We need to show more sympathy for these people. They travel miles in the heat, they risk their lives crossing a border, they don't get paid enough wages, they do jobs that others won't do or are afraid to do, they live in crowed conditions among a people who speak a different language, they rarely see their families, and they face adversity all day every day.
I'm not talking about illegal Mexicans, I'm talking about our troops!
Isn't it outrageous, that our government has lavished all kinds of social benefits on illegals, but don't support our troops and are now threatening to cut funding for them?
Please pass this on, this is worth the short time it takes to read it.

No active link...where's the article?
suek,
It was an e-mail my brother forwarded to me. No article. No link.
Ok...but you didn't publish it...makes it hard to pass on the info! or am I missing something? I feel kind of dumb...
I don't mean to confuse you. My bother is in the habit of forwarding stuff to me. Most of it I delete, but some of it I post. Mostly they are not articles, just pictures or comments like these. They are not sourced, but they do make a point, don't they?
Maybe you just need quotation marks, then? So that it would read...
He writes:
"We need to show...threatening to cut funding for them?"
In that context, it makes sense to me. Sorry if I'm being dense or picking nits here - but I just didn't understand that the body of the post was actually the quote from your brother.
And I agree with him...absolutely.
