Toomey seems to think he’s there to get things done. As a Republican in the current Senate, his chief role is to stop bad things from happening.
Some Republicans are so stupid that they think that they will get Democrats to vote for them if they adopt Democrat positions. But why would a Democrat vote for a half-assed Republican when he can vote for a complete assed Democrat?
Some see politics at play for Toomey, who is up for reelection in 2016 in a state that hasn’t supported a GOP president since 1988.
