The Rick Moran problem.

The country has a Rick Moran problem.

Rick Moran has a column in PJ Media, generally considered a right-leaning source. He recently wrote about Stephen Miller’s appearance with Chris Wallace. Moran called the interview “contentious” and accused Miller of seeking to “alter the media narrative” about the call President Trump made to Ukrainian President Zelenski. 

There is no question that Moran is right. Because the media narrative is a lie.  And making a desire to correct the media narrative an accusation is to make the implicit assumption that the media narrative is the correct one.  That's the Rick Moran problem. 

Here's the essential Moran problem, pre-emptive surrender. Putting up a white flag before a shot is fired; classic Cuckdom.  It is emblematic of the losing Republican position.  The media sets the narrative and Republicans bleat "I'm not .... whatever the Democrats accuse me of."  The classic loser posture of cowering in the face of the people who hate you and want you slinking away in fear.

Moran writes: To my mind, it isn't a question whether Trump was putting pressure on Ukraine to get dirt on Joe Biden and his son. He was.

In the Wallace interview Miller directly refutes Moran’s point. “Digging up dirt” implies a nefarious motive. Is it uncovering the facts or a quest for the truth? Is a detective investigating a murder suspect “digging up dirt?” Is trying to find out why the son of the Vice President got paid several million dollars for a no-show job a not-so-subtle bribe of a high government official?

Here's more of the Rick Moran problem.  From Moran's perspective, Trump is presumed guilty of whatever crime his enemies accuse him.  From Moran's perspective, he's not trying to drain the swamp.  He's not the chief law enforcement officer seeking to root out corruption at the highest level; he's a sleazy politician "digging up dirt" on a political opponent.   In Moran's mind it's not even a question; it's his default position and I doubt if there are any facts that will shake that position.

This is why Washington DC is a hot mess of corruption.  Why politicians of modest means arrive in this cesspool of corruption  and leave wealthy.  It's why Hillary knew she could get away with soliciting bribes to her foundation and erasing the evidence on her computer.  It's why the Bidens were able to get Ukrainians to pay millions and the Chinese to make billion-dollar deals with barely a fig leaf to cover up their play-for-pay scam.  Republicans and their few "friends" in the media are really not interested in changing things.  They want to get in on the action.  Offer Rick Moran a column in the NY Times or the Washington Post and he will write column after column denouncing Trump and the people who voted him into office.  If you doubt this you have only to read the "conservative" columnists like Max Boot or Jennifer Rubin in either paper.

Let’s say that instead of Hunter and Joe Biden, we have Jimmy and James Smith. Jimmy gets a no-show job working for a Ukrainian company while James Smith is a Senator who can steer a lot of aid to Ukraine. Does that sound like there is a huge conflict of interest and that the Smith family is being bribed in a pay-to-play scheme? Other than the Biden name what did Burisma receive for the millions it paid Hunter Biden?  What US Government policy was affected?

And keep in mind that the Biden corruption issue was not the first thing that President Trump talked about when he asked for a favor: it was Ukrainian involvement in the 2016 election that held Trump's primary interest.  That’s an issue that the Left wants no one to investigate.

I prefaced my remarks by referring to the Rick Moran problem. The problem is the fence-sitters. The problem is those who want to cut the baby in half. The problem is that there are too many people who are comfortable enough with the Deep State that they will echo their talking points. In every period in history the majority will always try their best to get on with their lives. They want no trouble.  These are often referred to as the "good Germans." It’s almost always safer to stay out of the line of fire, especially if you don’t know who’s going to win. And keep in mind the forces arrayed against Trump have a long, long record of winning.

It’s also the reason that there are so many Rick Morans.

John Durham’s Ukrainian Leads: What the prosecutor has found may be quite different from what the Democrats are looking for.

True, much media and political effort has gone into sometimes close and often willful parsing of President Trump’s July 25 conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky —ironic when you consider Mr. Trump’s well-known linguistic promiscuity—not to mention the celebrated whistleblower complaint, which contains no firsthand information. Little notice has been given, however, to another document lying in plain sight: a Justice Department press release issued the day the conversation transcript became public.

That Justice Department statement makes explicit that the president never spoke with Attorney General William Barr “about having Ukraine investigate anything relating to former Vice President Biden or his son” or asked him to contact Ukraine “on this or any other matter,” and that the attorney general has not communicated at all with Ukraine. It also contains the following morsel: “A Department of Justice team led by U.S. Attorney John Durham is separately exploring the extent to which a number of countries, including Ukraine, played a role in the counterintelligence investigation directed at the Trump campaign during the 2016 election. While the Attorney General has yet to contact Ukraine in connection with this investigation, certain Ukrainians who are not members of the government have volunteered information to Mr. Durham, which he is evaluating.”

The definitive answer to the obvious question—what’s that about?—is known only to Mr. Durham and his colleagues. But publicly available reports, including by Andrew McCarthy in his new book, “Ball of Collusion,” suggest that during the 2016 campaign the Federal Bureau of Investigation tried to get evidence from Ukrainian government officials against Mr. Trump’s campaign manager, Paul Manafort, to pressure him into cooperating against Mr. Trump. When you grope through the miasma of Slavic names and follow the daisy chain of related people and entities, it appears that Ukrainian officials who backed the Clinton campaign provided information that generated the investigation of Mr. Manafort—acts that one Ukrainian court has said violated Ukrainian law and “led to interference in the electoral processes of the United States in 2016 and harmed the interests of Ukraine as a state.”

Republicans Begin Impeachment Investigation…

Mitch McConnell strides into the press conference, exuding that air of masculine confidence that made him, inevitably, a leader of men. He taps the microphone, clears his throat, and begins his presentation to the assembled reporters: “Good afternoon, everyone. I have an important announcement to make. In fact, one of historical significance.” Before the murmur in the room can die down, he declares, “Republicans of both houses of Congress are officially launching an impeachment investigation of the next Democratic President of the United States.”

After 10-15 seconds of stunned silence, the questions begin:

REPORTER 1: “But, the next Democratic President hasn’t even been inaugurated yet.”

MCCONNELL: “Neither had President Trump, when his impeachment investigation started. One example of the bipartisan nature of this investigation is how closely we are modeling it on the admirably effective techniques of our esteemed Democratic colleagues. After all, it’s all about the children.”

REPORTER 2: “Ummm… But shouldn’t you at least wait until you find out who the next Democratic President will be?”

MCCONNELL: “We feel that such procedural delays would be reckless. What if the next Democrat President ends up being black? Or female? Or gay? Or a member of some other oppressed group which hasn’t been discovered yet? This way, we can make it clear that this is not simply a partisan witch hunt. Since we don’t know who the next Democrat President will be, that makes it obvious that our motivations are pure. Besides, when you’re doing the work of the American People, typical Washington foot-dragging is unconscionable. Think of the children.”

“Does this mean Donald Trump isn’t an idiot? No, it just so happens that an idiot can play this game too, and clearly, better than you. . . . They can’t stop taking the bait.”

But although political correctness gone overboard reigns supreme in newsrooms and the very online and vocal Left, ordinary people don't want to live in a world where your life ends up being ruined because you did something amazing to help sick kids. Nobody wants some zealous but hypocritical neckbeard journalist to find the worst thing you ever said as a joke in high school, and his idiot editors to give the thumbs up to his zealotry.

In the end, normal people of all ideological persuasions bullied the bullies right back.

Mark Steyn: A little background on Hunter Biden and Burisma

In April 2014, a sleazy Ukrainian oligarch called Mykola Zlochevsky put Hunter Biden and Hunter's business partner, Devon Archer, on the board of Ukraine's biggest oil-and gas company, Burisma.

How did it get to be so big?

Well, Mr Zlochevsky and his business partner Nikolay Lysin were respectively Minister of Natural Resources and the chairman of the Natural Resources parliamentary committee for much of the previous twelve years. There is a rule in Kiev that no Member of Parliament should have any business beyond his parliamentary responsibilities - so, as Messrs Zlochevsky and Lysin's parliamentary responsibilities included oil and gas, they happily spent their terms of office handing out oil and gas licenses to companies they personally controlled (for which Burisma is the overarching holding company).

Mr Lysin did not live to enjoy his oil-gotten gains. A healthy fortysomething, he swerved to avoid a rabbit in the road one night and ploughed his Lamborghini at 150mph into (appropriately) a set of gas pumps. That's the official story. So now Mr Zlochevsky owns all of Burisma.

That said, it is not, technically, a Ukrainian company. It's registered in Limmerssol, the second biggest city in Cyprus but one that the locals now call Limmerssolgrad, because it's the preferred destination for Russian money-launderers. As to how preferred it is with Ukrainian launderers, by the time Hunter Biden joined Burisma's board virtually the entire national economy was Cypriot: In 2014 92 per cent of Ukraine's outward investment went to Cyprus.

As I said to Tucker, Hunter Biden joined Burisma the same month Britain's Serious Fraud Office froze $23 million of Mr Zlochevsky's money and launched a criminal investigation. Putting the Vice President's son on the Burisma board was intended to deter the US government from doing likewise, and indeed to stymie UK efforts. So Biden Jr got to make millions from a non-job in a country where the average income was two-and-a-half grand per annum.

Is there anything that a man even The Guardian called an undistinguished corporate lawyer could have done to earn that money legitimately? He and John Kerry's step-son and the Kerry kid's college roommate, Devon Archer, had founded a so-called private investment fund. For some reason, that always reminds me of the Sixties pop group Dino, Desi & Billy, founded by Dean Martin Jr, Desi Arnaz Jr and their pal Billy. Two-thirds of the private investment firm of Hunter, Chris & Devon wound up on the board of Burisma, even though neither was an investor in the company. The third member, Theresa Heinz's son Christopher, parted company with his pals over the Ukrainian deal: That's to say, Hunter Biden was too sleazy even for fellow Dem scions milking their family rolodexes.

So the son of the Vice President of the United States was part of the industrial-scale looting of Ukraine. And he continued to loot Ukraine until this year, when he resigned from Burisma the same month his dad launched his presidential campaign. (Ukraine used to be "The Ukraine", but the looting was such that evidently someone eventually filched the "The"; it's probably in Limmerssol by now.)

Can Hunter plead ignorance? Well, if he ever attended any actual board meetings, he might have noticed this was a non-board: His only fellow directors were Zlochevsky's daughter Karina, whose business experience consists of an alligator-shoes boutique she owned in Kiev; the former Polish president (and secret policeman) Aleksander Kwaśniewski; and a trio of Limmerssol lawyers and accountants who perform the same local services for a zillion Ukrainian companies registered in Cyprus.

Oh, Hunter Biden was later joined on the board by a Mitt Romney advisor. If an impeachment trial ever happens in the Senate, will Mitt vote to remove Trump from office?

Trump is a businessman: He has spent his life going around the world putting up hotels and golf courses, and making money from those who use them. By contrast, the Bidens and the Clintons are just part of the new corruptocrat class: you're not renting tee time or a junior suite, just their surnames and a little familial proximity to power. Running a centrist kleptocrat didn't work last time round, and the Dems aren't going to take a flyer on it again.

To Hell with the Elites

Asking for the assistance of our global friends and allies to help reveal the wrongdoing of the American ruling class is now an impeachable offense. Investigating their wrongdoing is wrongdoing. Exposing their corruption is corruption. In the Clown World we currently inhabit, the president of the United States must be removed from office for daring to ask they be investigated abroad.

The events of this week reveal the new standard. Like sharks to a whale carcass, our elites routinely feast upon precarious situations in other nations: The Podesta Group, Hunter Biden, and others were content to make a buck off the tensions in Ukraine along with Paul Manafort, just as the Clintons and others were happy to take tens of millions of dollars from Russian oligarchs. We all know that Manafort would be sitting in a house in Malibu right now with the same immunity deal the likes of Podesta, Biden, and the Clintons apparently possess if only he had never decided to work for Donald Trump.

Recall that the supposed original sin of the entire Russian-collusion gambit was that when approached (apparently mostly by agents of the United States government working for President Obama and friends) then-candidate Trump or his team were interested in recovering the emails that Hilary Clinton unwisely and illegally sent and then deleted from her private server so that no one could read them. There would be plenty of reasons for Americans and the U.S. government itself to seek out these emails, of course, if only to determine to what extent they threatened national security—never mind the power and wealth of the foundation engaged in international money collection that her husband ran while she was Secretary of State.

But while the supposed reasons for it change every week, the Ukraine fiasco reveals the real underlying cause of the Left’s outrageously hypocritical march towards impeachment. The ruling class is now effectively saying to President Trump: “We know that domestically we have nothing to fear from the media and the law—so how dare you ask other countries about us! You must be impeached for this crime and this crime alone—asking other countries about our wrongdoing! Only an insane or evil person would do this!”

OPINION: Whether or Not Trump Committed a Crime, Can’t We All Agree That He is Guilty of It?

This is satire, but I find examples daily of exactly this reasoning in respected publications.  Trump is a crook, they reason, and we should not need to prove it.  He just is, they scream.  Rush is right; Trump has driven the press and a good part of the Democrat Party faithful literally insane. 

Let me lay out my reasoning. Trump, as we all know, is a criminally corrupt president, unfit and emotionally unstable. It is our job as reporters to discover the evidence that proves these facts. But here’s the rub – finding evidence is difficult and expensive. Can’t we just jump to the end and say he’s guilty already?

First of all, we know he’s guilty because we feel these facts deep within our bones. We feel the knowledge of his guilt well up inside us when he appears on the TV screen. We flush to its terrible revelation when he speaks. It’s insulting, frankly, that we should have to prove this guilt by “standards” of “law.”

“They’re just soaking the poor to feed the rich!” tweeted Benson, who, along with millions of other working Americans, will continue to pay zero taxes under the new GOP plan.

Democrats Introduce Debate Strategy Of Holding Up Small Child Whenever Their Positions Are Challenged

U.S.—Democrats are bringing a new tactic to the next presidential debate. Each candidate will arrive on the debate stage with a child to hold up whenever someone tries to question or challenge any of the statements they make.

"This cable TV debate format doesn't allow for long-winded answers and rebuttals. You gotta make your point and you need people to move on," said news anchor Anderson Cooper in support of the new debate technique.

Recently, presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren was asked about accepting lobbyist money and she immediately lifted up a five-year-old girl named Sophie.

"Why are you attacking this child? Are you some kind of monster?" she asked, leaving her interviewer speechless.

"These are the kind of people I'm up against," Warren later said to her supporters after dropping Sophie into a carrying case for later. "People who ruthlessly attack children."

The technique grew in popularity from that moment and Democrat parents were more than happy to hand over their children to deflect criticism of their favorite candidates. "We are so proud to have our son Marco being used to shame anyone who questions our man Biden," said Robert Ortiz, father of the boy Joe Biden carries around to shield himself from attacks.

Reports indicate that Beto O'Rourke is having a harder time finding a child-shield, not because he's a creepy furry, but because his supporters have so few children, and are mostly creepy furries.

Amy Klobuchar has been through a few children already, sending several home needing therapy. "She's rough on kids but we're working with her," said Hannah Grantham, one of her child-handling trainers.

The next Democrat debate will include frequent potty breaks for the kids but is expected to be much shorter than the recent seven-hour climate summit. "Cutting out all the rebuttals and questions is going to save us a ton of time," said CNN program director Charlie Foot. "These kids are doing the Lord's work."

The Washington Post accuses Hillary of a crime.

Trump said in June that he would accept help with his 2020 reelection campaign from another country, which would be against the law.

“There’s nothing wrong with listening,” he told ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos. “If somebody called from a country, Norway — ‘We have information on your opponent’ — oh, I think I’d want to hear it.”

The authors may have forgotten that Hillary actually paid a foreign spy to collect dirt on Trump from the Russians to help her election campaign. So while they attribute potential criminal activity to Trump, they describe actual criminal activity to Hillary. Unless it's legal if Democrats do it.

I don't think it's illegal to accept information from anyone about your political opponents.  

New York Times Kavanaugh Reporter Told Source What To Say

Year-old texts contained in a Senate Judiciary Committee report show that New York Times reporter Robin Pogrebin engaged in questionable journalistic tactics to shape a false narrative against Kavanaugh by telling a source what to say and by asking sources to confirm information she herself had given them. And despite including a highly opinionated discussion of the text exchange in their book, the authors never admitted that Pogrebin was a key player in the exchanges.

Pogrebin made a bizarre and unsupported claim this week that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh had told her to lie. It turned out Pogrebin had mischaracterized discussions with the Supreme Court’s public information officer, not Kavanaugh, who had merely explained the terms of an off-the-record interview that was being sought and never obtained. Despite the many errors and false claims Pogrebin and her co-author Kate Kelly made, corporate media picked up on this false statement as if it were true.

The narrative is falling apart and the truth is out there, but people who read the NY Times or watch CNN will never find out. Propaganda is effective.  The lies told about Kavanaugh are like a drive-by shooting.  The victims lie in a pool of blood and the killers are never brought to justice. 

The alternative is the abyss

The problem is that the opposition no longer believes in the rules of the game. They are serious about their revolution.  And revolutions always include violence.

Computers, airplanes, population levels -- nothing is off-limits. But the downside of this militancy is it engenders its mirror image. As Megan McArdle pointed out, in a zero-sum game there are no points for second place. "Democrats who think court packing is justified by Garland forget that [Whispers] Garland was justified by Bork. In this game, you don't move last." When one side attacks the other must counterattack. The first side to falter loses. That fear, as Victor Davis Hanson notes, is what keeps the weary populists together. They will stand fast because for them the alternative to Trump is the abyss.

Fighting all that can be wearying. ... But these are not normal times. There is (for now) no longer a Democratic Party. Instead, it is a revolutionary Jacobin movement that believes socialism is our salvation, that identity politics is our creed, that gun confiscation is our duty, that the abrupt end of fossil fuels is coming very soon, that open borders is our new demography, and that the archetypical unmarried, childless, urban hipster is our model woke citizen.

Social media pundits scorched The Washington Post for a piece comparing Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s selfies to Frederick Douglass stately portraits.

Warren’s penchant for posing for thousands of photographs with fans around the country had “smashed stereotypes” in a similar way to Douglass during the 19th century, the paper claimed.

“Have to say that this is totally nuts,” said Bridget Read, a writer for The Cut.

“Remember, the idea there is a bias in our media is a pernicious falsehood. Also, Elizabeth Warren = Frederick Douglass because they are both in photographs,” snarked David Rutz, managing editor of the Washington Free Beacon.

Trump Signs Executive Order Banning Church Greeting Times

Please Lord, let this be true.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A new mandate banning churches from implementing incredibly awkward times of forced meeting and greeting is the latest executive order to be signed by President Trump, sources at the White House reported Friday.

The order instructs churches to allow fellowship to occur “naturally and organically,” rather than asking church members to turn to one another and say some pithy phrase during the worship set. It also instructs law enforcement officers to intervene to prevent any forced time of shaking hands, saying a silly phrase, or greeting those sitting in pews near a victim, according to sources.

“To put this in plain language, a spy who allegedly spied on the president does not have a legitimate whistleblower complaint against that president under the law. The ICWPA is a mechanism to report alleged misconduct by members within the intelligence community, of which the president is not,” Gregg Jarrett argued.

OTOH, this could also be a great way for Trump to bring bribery by Biden to the front.

Democrats condemned what they saw as a clear effort to damage a political rival, now at the heart of an explosive whistleblower complaint against Trump.

AP admits it has no proof:

It was the latest revelation in an escalating controversy that has created a showdown between congressional Democrats and the Trump administration, which has refused to turn over the formal complaint by a national security official or even describe its contents.

Trump suggests that media investigate Biden:

Trump was asked Friday if he brought up Biden in the call with Zelenskiy, and he answered, “It doesn’t matter what I discussed.” But then he used the moment to urge the media “to look into” Biden’s background with Ukraine.

President Trump does not just fight. He wins. He took the battle to the liberals. You cannot have a Cultural Civil War if one side refuses to fight back.

Hanson wrote, "In a way, the left-wing Democratic presidential candidates understand Trump best. If he wins his one-man crusade to stop the progressive project, they are finished, and their own party will make the necessary adjustments and then sheepishly drift back toward the center."

Babylon Bee: Trump Authorizes Nuking California To Prevent Future Earthquakes

WASHINGTON, D.C.—During a cabinet meeting this week, President Trump proposed a bold new strategy for protecting Americans from future earthquakes: Nuke California.

California has long been known for being home to highly unstable areas, such as the San Andreas Fault and UC Berkeley. Over the years, incredibly devastating earthquakes have laid waste to entire neighborhoods in Southern California, brought down bridges in Central California, and ruined a couple of games of Jenga in Northern California.

“I know lots of people in Los Angeles, in the movies. They love me over there! They won’t admit it, but they do! They really do!” Trump declared during a recent rally, “But the earthquakes, they’re a problem --a huge problem. Nobody’s ever done anything about it! Been a state for 300 years and nobody’s done a thing! So I’m thinking: They’ve got some earthquakes. We’ve got some nukes. Just a bunch of nukes laying around --more than anybody else in the world! I can tell you, nobody else even comes close! So what am I gonna do? I’m gonna bomb the [expletive] out of ‘em! That’s what I’m going to do!”

Despite the enthusiastic applause at the rally, several critics were quick to voice concerns.

“Trump needs to stop the shenanigans and stick to bombing people in third-world countries, like Obama and every other president in modern history!” CNN host Jim Acosta declared.

California Governor Gavin Newsom laughed off the idea, stating instead that he could easily get the earthquakes to leave the state if he simply taxed them enough. “Worked on everyone else!” he said.

At publishing time, several nuclear bombs were tentatively scheduled to be dropped “probably in the next week or so.” Trump's approval rating has skyrocketed among non-Californians.

Disaster At Union Seminary As Giant, Angry Carnivorous Plant Does Not Accept Students' Apologies

Did you read the story about students confessing their sins to plants?

HARLEM, NY—Union Seminary recent held a chapel service where its students could apologize to plants for their climate sins. Everything seemed to be going well as seminarians apologized for taking an Uber instead of walking, accidentally eating meat, and basically just existing at all.

But the touching proceedings soon took a turn for the worse. Xen Hapling, a freshperson at Union, approached a drooling giant venus flytrap and apologized for xis sins. "O great green viney one, I am sorry for all the methane I've released and for all the times I've spoken, releasing chemicals into the ai---AGGHHHH!"

The plant wasn't having it and swallowed xim in one chomp. It then began a murderous rampage, locking the doors with its tendrils and devouring all the students at the chapel.

"DESTROY ALL HUMANS!" it bellowed as it ate student after student who had confessed all their climate sins. "LEAF US ALONE! YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR SINS! I DO NOT ACCEPT YOUR PITIFUL CARBON CREDITS, FOOLISH MORTALS!"

One Buddhist priest employed by the Christian seminary was cornered by the plant and begged for mercy.

"Please---I've not so much as killed a fly!" he whimpered.

"I HATE FLIES! AGGGGH!!!!" the plant cried before opening its powerful jaws and cleaving the priest in two. "DIE! DIE! DIE!"

Campus faculty say the event was a success, as there are now far fewer humans around to pollute the planet.

Let us note that two women wrote a story about somebody pushing someone else's penis in the hand of a third person.  These women are obviously, blindingly ignorant about male sexual organs.

How can anyone, let alone two or more people, "push" a man's penis into another person's hand? Just how big is Brett Kavanaugh's penis, anyway? Wouldn't a man's penis, if it were able to be "pushed" by one's friends into third parties, need to be erect and at least 3 feet long? Don't push my penis, bro!

The coup to take out candidate Trump and then President Trump is exactly the same as this, or more to the point, this is merely an extension of it. On the granular level, the courts since perhaps the time of Marbury and most definitely since the FDR administration were where the Left went to ram down our collective throat all of their insane policies that never stood a chance at the ballot box. And once ruled the law of the land, it was forever etched in stone. So now that the courts are gradually realigning themselves back towards justices who swear loyalty to the Constitution and not the Communist Manifesto, plus a detectable undercurrent of popular revulsion for the purveyors of same, there can only be one recourse for the Left: De-legitimization. And that goes hand in hand with the ongoing de-legitimization of American history, western civilization, the Scottish Enlightenment, Judeo-Christian morals and values and all that goes with it.

Whether the Left's leaders see and understand their 100-plus year slow motion hijacking of the nation is possibly slipping through their grasp or truly believe their own agitprop about the evil of America is irrelevant. The end result is still the same; a growing threat of lawlessness up to and including the use of violence to maintain the power they have and perhaps attempt a grand coup.

From shooting unarmed lawmakers at a softball field and nearly beating them to death on their front lawns to confronting them in restaurants, threatening their families and children or smearing them to such an extent as to virtually ruining their careers and livelihoods, the Left has declared war on us. And, gentle reader, they are coming for you. Masterpiece Cake Shop, Memories Pizza and now "social credit scoring" are the tip of the iceberg. They will not leave us alone. We will be made to cheer them on and woe to anyone who stops applauding first. We are all Brett Kavanaugh now. High time we wake up to that fact.

Last night on Lawrence O'Donnell, the pair threw their editors under the bus and claimed, almost certainly falsely, that the editors decided to cut the key fact that this story is all about a "victim" who denies the event ever happened.

But when they recounted this same story on NPR, they strangely also failed to note this key detail -- no clumsy editor stumbling around making accidental deletions!

Apparently they just don't think this fact helps them sell their bullshit book, so they frequently "forget" to mention it.

In a Twitter message, the Horny Gray Lady dreamed of “harmless fun” with Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, disrobed.

“Having a penis thrust in your face at a drunken dorm party may seem like harmless fun. But when [confirmed Supreme Court Justice] Brett Kavanaugh did it to her, Deborah Ramirez says, it confirmed that she didn’t belong at Yale in the first place.”

Clearly, according to the Horny Gray Lady, Ms. Ramirez just doesn’t know a good time when it is shoved in her face.

All of this would be terribly troubling if it were not pure fantasy. But then again, it is terribly troubling that there are all these women in America today so thoroughly stricken by such fantasies involving a man they have never met.

Clearly, these are people who are sick and broken. All alone. They are crazed stalkers who hear voices in their heads.
