts or cultural imperatives that compel a "abortion activists” to shoot up Planned Parenthood clinics.

The Koran is different. Muslims are held to a different standard. Many American think that all that “Good Muslims” need to do to distance themselves from Muslim killers is to say that the killers don’t represent their religion. That’s a lie. It’s a cheap cop-out and a willful misinterpretation of reality. The fact is that the Muslim killers believe they are acting out the beliefs of their religion. Those who have studied the Koran agree; Jihad is what the Koran teaches. It’s Muslims that don’t enforce the edicts of the Koran who are the apostates from fundamental Islam. 

 I happen to believe that Muslim apostates are in the majority. I hope I’m right. We’ll know based not on the number of verbal denunciations of Islamic terror but on whether Muslims act to stop it.

What we know about Jihad in America and what can we do

Let's see what we know for sure.  Armed shooters enter crowded facility and kill or wound over 30 people.  Wear masks to hide identity.  Tip results in chase of suspects.  Gunfire erupts between suspects and police, two suspects killed.  Suspects identified as having Arab names.

From this we can infer: Armed Arabs enter soft target and commit mass murder. 

Isn't this what people have been expecting if Jihad comes to America?  The only difference between this event and the feared scenario is that the "soft target" is usually assumed to be a shopping mall.

The Left's policy prescription to this is to take away everyone's guns except the police.   The Right's is to restrict the importation of more Arabs and to come up with a plan to identify individuals who are potential home grown Jihads.

Which prescription you think is apt to reduce more acts of this type is going to be based on your ideology.

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Fourteen people were confirmed killed and 17 more wounded in a mass shooting at a San Bernardino community social services building.

“We do have some preliminary numbers of upwards of 14 people that are dead and upwards of 14 people that are injured,” said Chief Jarrod Burguan of San Bernardino Police. The number of injured was later upped to 17.

At least 10 of the injured are reportedly in critical condition.

CBS News confirms one of the suspects is named Syed Farook, an American citizen. One of the other suspects is reportedly his brother.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Farook was a former business taxes representative for the California State Board of Equalization. He is a 2003 graduate La Sierra High School. The report also said Farook recently studied finance at California State University Fullerton until 2013.

Farook, 28, was currently an inspector for the San Bernardino County Environmental Health department and was attending the meeting/luncheon at the center. At some point, he was apparently asked to leave. It was unclear why.

The deceased female suspect has been identified as Tashfeen Malik, 27. She and Farook were married for two years.. The two had a 6-month-old baby daughter. KCAL9’s Elsa Ramon said the pair dropped the baby off to a grandparent and said they had a dentist appointment.

UnitedHealth CEO regrets entering ObamaCare

The CEO of UnitedHealthCare on Tuesday said he regretted the decision to enter the ObamaCare marketplace last year, which the company says has resulted in millions of dollars in losses.

“It was for us a bad decision,” UnitedHealth CEO Stephen Hemsley said at an investor’s meeting in New York, according to Bloomberg Business.

ELIZABETH — A recent Kean graduate has been charged with being responsible for a series of tweets threatening black students at the school two weeks ago, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park announced Tuesday.

Kayla-Simone McKelvey, 24, of Union – a black alum who graduated in May – was charged by summons with third-degree creating a false public alarm.

Park said an investigation by the Union County Prosecutor's Office's Special Prosecutions Unit and Kean University police found that McKelvey, a self-proclaimed activist, participated in a student rally to raise awareness of racism on college campuses on Nov. 17, but left midway through and walked to a computer station in a university library.

Once there, McKelvey allegedly created an anonymous Twitter account – @keanuagainstblk – and began posting threats of violence against black Kean students.

The first message around 10 p.m. said "kean university twitter against blacks is for everyone who hates blacks people" and a tweet about there being a bomb on the campus, and then continued with several other tweets about shooting black students at the university.

After making the posts, McKelvey returned to the rally and attempted to spread awareness of the threats, authorities said.

But it’s difficult. And so I think that as the science around climate change is more accepted, as people start realizing that even today you can put a price on the damage that climate change is doing -- you go down to Miami, and when it’s flooding at high tide on a sunny day and fish are swimming through the middle of the streets, there’s a cost to that. Insurance companies already are beginning to realize that in terms of how they price risk. And the more the market on its own starts putting a price on it because of risk, it may be that the politics around setting up a cap-and-trade system, for example, shifts as well.

I keep hearing that mass murderers in the US are white; then I ran into this list and decided to investigate (you can't believe everything you read on the Internet.

The D.C.snipers targeted white people, they were black.

Colin Ferguson who shot 23 commuters killing six of them, in the infamous Long Island railroad massacre, is black.

The Ministry of Jesus Christ Church massacre in Baton Rouge where a man walked into the church during services and killed 4 people and then abducted his wife and killed her, the killer is Anthony Bell, a black man.

The Fort Hood massacre that killed 13 people and injured over 30 by Nidal Malik Hasan

Seung-Hui Cho, a senior at Virginia Tech, shot and killed 32 people and wounded 17 others in two separate attacks (another six people were injured escaping from classroom windows), approximately two hours apart, before committing suicide.

The Atlanta Spa massacre was done by Jeong Soo Paek

The IHOP massacre in Carson City, Nevada was done by Eduardo Sencion from Mexico

The Hartford Distributors massacre in Connecticut that killed 8 people was done by Omar Sheriff Thornton, a black man

The Coffee Shop massacre in Washington, where 4 police officers were gunned down by Maurice Clemmons, a black man

The the American Civic Association immigration center massacre in Binghamton, New York, where 13 people were murdered and four others wounded was done by Jiverly Antares Wong

The Kirkwood city Council massacre in Kirkwood, Missouri, where 6 white people were murdered by Charles Lee "Cookie" Thorton, a black man.

The Navistar massacre in Illinois that left 4 people dead was committed by disgruntled ex-employee William D. Baker, a black man.

Anoinette Frank, an off duty police officer who committed the mass murder at the Kim Anh Vietnamese restaurant, where she executed 3 people. They later found the skeleton of her father buried under the house with a bullet hole in his head. Anoinette Frank is a black woman.

The Xerox massacre in Honolulu Hawaii that killed eight people was done by Byran Koji Uyesugi.

Caltrans massacre in Orange County, California where four people were murdered was done by disgruntled worker Arturo Reyes Torres.

The University of Iowa massacre, where five people were murdered was done by Gang Lu.

The Fort Lauderdale revenge massacre, in Fort Lauderdale Florida where five people were murdered was done by disgruntled ex-employee Clifton Mcree, a black man. In a semi-coherent suicide note he left behind, McCree said the shootings were "to punish some of the cowardly, racist devils".

But every one of these stories is true based on newspaper reports.

It kind of makes you wonder what kind of bubble wrap the parents of these clammy, entitled, bleating cry bullies have been wrapping them in. Pink. Large bubbles. Lined with fur. And maybe binkies and a soft blanky.

So what if we just stopped catering to these fragile flowers?

What if every time a whiny douche weasel gets publicly chafed labia over the names of Mars’ moons being too violent, we oblige by changing Phobos and Deimos (Fear and Terror) to the even more frightening Sanguis and Decollatio (Bloodshed and Beheading)?

What if the next time some entitled millennial complains about facing the same problems the rest of us face in life, but blames it on being a “person of color,” because mommy and daddy aren’t as able as those privileged whites to throw money at them like white parents supposedly do, we issued them a white, redistributionist liberal who agrees with their philosophy, if they promised to leave the rest of us alone?

What if the next time a BLM protester physically assaults a white student on a college campus by pinning her against a wall, while screaming hateful, racist epithets such as “filthy, white bitch,” the white student throat punches that screeching cunt so hard, her vocal cords fall out of her ass? Would they get the message that their color, their alleged “plight,” and their grievances do not excuse physical assault and will be returned in kind?

This past week, I actually had a student come forward after a university chapel service and complain because he felt “victimized” by a sermon on the topic of 1 Corinthians 13. It appears that this young scholar felt offended because a homily on love made him feel bad for not showing love! In his mind, the speaker was wrong for making him, and his peers, feel uncomfortable.

I’m not making this up. Our culture has actually taught our kids to be this self-absorbed and narcissistic! Any time their feelings are hurt, they are the victims! Anyone who dares challenge them and, thus, makes them “feel bad” about themselves, is a “hater,” a “bigot,” an “oppressor,” and a “victimizer.”

I have a message for this young man and all others who care to listen. That feeling of discomfort you have after listening to a sermon is called a conscience! An altar call is supposed to make you feel bad! It is supposed to make you feel guilty! The goal of many a good sermon is to get you to confess your sins—not coddle you in your selfishness. The primary objective of the Church and the Christian faith is your confession, not your self-actualization!

So here’s my advice:

If you want the chaplain to tell you you’re a victim rather than tell you that you need virtue, this may not be the university you’re looking for. If you want to complain about a sermon that makes you feel less than loving for not showing love, this might be the wrong place.

If you’re more interested in playing the “hater” card than you are in confessing your own hate; if you want to arrogantly lecture, rather than humbly learn; if you don’t want to feel guilt in your soul when you are guilty of sin; if you want to be enabled rather than confronted, there are many universities across the land (in Missouri and elsewhere) that will give you exactly what you want, but Oklahoma Wesleyan isn’t one of them.

At OKWU, we teach you to be selfless rather than self-centered. We are more interested in you practicing personal forgiveness than political revenge. We want you to model interpersonal reconciliation rather than foment personal conflict. We believe the content of your character is more important than the color of your skin. We don’t believe that you have been victimized every time you feel guilty and we don’t issue “trigger warnings” before altar calls.

Oklahoma Wesleyan is not a “safe place”, but rather, a place to learn: to learn that life isn’t about you, but about others; that the bad feeling you have while listening to a sermon is called guilt; that the way to address it is to repent of everything that’s wrong with you rather than blame others for everything that’s wrong with them. This is a place where you will quickly learn that you need to grow up!

This is not a day care. This is a university!
