Sorry, Media: Polls Show Majorities Side with Indiana’s Christian Pizzeria

That puts a majority of Americans are on the side of Memories Pizza,
... the small Indiana establishment currently being smeared far and wide in the media for their public claim that while they are happy to serve same-sex couples at their restaurant, their religious beliefs would not allow them to cater a same sex wedding.

The liars in the media are in a small minority, but thanks to the media megaphone they sound much bigger than they are.

The margins were even larger in opposition to laws that proposed “penalties or fines for individuals who refuse to provide wedding-related services to same sex couples even if their refusal is based on their religious beliefs.” … [A]according to Marist, Americans oppose penalties on businesses like Memories by a 65-31 margin. The margin among Democrats: 62-34 against.
The Democrats and the media - but I repeat myself - are trying to stamp out the right to our own conscience, trying to steamroller the American public in the name of "fairness."  Well, they got the victim of their hate, but it will be a Pyrrhic victory. Memories Pizza closed after being deluged by an avalanche of hate mail, twitter attacks, much of it obscene or violent.  One women's sports coach tried to organize a gang to burn the shop down.  The family that owns the shop is staying behind closed doors at their home in fear of their lives.

Note, this vicious campaign was cooked up by the voices of "tolerance and love."

As a side note, a member of that lynch mob was Norfolk talker Tony Macrini who regularly fulminates against Christians during his morning rants.   He's one of the self righteous media jerks who make their money selling airtime to a credulous public who listen to him spew hate for those who don't believe what he does.

As part of the media disinformation campaign, a local radio station said that in their poll, 65% of those polled felt it was wrong for businesses to discriminate. Of course there was no mention that this has nothing to do with the issue at hand, but to the media facts are just minor details.
