Must be one of those self-hating blacks we keep hearing about.
Seven Phony Hate Crimes Trumpeted By The Media
It's always a good time to bash the media and expose their lies.
Remember Tawanda Brawley and Al Sharpton? |
There's Kerri Dunn who vandalized her own car to make it appear she was the victim of a hate crime.
The black St. Peter’s Prep student who sent racist messages to himself.
The lesbian waitress who was stiffed on a tip who faked a receipt and got lots of money when people felt sorry for her.

Megyn Kelly interviews expert on IPAB aka ‘Death Panels’
The Affordable Care Act contains provisions for “death panels,” which decide which critically ill patients receive care and which don’t, says Mark Halperin, senior political analyst for Time magazine.“It’s built into the plan. It’s not like a guess or like a judgment. That’s going to be part of how costs are controlled,” Halperin told “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Newsmax TV.“We do need to do some of that in this country, because we can’t afford to spend so much on end-of-life care. A very high percentage of our healthcare spending is for a very small number of people at the last stages of their life,” he said Monday.“I’m not saying the system shouldn’t allow that, but there’s too much cost. There’re judgments have to be made.”…

How do Leftists continue to feel rebellious when they have won?
To the Leftist, what is is always evil and oppressive because reality never matches the visions of the anointed.Although Leftism is dominant in all of the developed world, and ever-more-tightly controls all the large and powerful social structures, Leftists continue to feel that they are rebels. This seems absurd in terms of power structures, but the truth is that the Left really are perpetual rebels - whatever has happened they want more. Whatever 'progress' has been made, in their hearts they feel (correctly) that in reality nothing-has-changed.This was brought to mind by an advertisment for a conference promoting (not discussing!) better jobs for women in higher education. Women wanted access to university - they got it; women's colleges - they got them; abolition of men's colleges - got it; a majority of undergraduates - got it; equal numbers of junior academics - got it; leadership of the two most prestigious universities in the world (Harvard and Cambridge) - got it... Relevant laws and regulations deliberately, explicitly and quite openly and proudly favour women. And yet, and yet... things are really, at root, when you look closely enough - still 'the same', still unequal; and therefore higher education apparently needs re-organising, permanently to enforce the domination of women (qua women) on pretext of eradicating the remaining inequalities. So, plenty of work for the radicals still to do! And if they get what they want today, then they will have another shopping list by tomorrow. To be a Leftist is indeed a state of perpetual rebellion, because no matter how far you have pushed, there is always another boundary to transgress and some resistance to further transgression. And so long as there are boundaries and resistance, then the situation is still - in essence - 'the same' - the plucky radical rebel bravely fighting against the overwhelmingly greater forces of reaction and oppression. And this is the truth of it - not an illusion. To be a Leftist is ultimately to align your-self (your wishes) against reality.
NEW YORK TIMES: TEA PARTY 'NIHILISTS' TO BLAME FOR KILLING FILIBUSTER
The New York Times editorial board spent Thanksgiving bringing Americans together by ripping into the Tea Party, suggesting that conservatives were “nihilists” because they opposed Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-NV) destruction of the filibuster.
Blaming the victim is part of the Left's playbook.

Two Days from Obamacare Website Fix Deadline, Site Failing
For reasons that I don't understand, the media are talking as if December 1st will give us a new unveiling of the ObamaCare website. That's not he case and it's going to make the "second coming" as big a bust as the initial introduction. The MSM isn't going Obama any favors with this.
On Friday, Bloomberg News reported that two days before the Obama administration’s self-imposed December 1 deadline for fixing the Healthcare.gov website, the website remains disastrously “hit-and-miss.” Bloomberg reports:From Florida to Alaska, the “navigators” designated to sign people up for insurance under the U.S. health-care overhaul say that while the federal online insurance exchange has improved in many ways since its Oct. 1 debut, outages and errors continue to prevent many from using it to buy their coverage.Navigators quoted say that the site rates “four out of 10,” “kind of hit and miss,” and “not able to function at the capacity yet that capture the complications of people’s lives.”
Going door-to-door for Obamacare
Standing here on the streets of Hollywood with two comely Obamacare cheerleaders by my side, I’m feeling fired up and ready to go. I’m feeling like the change I’ve been waiting for. I’m feeling like whatever Obama cliché you can think of. And all I want to say, like the late Todd Beamer before me, is, “Let’s roll.” Or more like, “Let’s enroll.” Because much as Beamer, God rest his soul, took on the terrorists who tried to take down America, we are now in a similar cataclysmic fight: the fight to guarantee that every American has the right to buy overpriced health insurance on a glitchy website, under threat of punitive tax penalties.
To give the CliffsNotes version of the three-hour session, it went a little like this: The woman beside me, named Jenny, a naturalized citizen from Ecuador, spent two and a half hours trying to crunch through the system before it finally returned her to the first page, then locked her out. She never even saw the prices. When Blade had her call the phone support hotline, they told her she’d need to wait three weeks to find out the status of her application. The same happened to her colleague, Sue, sitting next to her. They both need insurance now, because the endocrinologist they work for had to cancel theirs because it didn’t meet Obamacare requirements. They’re hoping not only that they can get insurance, but also that they can keep their jobs, since Jenny, who does billing for the doctor, says Obamacare is completely convoluting how, if at all, they’ll be able to collect money from patients.
Two men sitting behind me get to a price list, though one wigs out because of the high premiums and leaves. The other finds a relatively cheap plan, but the deductible is so high, for his family of four, that he says, “I can’t touch this.” And he leaves, too. The two people on the other side of Jenny and Sue, whom I never even meet, leave after about 30 minutes. Blade suggests it’s probably because of “sticker shock,” if they even got that far. A recurring problem, he says, in his line of work.
All told, even with all the hand-holding Navigators, I’m assured by members of the two Navigator groups who worked the session that of the 100 or so prospects in attendance, exactly none walked out with a completed enrollment. As the room thins out after three hours of frustration, Blade takes a chair next to me, not so much sitting as sagging into it. He looks like someone let the air out of his balloon.

Global warming has left the building.
Welcome to the kludgeocracy.
Government doesn't have to work this badly. The Obama administration had 42 months from the passage of Obamacare to the scheduled rollout of healthcare.gov. The Pentagon, still the world's largest office building after more than 70 years, was built in 18 months. But that was accomplished by men who knew that the Commander-in-Chief, Franklin Roosevelt, expected results. Roosevelt could be an inspiring orator. But he also showed a gift for selecting the right men (and, occasionally, women) to reach goals that he thought were really important.Barack Obama seems to lack that knack. He has advanced to the highest position in government without having demonstrated the ability to get results outside a political campaign.
Obama believes there is magic in words, that they can make things become real. That may get you elected, but it doesn't work anywhere else.

Residents of East Germany would recognize Obama's efforts to turn holidays and celebrations into political events.
But the first floor of the Stasi Museum is not about spying. Instead, it is devoted to the propaganda that East German bureaucrats used to foster socialist consciousness in an unwilling public. One display explains the GDR's efforts in the 1950s to politicize what in the past had been family and religious occasions. The state sought to transform weddings, confirmations, and other personal events into "socialist celebrations," to be "committed collectively and aimed at a confession to socialism," according to the awkward English translation of the exhibit. The exhibition informs visitors that the project "did not gain popular acceptance." Amazingly enough, people didn't want to turn their family holidays into socialist celebrations. Here at home, this Thanksgiving brings an effort by the Obama administration to turn a day of giving thanks into a day of discussion about the virtues of national health care. On Wednesday afternoon, just hours before Thanksgiving, President Obama's Twitter account -- which has more than 40 million followers -- sent out this message: "Make sure everyone who sits down with you for #Thanksgivukkah dinner is covered." ("Thanksgivukkah" refers to this year's rare overlap of Thanksgiving and Hanukkah.)The president's tweet linked to a photo of a young man sitting at a table with a turkey and a menorah. The accompanying text: "Celebrating Thanksgiving. Lighting the Hanukkah candles. Talking about health insurance. Gotta love dinners like these."
What is with this cult of personality? Remember Obama's attempt to turn your family celebration into fund raisers for his campaign?
... the Obama 2012 re-election campaign urged Americans to turn their most personal holidays into celebrations of the president."Got a birthday, anniversary, or wedding coming up?" the campaign asked. "Let your friends know how important this election is to you — register with Obama 2012, and ask for a donation in lieu of a gift. It's a great way to support the president on your big day."
This is not just bizarre, it's creepily Fascistic. What kind of American thinks this is a good idea? What kind of person gathers these kind of people around himself? This is a kind of Hitlerism.
Tossing away the Iraq war victory
Democrats hated the war in Iraq so much that they were willing to lie about it, obstruct it and after it was won, to turn it over to the Mullahs.
Remember the Iran - Iraq war? Democrats were able to do what Iran was not able to do: turn Iraq into an Iranian protectorate.
Think I'm exaggerating? Charles Krauthammer agrees with me.
Kanye West Is an Antisemite
Kanye West’s statement is clear-cut antisemitism. West is saying in his own garbled, illiterate way that he believes–like Obama’s spiritual mentor Jeremiah Wright–a Jewish conspiracy runs the world and can be blamed any time a black person fails.
Well, yeah.
The Insiders: Why would Obama say he is not ideological?
The president’s belief that little of what he does is ideologically driven suggests he is living with a pampered, unchallenged mind. He has been told he is so smart for so long that he sees only clarity in his actions and unchallengeable reason in his conclusions. The president’s belief in his own intellect makes him think that whatever he does is simply the only thing a thinking person would do. Nothing ideological about that. And as president, he is constantly flattered, and his confidence that his analysis and conclusions are superior to others is readily reinforced. Presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett tells us that Obama has been “bored to death his whole life.” Perhaps she is onto something. I guess there is something ho-hum and tiresome about being right all the time.It appears that President Obama believes that dissenting views are irrational or the result of clouded, lesser thinking. Being blind to his own ideology makes him unable to respectfully deal with others who might readily embrace an ideological point of view. The president’s inability to effectively work with Congress, orchestrate Washington, or build strong alliances or even friendships overseas probably stems from his belief that others should defer to his clear thinking without many questions or objections. He doesn’t see politics as a great debate with multiple possibilities among equal voices.

New York chef suffers broken jaw, nose in likely 'knockout game' attack in Philadelphia.
Police are investigating a vicious attack on a Manhattan chef who was walking alone on Tuesday night when he was allegedly assaulted by a group of six to eight men, all between the ages of 16 and 21. ‘I'm not well, a lot of swelling and overall pain,’ said victim Diego Moya. ‘Should be four weeks until I lose the wires and can eat normally, which is devastating being a chef. Means I can't work.’

Kanye West on Obama's Failures: ‘Black People Don’t Have the Same Connections as Jewish People’
KANYE WEST: We don’t got it like that. When I tell you only seven black billionaires, look at marginalization, and we feel like we happy because me and Rick Ross got it made, or I got a spread outside, a couple of us, or they put a black president.Man, let me tell you something about George Bush and oil money and Obama and no money. People want to say Obama can't make these moves or he's not executing. That's because he ain't got those connections. Black people don't have the same level of connections as Jewish people. Black people don't have the same connection as oil people. You know we don't know nobody that got a nice house. You know we don’t know nobody with paper like that we can go to when we down. You know they can just put us back or put us in a corporation. You know we ain’t in situation. Can you guarantee that your daughter can get a job at this radio station? But if you own this radio station, you could guarantee that. That’s what I’m talking about.
As for George W. Bush, his net worth is estimated to be $35 million. West's is $100 million.
Makes you sorry for him, doesn't it?
What in the hell does having connections have to do with being competent? Obama has connections that gave him a billion dollars to run his campaign, yet he's either incompetent or evil; perhaps both.
Mafia 'fed rival to pigs while he was still alive'
The Italians are giving us a taste of what "Death Panels" will be like.
Mafia mobsters allegedly beat a rival gangster with metal bars and then fed him to pigs while he was still alive, it has emerged from an investigation by the Italian police.Francesco Raccosta was allegedly fed to the pigs, which are prized for their ability to dispose of most of a human body, as part of a bloody turf war between two clans belonging to the 'Ndrangheta mafia of Calabria, in the far south of Italy.
It's "Green" body disposal.

The Knockout Game -- NYT/NPR Say No Big Deal
The "knockout game" -- and the media underreporting of it -- combines the breakdown of the family with the media's condescending determination to serve as a public relations bureau for blacks.... Both National Public Radio and The New York Times say these reports of the "knockout game" being widespread are overblown and do not represent a trend. Really? All of a sudden, NPR gets conservative, asking whether a brutal assault is a "traditional" hate crime. Is NPR, the upholder of tradition when it comes to crimes?
The Los Angeles Times, the major metropolitan hometown paper, for one whole week did not write a single word about the Long Beach incident, which took place only twenty-some miles from the paper's headquarters. Eyewitnesses to the brutal attack reported many in the mob yelling, "We hate white people, f*** whites!" during the rampage.
NPR finally got around to mentioning Long Beach -- a month later. And the NPR piece was really about whether blacks, given America's history of racism, can even commit a "hate crime." NPR moderator Farai Chideya put the following question to her guests: "...Some people say black folks cannot be racist because the root of the issue is power. So what do you make of this crime where you've got 12- to 17-year-olds and, you know, black people attacking whites? Is this a traditional hate crime? Should it be prosecuted as such? People in the community are kind of divided about that." Perhaps Chideya might ask the young white female victims whether they felt that their black attackers lacked "power."
And don'f forget the Virginian Pilot's spiking of the black mob attack on their own staff.

A good reason not to leave a cash tip
It appears that the waitresses of the "oppressed minority" persuasion may be faking being stiffed by bigots in order to generate sympathy and get cash sent to them after they spread their stories.
Example: Dayna Morales is a lesbian and appears to have victimized a couple she waited on.
Dayna Morales, a former Marine and a server at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, posted a photo on Facebook earlier this month, showing the bill with a line through the space for a tip. The photo of the receipt showed someone had written, “I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle.”So, who are you going to believe?
Morales indicated in her Facebook post and in subsequent media interviews . . .that the customer wrote that line.
But a family contacted NBC 4 New York claiming their receipt from the restaurant shows they did leave a tip, and provided what they said was a credit card statement as proof.
The husband and wife, who asked to remain anonymous, showed. . .a receipt that appeared to be printed at the same minute, on the same date, for the same $93.55 total, except with an $18 tip. They also provided a document they said was a Visa bill, which appears to indicate their card was charged for the meal plus the tip, for a total of $111.55.
The Anchoress makes the point that you can't ever prove that you left a cash tip and could be victimized by his new wave of fraud and deception.
Because my mother was a waitress who worked for mainly for tips, when my husband and I dine out we will very often strike a line through the “tips” portion of the bill, and leave our gratuity in cash. We do this for a couple of reasons — because often food-servers need the cash to pay the babysitter when they get home; because keeping track of what tips should show up on a paycheck is difficult; because why not let people access their tips immediately?
Well, we may decide to stop leaving cash.
Another example of self-victimization that netted the server over $10,000 in cash gifts.

Mad Mullahs in Iran call Obama a Liar.
The Best of the Web today ends with this
"Iranian officials say that the White House is misleading the public about the details of an interim nuclear agreement reached over the weekend in Geneva,"
The Washington Free Beacon reports:
The White House released a multi-page fact sheet containing details of the draft agreement shortly after the deal was announced. However, Iranian foreign ministry official on Tuesday rejected the White House's version of the deal as "invalid" and accused Washington of releasing a factually inaccurate primer that misleads the American public."What has been released by the website of the White House as a fact sheet is a one-sided interpretation of the agreed text in Geneva and some of the explanations and words in the sheet contradict the text of the Joint Plan of Action, and this fact sheet has unfortunately been translated and released in the name of the Geneva agreement by certain media, which is not true," Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham told the Iranian press on Tuesday.
We finally have the Iranian Mad Mullahs and most Americans in agreement that Obama is dishonest and untrustworthy. That's one way to bring people who are at odds with each other together.

SF Protesters to Obama: Please be a Dictator!
Dictators always assume their powers by declaring that they are doing the will of "the people." The next three years will tell the tale.
Is this the set-up? With this administration you can't be too paranoid. When Obama’s motorcade rocketed around San Francisco on Monday, very few locals even noticed his presence, and fewer still cared. The crowds awaiting him at each presidential fundraiser were the by far smallest I’d seen in over five years of covering his visits here. Ticket sales to at least one of the events were so sluggish that prices had to be lowered to fill the empty seats. Out in the street, rubberneckers and protesters had dwindled to the bare minimum. This is what happens when a hero disappoints: you don’t turn on him in anger, but rather just tune him out and move on to other interests.Yet even with the small turnout, there was a theme amongst Obama’s protesters/supporters (supportesters?): They didn’t want him to change his political agenda — instead, they demanded that he assume dictatorial powers so that he could finally implement the radical plans with which they already agree. The message of the day was: Stop dilly-dallying around, Mr. President: Ignore the Constitution and just make The Revolution happen, as you promised! That message would be disturbing enough all on its own, but it becomes much more disturbing when you suspect (as I do) that many of these pro-totalitarian protesters were astroturfed. In other words: Is the White House scripting/encouraging/guiding protesters on the left to beg him to become a dictator? So that later, he can explain, “I had no choice — the people demanded it!” Or is Obama simply telegraphing to his supporters that they should not be so disappointed when he throws in the towel and gives up even trying to achieve anything in his second term?
Rules of engagement.
Reading Erik Prince’s book on Blackwater "Civilian Warriors" and discovered that
one of the things that made his company a success was the Cole bombing. For those who don’t remember the Cole, that
was an American destroyer refueling at Aden which was attacked and nearly sunk
by a small boat manned by suicide
bombers and laden with explosives that blew a 40 by 40 foot hole in the ship,
killing 17 and injuring 39. A report
later concluded that even if the captain and crew had followed all the rules
regarding ship protection, the “rules of engagement” would still have allowed
the bombers to blow up the ship.
The destroyer's rules of engagement, as approved by the Pentagon, kept its guards from firing upon the small boat (which was not known to be loaded with explosives) as it neared them without first obtaining permission from the Cole's captain or another officer.Petty Officer John Washak said that right after the blast, a senior chief petty officer ordered him to turn an M-60 machine gun on the Cole's fantail away from a second small boat approaching. "With blood still on my face," he said, he was told: "That's the rules of engagement: no shooting unless we're shot at." He added, "In the military, it's like we're trained to hesitate now. If somebody had seen something wrong and shot, he probably would have been court-martialed." Petty Officer Jennifer Kudrick said that if the sentries had fired on the suicide craft "we would have gotten in more trouble for shooting two foreigners than losing seventeen American sailors."
As a result of the Cole bombing, the Navy contracted with Blackwater to teach
its sailors to shoot.
It seems that the Obama administration is determined to make
American servicemen targets in an Afghan shooting gallery. From the Washington Times
The new U.S.-Afghanistan security agreement adds restrictions on already bureaucratic rules of engagement for American troops by making Afghan dwellings virtual safe havens for the enemy, combat veterans say.The rules of engagement place the burden on U.S. air and ground troops to confirm with certainty that a Taliban fighter is armed before they can fire — even if they are 100 percent sure the target is the enemy. In some cases, aerial gunships have been denied permission to fire even though they reported that targets on the move were armed. The proposed Bilateral Security Agreement announced Wednesday by Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Secretary of State John F. Kerry all but prohibits U.S. troops from entering dwellings during combat. President Obama made the vow directly to Mr. Karzai.I wonder what the rules of engagement are for Obama’s Secret Service escort.“U.S. forces shall not enter Afghan homes for the purposes of military operations, except under extraordinary circumstances involving urgent risk to life and limb of U.S. nationals,” Mr. Obama pledged in a letter to the Afghan leader.Ryan Zinke, who commanded an assault team within SEAL Team 6, said of the security deal: “The first people who are going to look at it and review it are the enemy we’re trying to fight. It’s going to be a document that can be used effectively against us. This is where we either fight or go home. What’s happening is we’re losing our ability to fight overseas.”

Bud Norman on his visit to Philadelphia
The first thing a denizen of the prairie notices after arriving at Philadelphia’s intimidatingly immense airport is the city’s downright claustrophobic population, which can’t help but inculcate the collectivist mindset that is at the root of liberalism. The vast space of the prairie provides room for the rugged individualism that underlies the conservative philosophy, but getting so many millions of people to live together in such a constrained area apparently requires a degree of regulation that only liberals are willing to contemplate. Class differences are also more conspicuous and no doubt more infuriating here, where the poverty is more glaringly oppressive and the wealth more gleamingly opulent, so the enforced egalitarianism of the liberal program has an understandable appeal. Even as it becomes more apparent that it will lead to everyone but the politically connected becoming equally poor and stupid, we expect that a good many northeasterners will be satisfied with the result.
Chris Christie as viewed from Kansas
Gun-grabbing, Muslim-loving, Obama-embracing Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey is considered a Republican by the prevailing local standards, and his commonsensical insistence on balanced budgets and non-punitive tax rates even makes him a relatively radical right-winger in the view of the east coast press, and it is amusing to read the speculation that he might win over enough honest-to-God Republicans in the heartland to win his party’s nomination for president. Such crazy talk is unaccountable to the Kansas kind of Republican, but after just a few days back east it begins to make some sort of sense.

THE CASE FOR VULGARITY
I’m no fan of Alec Baldwin but firing a guy for swearing at someone after they threaten his family is fucking gay. The paps surrounded his wife and child as they always do so he lost his temper and called one a “cocksucking faggot.” I’m pretty sure it’s legal in Texas to pull out a shotgun when your family is perceived to be in imminent danger. I don’t know about you but I’d rather be accused of blowing someone than have my head blown off. Alas, we live in the Northeast where everyone is expected to act like aristocrats even when they’re being attacked by savages. The right seized this opportunity to give the left a taste of their own medicine. They pounced on Baldwin and demanded he be hoisted on his own petard. The left complied, claiming, “Alec Baldwin was attacking our families.” I don’t enjoy seeing retards on petards, because I hate petards. It’s fair for conservatives to use this outburst to showcase the left’s hypocrisy, but demanding apologies and insisting people lose their job is everything that’s wrong with the liberal ethos. Ann Coulter agrees. “This was just a curse word” she told Bill Hoffman at Newsmax, “It was like using the f-word and, frankly, a lot of these paparazzi photographers deserve it.” Coulter understands the difference between exposing hypocrisy and participating in it. You don’t demand apologies. You fight back. When the Perpetually Offended crowd demanded she apologize for saying “retard” she said, “screw them.”Though language policing is a liberal disease the right also talks a lot about how we should talk. When everyone thought Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a slut, many conservatives were angry at him. “He shouldn’t have stooped to that level” they said, “it cheapens the whole discussion.” Fuck that. She went to a Catholic school and wanted to have sex before marriage. In that context, that’s exactly what she is (and he never even said that). “How you should talk” is the root of political correctness. “Oh, it’s not ‘African American’” they say with their pinky in the air, “It’s ‘person of color’.” Actually, it’s “black” you patronizing prick. All this talk of keeping a stiff upper lip sounds downright un-American to me. I’m from Canada where centuries of Scotch/Irish culture mean everyone talks like they’re drunk. If a man walks into a bar with a burn on his face, we say, “Holy fuck guy, what happened to your face?” It’s a British trait to pretend nothing’s unusual. Didn’t America kick out the British almost a quarter of a millenium ago? They didn’t do it lining up and taking fire, either. They did it by rolling up their sleeves, jumping out of trees, and fighting dirty. That’s the kind of spirit that made me immigrate here in the first place. The Democrats are winning the culture war because they’re fighting dirty. Let’s punch them in the fucking face. I’m not saying you come into a debate calling everyone a bunch of cocksuckers but if four professors are smirking and guffawing at your points and calling your references, “fantasy studies,” come back with, “fucking idiot.”William F Buckley had many great moments but the scene he is most lionized for is the 1968 TV appearance when, after Gore Vidal bitchily called him a Nazi many times, Bill bounced back with, “Now listen, you queer, stop calling me a crypto-Nazi or I’ll sock you in your goddamn face, and you’ll stay plastered.” He didn’t demand an apology or insist Vidal be fired. He called him a queer and threatened to knock him out. Can we get back to that please? What’s so great about being civil? It doesn’t work. Many lament the prominence of cutthroat campaigns and attack ads but they’re the best way to get the dirt on both party’s candidates. Brawling is the American way. You can still wear a suit and feel strongly about family values. You can still be a God-fearing, pro-life traditionalist, but stop being so fucking polite to assholes.
Damn right and I'm starting now.
The Democrats are winning the culture war because they’re fighting dirty.

Remarket and Rebrand
Barack Obama doesn’t see anything wrong with Obamacare that can’t be fixed with a new and better ad program, and that’s a problem.
Battered by criticism over the troubled launch of Obamacare, President Obama said this week he is still confident his aides can fix the hobbled website. But he stressed, “We’re obviously going to have to remarket and rebrand” the program.
What it means is that he either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that insurance premiums are going through the roof. He either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that millions are losing the health insurance they want … and their doctors. He either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that young people are not signing up numbers that are needed to make the program viable. The problem with Obamacare is not fundamentally an image problem, it’s a design problem and the website is the least of its flaws.
When New Coke was a flop, Coca Cola didn’t blame it on poor marketing, they quickly understood that people didn’t want it and brought back the old Coke. When Johnson &Johnson found out that somebody was tampering with Tylenol they didn’t focus on marketing and branding. They didn’t run ads telling people not to worry, only a few people would die; they recalled the product and fixed it so that tampering was no longer possible.
That comment about “remarket and rebrand” is incredibly telling. It says that people simply don’t understand Obamacare, that his problem is a "glitch" during its introduction and a few weeks of bad press. It tells us that we’re there is not going to be any focus on fixing it, instead there will be some shuffling of dates to get past the next election and a 24/7 focus on getting the compliant press to ignore the problem. It's as of J&J handled the Tylenol poisonings with an ad campaign emphasizing it's effectiveness as a pain reliever. In Obama’s mind, Obamacare is perfect the way it is.
It makes me curious to see what information he’s receiving about how the rollout is actually proceeding. It makes me wonder if he’s delusional or being deluded. It's disturbing that after 5 years as President, his actions are so irrational that we're still not sure what to make of him.

The Day ObamaCare Died - American Pie Parody
Parody Downloaded in 2010. Funny but unfortunately it didn't die. Now people are going to die because Pelosi & Reid got it passed.
Little Stalins all the way down
The Virginian Pilot finally threw in the towel on ObamaCare.
I was shocked to read their editorial The disaster of ObamaCare. It was an incredible U-turn.
If you followed the Obama saga in the Virginian Pilot here’s a brief history of their editorial position.
It all started with "The One." Barack Obama was the Second Coming for people who did not believe in a heavenly savior. Those who opposed his policies were racist bigots. Period.
Ignoring an economy in crisis, trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye could see, millions losing their jobs, the Obama and the Democrats focused like a laser on taking control of the health care system. It was described as
- broken,
- out of step with the rest of the civilized world,
- worse than Cuban medical care,
- too expensive,
- discriminatory that left millions to die and drove the rest into bankruptcy for catching cold.
- The answer was ObamaCare.
ObamaCare was sold like “Shimmer” on Saturday Night Live: both a floor wax and a dessert topping. During the debate prior to its passage, at a time of record setting deficits, high unemployment and the “Great Recession” it was touted by Obama, Pelosi and Reid as the way to cut government spending, create jobs, spur the economy and bring American health care into the 21st Century and up to world standards under the brilliant guidance of the government.
When reality caught up with fantasy and ObamaCare was rolled out ...
- when the website that was supposed to be the portal to the brave new world of ObamaCare failed spectacularly,
- when millions of people received notices that the insurance they liked was going to be cancelled,
- that the assurances that they were told about keeping their insurance, their doctor and the money they were going to save were just lies,
... the Democrats in and out of the media panicked.
That brings us to the editors of the Virginian Pilot who, along with the rest of the MSM fed us these lies endlessly. With the wreckage of our health care system lying around us, they do what they do best, blame others.
Having the idea firmly planted in their brains that the answer to a collectivist disaster is another collectivist answer the editors demand that Republicans come up with THEIR PLAN. There has to be A PLAN because insurance companies are evil whose job it is to collect your premiums and refuse to pay your medical bills. Our Five Year Plan has failed Comrades, YOU come up with a new Five Year Plan. And if you don’t, you hate women, kids, the sick and the poor.
The editorial is also reminiscent of the man who tells his battered wife whose eye is now black and whose nose is bloody: “Why do you always make me do this?”
The Little Stalins at the Virginian Pilot are always looking for the collectivist solution. In their view, outside of the collective, without central planning, people are too stupid to make their own decisions and too stingy to help those who are less fortunate. Government is benevolent and corporations (except their own) are evil.
Having their government plan blow up in their faces, they will not see, they cannot see, any solution other than a government solution.

1. Ignore Republican Lies: ObamaCare Is Best Thing in 50 Years
9. You Seniors Are Going to Like ObamaCare
8. If Only Stupid Public Realized How Great ObamaCare Is
“The history of big social legislation like this is that there is this period before it kicks in, before people get used to the benefits, where there’s a lot of anxiety....There’s a lot of anxiety in the public, but there’s not a sense of all the good things that could come.”
— New York Times correspondent Matt Bai on ABC’s This Week, April 1, 2012.
7. Yes We Did...Ruin America’s Health Care System
“Yes, we did.....Without this concrete achievement, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi kept warning her troops, Democrats would have been stuck with their votes for reform bills and nothing to show for them. The real and imagined flaws of their proposed system would have been hung around their necks, yet they would have had no way of demonstrating its advantages. With success comes the chance to defend what is, in many of its particulars, the sort of plan a majority of Americans said they wanted. Yes, it is imperfect and it won’t come cheap. But it fills a gaping hole in the American social insurance system. It affords protections that Americans had long hoped for against insurance-company practices that could deny them coverage. It also grants the security of knowing that sickness would not carry the threat of bankruptcy....By temperament, the president is more a consensus builder than a warrior. But he is also a practical man who wants to accomplish big things. On Sunday, he did just that on health care, and he earned a place in history.”
— Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne in a March 22, 2010 column.
6. Just Wait Until Public Sees How Much ObamaCare is Going to Benefit Them
“On health care — that’s partly a failure of communication, it seem to me. How do you go a year and a half where so many Americans don’t even understand the benefits of this legislation when they apply to them?”
— New York Times columnist Tom Friedman on NBC’s Meet the Press, April 1, 2012.
5. NBC Doc: If We Don’t Get ObamaCare Passed We’re Not Going to be ‘A Great World Power’
“As a physician, you know, I felt like I understood the complexity of the problem. As an American citizen, I was rooting for the President to hit a home run....We’re going to pay big time if we don’t get this [Obama’s health care plan]. I don’t think we’re going to be a great world power.”
— NBC medical correspondent Dr. Nancy Snyderman on a special edition of MSNBC’s Hardball following President Obama’s July 22, 2009 press conference.
4. ObamaCare Will Reduce the Deficit!
“The Senate Finance Committee said today it will vote on its reform plan next week, and according to a new report from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, the plan costs less than expected and would actually reduce the deficit. So why do Republicans still oppose it?”
— Fill-in anchor Maggie Rodriguez on the CBS Evening News, October 8, 2009.
3. Once Morons ‘Understand’ ObamaCare, They’ll Be Thrilled
“A lot of people are going to like [the health care bill] a whole lot once they see what’s in it. For the first time, it’s got some long-term care in it, which everybody is desperate for as the population gets older. It’s paid for, totally paid-for long-term care insurance. So, I think that there’s a lot in the bill that people are going to like. It’s just a question of understanding it.”
— ABC’s Cokie Roberts on This Week, December 20, 2009.
2. Failure to Uphold ObamaCare = Death Sentence for Toddler
CNN senior medical correspondent Elizabeth Cohen: “These nine Supreme Court Justices will forever affect the life of 3-year-old Violet McManus. [to Julie Walters, Violet’s mother] Are you worried about what the Supreme Court might do?”
Julie Walters: “I’m really scared. Very scared. Like, ‘I can’t sleep’ scared.”
Cohen: “Violet’s mother, Julie, knows if the Justices overturn health care reform, Violet will lose her health insurance. [to Walters] Tell me why it’s scary for you.”
Walters: “Our daughter could die and there’s nothing we can do about it.”
— CNN Newsroom, March 27, 2012.
1. Ignore Republican Lies: ObamaCare Is Best Thing in 50 Years
“[Republicans] have spent their summer running around the country at town halls lying about ObamaCare. I’m not going to let them off the hook....Make no mistake. ObamaCare saves lives and it is good for America. You know, so much of what we see in the news is negative. But you know what? It’s not negative. This is the most positive thing that this country has done since the civil rights legislation that was passed back in the ’60s. And, of course, we know they’re trying to go after that, too.”
— Ed Schultz on MSNBC’s The Ed Show, August 26, 2013.
What's puzzling about Obama?
Walter Russell Mead - The Most Shocking Obamacare Revelation - is concerned and appears puzzled by the fact that Obama has not shaken up his staff for failing to alert him to the fact that the Obamacare rollout was going to be a fiasco. It was, after all, his signature achievement, the domestic policy on which his Presidency will be judged. How could he not care enough about it to keep close track of its development and implementation?
OK. On the website, I was not informed directly that the website would not be working as — the way it was supposed to. Ha[d] I been informed, I wouldn’t be going out saying, boy, this is going to be great. You know, I’m accused of a lot of things, but I don’t think I’m stupid enough to go around saying, this is going to be like shopping on Amazon or Travelocity, a week before the website opens, if I thought that it wasn’t going to work. This was eyepopping. Obamacare is the single most important initiative of his presidency. The website rollout was, as the President himself has repeatedly stated, the most important element of the law’s debut. Domestically speaking there was no higher priority for the President and his staff than getting this right. And the President is telling the world that a week before the disaster he had no idea how that website was doing.
I have a theory. It’s as wild as Jack Welch’s theory in 2012 that the unemployment report was being manipulated. But it makes sense if you stop analyzing Obama in the traditional sense: as someone who wanted to be President to do something or to be someone. How about viewing the Presidency as a way to get rich?
I have always viewed Obama as an accidental President. At the end of Bush’s second term the “inevitable” Democrat candidate was Hillary Clinton. I believe that Obama initially ran to raise his visibility and perhaps lay down a marker for a high ranking position, or a future candidacy after the Hillary presidency. But in a surprise to everyone, race trumped sex for the media who adopted Obama as their pet. One added factor was the Conservative community’s hatred of the Clintons who were widely viewed as both immoral and corrupt. As a result, most of the hostile fire was directed at Hillary while Obama was largely unknown. Being so new, he had no public record. Thus his race, his ability to mirror people’s innermost wants and desires back at them, plus the financial crisis that erupted near late in 2008 led to his election.
Once in office, no one in my memory has enjoyed the trappings of the Presidency as much as the Obamas. From "date night" in New York to incredibly lavish parties while millions lost their jobs, the Obamas live the high life. I’m persuaded that Obama views the Presidency in much the same way as the Mexican presidents view their office, as a way of getting very wealthy. The Mexicans do it like conventional third world dictators do: via graft while in office. The Clintons showed us how U.S. presidents can shamelessly use their former status to become incredibly wealthy. You can be sure that Obama will follow that path.
So if I’m right, and time will tell, America has a President who likes the trappings of office, likes to play golf and is really not that concerned with either foreign or domestic issues. In Obama’s view America was there before he took office, will be there after he leaves, and will provide him with the lifestyle of the Presidency (minus Air Force One) for the rest of his life. In the meantime, “no drama Obama” will do or say anything to remain where he is until he achieves his goal of a super-rich retirement. When people say it’s all about “him” they have no idea how right they are.
Census ‘faked’ 2012 election jobs report
President Asterisk.
Let's see, the IRS harasses Obama's opponents, Candy Crowley gets in the ring and slams Romney during the debates and now we learn that the employment numbers were faked. In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington. The decline — from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed. The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated. And the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.Just two years before the presidential election, the Census Bureau had caught an employee fabricating data that went into the unemployment report, which is one of the most closely watched measures of the economy. And a knowledgeable source says the deception went beyond that one employee — that it escalated at the time President Obama was seeking reelection in 2012 and continues today.“He’s not the only one,” said the source, who asked to remain anonymous for now but is willing to talk with the Labor Department and Congress if asked. The Census employee caught faking the results is Julius Buckmon, according to confidential Census documents obtained by The Post. Buckmon told me in an interview this past weekend that he was told to make up information by higher-ups at Census.
Their credibility is shot. See Chrissy ("thrill up his leg") Matthews challenge Jack Welch on this very topic.
UPDATE: Ace of Spades explains:

Let's review: the labor Department gets its data from the Census Bureau which the Obama Administration put under its direct control, unlike previous Presidents who may have wanted to manipulate employment statistics, but could not (view the Welch/Matthews video where Matthews says that Nixon could not do what Obama was able to do).
UPDATE 2: Zero Hedge
UPDATE 2: Zero Hedge
On Friday October 5, 2012, the BLS released what was arguably the most important report of Obama's first term: the final jobs number, and unemployment rate before the November 2012 presidential election. As so many predicted, it "plunged" from 8.1% to 7.8% allowing the president to conduct countless teleprompted speeches praising the success of his economic recovery. It also served as the basis for the infamous Jack Welch tweet: "Unbelievable jobs numbers..these Chicago guys will do anything..can't debate so change numbers" and prompted the pro-Obama media to quickly brand all those who questioned it as conspiracy theorists. The Atlantic did perhaps the most exemplary job in its task to discredit the "random anonymous cranks" who challenged the bullshit spewed by the administration's manipulative economic data reporting apparatus. Navy SEALs cite shabby treatment by Team Obama
As Team Obama fundamentally transforms America, the military is part of that transformation.
Navy SEALs are the toast of America, but revelations show that the top brass has not always watched their backs during the Obama administration.SEALs have brought exhilarating moments for the White House. The storied SEAL Team 6 killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan in 2011 and rescued U.S. cargo ship captain Richard Phillips from Somali pirates in 2009. Hollywood transformed both operations into blockbuster movies — with the administration’s help. But some in the special operations community cite shabby treatment.A book by Billy Vaughn, father of a SEAL killed in the Aug. 6, 2011, shootdown of a Chinook helicopter in Afghanistan, blames the administration for leaking too much information about his son’s unit.Another book by two former SEALs tells the “shameful ordeal” they endured based on allegations of prisoner abuse by one unreliable sailor and one determined terrorist. Instead of issuing gratitude for nabbing the “butcher of Fallujah” in Iraq in 2009, U.S. Central Command court-martialed the SEALs on felony charges. The two authors and a third SEAL were acquitted by military juries when the prosecution’s case fall apart.

The N-Word
Bud Norman would prefer that no one use the N-word, including those with skin of a darker hue than mine.
The notion that the word is acceptable when used by someone of a darker skin color is now commonplace. A professional basketball player who used the slur in a “tweet” was recently fined $25,000 for the offense, a sizeable amount even to someone drawing professional basketball player’s salary, and he offered the same justification. The resultant controversy prompted two well-known dark-hued sports broadcasters to admit that they use the slur routinely, with neither offering any apology for the habit, and one indignantly implied that criticism of the practice is an effort by lighter-skinned people to dictate the behavior of their darker brethren. Both agree that lighter-skinned people should not be permitted use of the word, but for reasons having to do with linguistic empowerment or something it should be widely used by the darker-skinned.Although we have no desire to dictate the behavior of anyone, beyond the obvious rules against rape and robbery and murder and such that the requirements of a civilized society, but it does seem a sign of strange times that the stigma against racial slurs is regarded as racist and racial equality is to be achieved by having different rules of social etiquette for different races. We would prefer that the word fall into disuse for the same old-fashioned reasons that we were taught to avoid it, because it is rude and vulgar, but that seems unlikely now that rudeness and vulgarity are celebrated as authentic self-expression and righteous rebellion against rules that vanished decades ago. The great appeal of racial slurs is that they’re only words left with any shock value, and the easiest way to gain all-important attention is to shout them with a carefully posed defiance at a gullible media.

Insurance companies would be insane to offer plans that failed to comply with the ACA.
Andy McCarthy
As a practical matter, it is nearly inconceivable that insurance companies would be able to reissue the canceled health-care plans. The process, as Avik Roy expertly explains, is too extensive and complex to complete in the few weeks between now and Obamacare’s coverage deadline — something that an administration that can’t, after three years, get a functioning website running should know. But even if it could be done, the insurance companies would be insane to offer plans that failed to comply with the letter of the Obamacare statute. Similarly, the state insurance commissioners would be insane to permit them, and Americans would be insane to buy them. The policies would be legally unenforceable.
Repeat: The policies would be legally unenforceable. Policies that don't comply with the law can't be enforced in court. For example, you can't sue a hit man for failing to kill someone if he signed a contract to do so. If a woman buys a policy that does not cover maternity care so that she will get a lower premium can sue the insurance company for maternity care because the insurance company issued an illegal policy.
To repeat: insurance companies would be insane to offer plans that failed to comply with the letter of the Obamacare statute. Similarly, the state insurance commissioners would be insane to permit them, and Americans would be insane to buy them.

The Cost of Press Corruption
The corruption I’m referring to is, of course, hiding the truth about ObamaCare until this monstrous fraud went into effect and imperiled the health care of everyone in the country. The press knew before the law passed what the truth was, thanks to Congressional hearings Four years ago, GOP showed exactly what was false about Obama’s keep-your-coverage promise. But in the words of "Instapundit" Glenn Reynolds, even after the truth was revealed:
....the press continued to treat Obama’s promise as true — and the critics as lying racists — until, oh, about last week or so.
The servile press knew that ObamaCare was designed to completely overturn America’s health care system. They knew that President Obama repeatedly lied when he said that people would be able to keep their health insurance if they like it. They knew that President Obama repeatedly lied when he said that people could keep their doctor if they like him. They knew that President Obama repeatedly lied when he said that people would see their premiums go down by $2500 under ObamaCare. The shameless hacks in the press were aiding and abetting a fraud on the American people knowing full well that it was a sting. They wanted the American people thinking their health insurance and doctor were going to be there if ObamaCare was not the better bargain they were told it would be. They lied until it was too late.
Make no mistake, the bottom feeding scum suckers of the press were doing the lying. Of course they were repeating the lies of Obama, the father of this lie. But as the spreaders of this shameless propaganda they amplified and drove it home with endless repetition.
But, you say, that the press was fooled by Obama. On the contrary. There were plenty of people who could see the obvious:
- That you could not insure millions more
- Maintain the current level of care
- Insure the chronically ill for the same price as the healthy
- And still cut costs.
There were even those who bothered to read this 2000 page monstrosity and knew what the law said and how it was going to be implemented. To see the obvious did not require expertise in insurance or even in math, all it took was the reasoning ability of the average adult.
Of course the members of the press can fall back on the excuses that Obama’s been using: that he is unaware of things that every American knows. That “shovel ready jobs” aren’t, and that buying insurance is complicated. It’s really an admission of stupidity and it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that Obama’s that stupid; that his only skills are giving speeches and telling lies without remorse. But are the members of the press really ready to admit that they’re stupid? I’ll grant you that many are. After all, being able to write in complete sentences with the help of an editor is no guarantee that you can also tie your shoe laces. But there are literally thousands of people who call themselves reporters and editors and when you get that many people focused on an issue there is a certain amount of collective intelligence. Like the million monkeys who eventually end up writing all of Shakespeare by hitting random typewriter keys. There is no excuse for ignorance in this, they knew.
No, the logic of this scandal is that the press knew the President was pulling a “sting” and they were his happy co-conspirators. They adored the man, Obama, (he sent a thrill up their legs) and they loved the idea of government control so much that they were willing to scam the American people. And now that the scam’s exposed they are trying to tell everyone that they’re innocent.
But that’s a lie. Obama knew he could not carry off the con without the active connivance of the press. Like Newman and Redford in The Sting, Obama needed a large cast of characters to fool his marks and the press enthusiastically volunteered. Obama got what he wanted, the press got what it wanted and the American people have been fleeced of their money, their insurance and their doctors. Now the press is busy cleaning up and covering up their part in the scandal. To convince people to quietly walk away. This is called "cooling the mark."
In my local paper this morning there is an article about a public meeting on ObamaCare. The reporter referred to the ObamaCare lies as "mistakes" and quoted the government shill defending this bill as part of the "social contract." I want to know who signed this particular contract for me because I didn't. They are trying their best to get us to walk away and accept their scam after a brief grumble. Sorry. There are too many shoes still to be dropped. The people who get their insurance through their employers are going to find that they have also been scammed, like the people who bought their insurance as individuals. The biggest parts of this scam are ahead of us; the effects have barely begun. The ones who participated in it, Democrats in government and in the press, are going to regret it. Many of us are not marks and we won't be "cooled."

Millions Who Lost Health Insurance Are All Racists For Being Furious With Liar-In-Chief
Billionaire Oprah Winfrey says people lack respect for the Liar-in-Chief because of the color of his skin.
Some disagree ...
Level of disrespect?I'll tell you a level of disrespect, you hateful shrew:How about disrespecting the millions of Americans who just lost their health care after being promised dozens of times by the Liar-In-Chief that they could "keep their plans"?How about disrespecting the families of those killed in Benghazi? A president who lied right to their faces about the cause of the attack and didn't lift a finger to save them. How about disrespecting the families of the hundreds killed by Operation Fast and Furious? A president who gave or sold thousands of military-grade weapons to Mexican drug cartels as part of a truly evil plot to demonize gun-owners.How about disrespecting all of those conservatives, Christian, and pro-Israel groups targeted by Obama? A president who used the IRS to win the 2012 election and then lied about it.You're a hack, a clueless know-nothing, a Leftist kook who claims entirely legitimate criticism of the Liar-In-Chief's outrageous activities is based on "racism".Go drink a nice, tall glass of shut-up juice and get the hell off of my television.

"It’s Barry’s world; we just live in it." Mark Steyn: Thus Spake Obama
There is only one Mark Steyn and he is able to skewer pompous idiots like no other. Read the whole thing.
The reason for the benign Sovereign’s exercise of the Royal Prerogative is that millions of his subjects — or “folks,” as he prefers to call us, no fewer than 27 times during his press conference — have had their lives upended by Obamacare. Your traditional hard-core statist, surveying the mountain of human wreckage he has wrought, usually says, “Well, you can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.” But Obama is the first to order that his omelet be unscrambled and the eggs put back in their original shells. Is this even doable? No. That’s the point. When it doesn’t work, he’ll be able to give another press conference blaming the insurance companies, or the state commissioners, or George W. Bush . . .The most telling line, the one that encapsulates the gulf between the boundless fantasies of the faculty-lounge utopian and the messiness of reality, was this: “What we’re also discovering is that insurance is complicated to buy.” Gee, thanks for sharing, genius. Maybe you should have thought of that before you governmentalized one-sixth of the economy. By “we,” the president means “I.” Out here in the ruder provinces of his decrepit realm, we “folks” are well aware of how complicated insurance is. What isn’t complicated in the Sultanate of Sclerosis? But, as with so many other things, Obama always gives the vague impression that routine features of humdrum human existence are entirely alien to him. Marie Antoinette, informed that the peasantry could no longer afford bread, is alleged to have responded, “Let them eat cake.” There is no evidence these words ever passed her lips, but certainly no one ever accused her of saying, “If you like your cake, you can keep your cake,” and then having to walk it back with “What we’re also discovering is that cake is complicated to buy.” That contribution to the annals of monarchical unworldliness had to await the reign of Queen Barry Antoinette, whose powdered wig seems to have slipped over his eyes.Still, as historian Michael Beschloss pronounced the day after his election, he’s “probably the smartest guy ever to become president.” Naturally, Obama shares this assessment. As he assured us five years ago, “I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors.” Well, apart from his signature health-care policy. That’s a mystery to him. “I was not informed directly that the website would not be working,” he told us. The buck stops with something called “the executive branch,” which is apparently nothing to do with him. As evidence that he was entirely out of the loop, he offered this:Had I been I informed, I wouldn’t be going out saying, “Boy, this is going to be great.” You know, I’m accused of a lot of things, but I don’t think I’m stupid enough to go around saying, “This is going to be like shopping on Amazon or Travelocity,” a week before the website opens, if I thought that it wasn’t going to work.
Ooooo-kay. So, if I follow correctly, the smartest president ever is not smart enough to ensure that his website works; he’s not smart enough to inquire of others as to whether his website works; he’s not smart enough to check that his website works before he goes out and tells people what a great website experience they’re in for. But he is smart enough to know that he’s not stupid enough to go around bragging about how well it works if he’d already been informed that it doesn’t work. So he’s smart enough to know that if he’d known what he didn’t know he’d know enough not to let it be known that he knew nothing. The country’s in the very best of hands.
The "Knockout" Game
It's a Black thing, you wouldn't understand.
Apparently it's gotten popular enough that the news media has finally discovered it. Up to now they pretended it didn't happen. The victims and perpetrators were not the right color to fit the Liberal narrative.
Jews feel picked on, but they're just random victims.
The press is very, very good at hiding things they don't want discovered. Like the fact that Obama lied about ObamaCare which they knew but covered up for three years.
They even cover up racist gang attacks on their own, like this example from the Virginian Pilot.
And remember Trayvon Martin? There were any number of conjectures as to why he attacked George Zimmerman. Having read about the attack in Baltimore, I was always of the opinion that he was just playing the "Knockout" game. The attack described by Zimmerman fits the description. But Zimmerman wasn't knocked cold and Trayvon lost the game.

“The president’s own commissioned and non-commissioned officer corps”
That is part of the mis-named "Affordable Care Act" commonly known as ObamaCare. But what is it?

Katrina vs.ObamaCare
The Katrina analogy would be a great one if George W. Bush had deliberately started a devastating storm on a party-line vote.

ObamaCare law is doing exactly what it was supposed to.
There’s a lot of chatter in Washington that Democrats on the Hill feel like they were lied to or misled by the White House. But if you understand how our Constitution works — and they should, given that they only took an oath to defend it — it’s Obama who should feel lied to.The law is really quite clear. It was so clear that the Congressional Budget Office — their own in-house think tank — said that millions would lose their health-care plans. Obama even said so with the Democratic leadership in the room.More to the point, the law was intended to cause millions of people to lose their existing plans so they would enter the exchanges. Now the same people who literally wrote the law feel betrayed when the law does exactly what they intended. That’s like getting mad at a remote-control car when you crash it. Yes, the website’s failures make the panic more acute, but the fact remains that the Affordable Care Act is doing precisely what it’s supposed to do.
The Left lives in an echo chamber. The entire collective believed their own propaganda that the country had a health care crisis. That's what they said. That's what the media faithfully amplified. What they did not realize was that most people were satisfied with their health care and their insurance. So when this was yanked away from them they got really, really mad.

"Incorrect promises"
"If you like your health plan you can keep it."
“Honey, I didn’t break my wedding vows. That was just an incorrect promise.”
What does Congress think of “enforcement discretion”
Bud Norman has another good piece on Obama's latest foray into lawlessness.
Wonder what Congress thinks of “enforcement discretion?” Sort of leaves Reid, Pelosi and the rest of the congress critters as powerless eunuchs.
Obama tells insurers to break the law because he won't enforce it.
That will work ... not!Earlier this week, former President Bill Clinton advised President Obama to "honor the commitment" he made and to allow Americans to keep their health care plans, if they like them. That was a central promise Obama made when he sold Obamacare, but one that turned out not to be true when Obamacare began to be implemented last month."So I personally believe, even if it takes a change to the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got," Clinton in an interview released Tuesday. Now President Obama is taking Clinton's advice and trying to honor that commitment. In remarks today at the White House today, Obama said, "I completely get how upsetting this can be" to lose insurance plans that I promised Americans would be able to keep. "To those Americans, I hear you loud and clear."But there's a catch with president's proposed solution. The president is not proposing that the law be changed to allow all health insurance plans grandfathered into Obamacare's eligibility requirements. No, instead the White House is saying that it will use "enforcement discretion" to allow illegal health insurance plans to be able to still be sold. That is, the Obama administration will not enforce the penalty on individuals for not having eligible health insurance plans and they'll allow the insurance companies to still sell so-called bad plans -- plans they technically can't sell under ObamaCare.
This is insanity on stilts. What company would leave itself open to death by lawsuit is they actually did this?
