Twitter suspended key provisions of her Twitter account because, they said, she “violated” unexplained rules.

This was the tinder. The tech revolution was the match—one-upping the ’70s economy by demanding more efficiency and more speed and more boundarylessness, and demanding it everywhere. They introduced not only a host of inhuman wage-suppressing tactics, like replacing full-time employees with benefits with gig workers with lower wages and no benefits, but also a whole new aesthetic that has come to dominate every aspect of our lives—a set of principles that collectively might be thought of as flatness.

Flatness is the reason the three jobs with the most projected growth in your country all earn less than $27,000 a year, and it is also the reason that all the secondary institutions that once gave structure and meaning to hundreds of millions of American lives—jobs and unions but also local newspapers, churches, Rotary Clubs, main streets—have been decimated. And flatness is the mechanism by which, over the past decade and with increasing velocity over the last three years, a single ideologically driven cohort captured the entire interlocking infrastructure of American cultural and intellectual life. It is how the Long March went from a punchline to reality, as one institution after another fell and then entire sectors, like journalism, succumbed to control by narrow bands of sneering elitists who arrogated to themselves the license to judge and control the lives of their perceived inferiors....

To appropriate an old phrase, I never thought I would see the day.

 I never thought I would see the day that the tech giants of social media would shut down free speech in the United States of America. Thankfully the watchdog press and Congress are up in arms over this and are demanding accountability.  Oh, that’s not what’s happening? They aren’t up in arms? Shut Up!!!!!

Big tech oligarchs isolated the President of the United States and cut him off from communicating freely with the American people thru social media and instead of officialdom being irate, they applaud or remain silent. Seemingly Big Tech isn’t worried about repercussions. If that doesn’t scare you, it should.

The 2020 election is one for the books. It was a whirlwind with COVID changing the rules of everything. President Trump held massive airport rallies while Biden/Harris had few appearances with few in attendance. On election night, the President built up comfortable leads in several key battleground states, and then for unknown reasons these states stopped counting votes only to start again in the wee hours of the morning. When we woke up those leads were gone as thousands of votes were added for Biden and only handfuls for Trump. The numbers were so overwhelming that experts said they were statistically impossible. In Georgia, hand counted military ballots went overwhelmingly to Biden; mail in ballots were found to have no folds, no record of postage. Video shows election workers feeding the same stack of ballots through a tabulator several times. Poll workers  complained of voting irregularities and inability to effectively observe the process. Many people signed affidavits swearing under penalty of perjury to witnessing voter fraud. These witnesses were mocked and maligned.  In Wayne County the Republican canvassers voted to not certify but were intimidated into changing their vote and so our state canvassers certified the vote in Michigan.

If the suspicions of fraud were false, if the voting machines were not corrupted, wouldn’t examination be welcomed to prove that all was well? If this election was as free, open, and honest as we have been told by officials and Joe Biden really did get more votes than Barack Obama, wouldn’t he be demanding it be proven? Instead of the light of day, there are threats from the Michigan Attorney General to investigate anyone who dares challenge the results. If that doesn’t worry you, it should.

January the 6^th was the day that the Congress was to count the electoral votes to decide the presidency.  Thousands and thousands of people made the trip to DC on their own dime and own time to show support for the president as Senators and Representatives determined how to proceed.  Here was the opportunity to decide whether to hear evidence of voter fraud. The constitution says that the State Legislatures are the ones responsible for election law and they decide which set of electors to accept. The several states that sent two sets of electoral votes could potentially go back and decide which set of votes they want to submit.

Not so fast.  On this day when every Congressman was in the Capital building, when hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters were in DC, when Antifa and BLM were at the ready, it seems security at the Capital would be rock solid. But it wasn’t. More and more information is being reported about who was at the Capital building, who scaled the walls and who brought tools to break windows. A few trained instigators know to how stir up a crowd.  The purpose of the debate in Congress was effectively thwarted and the final vote was a forgone conclusion.  Coincidence?  You decide.

Several people died that day:  a young woman shot, a policeman bludgeoned, a stroke, a heart attack,  one person was crushed.  All tragic. Also tragic is the fact that the integrity of the vote was forgotten as the focus shifted to condemnation. After downplaying rampaging destruction across America for months, euphemistically known as mostly peaceful protests, the media now focuses on the riot at the Capital and voter fraud is a phrase that can get you cancelled.

Joe Biden claims he ran for president because of Trumps remarks at Charlottesville, remarks which Trump didn’t make.  Trump is accused of riling up this crowd with his speech; except he didn’t. The weather was cold; the speech was long as he reiterated examples of voter irregularities. Play the tape and see. That doesn’t stop people like Representative Hank Johnson from spreading lies. Maybe you remember Johnson as the man who feared Guam would tip over if too many Marines were stationed there. For some reason Johnson, representing DeKalb County, Georgia, was sure if the mob had gotten to the third floor he would have been swinging from the balcony like fruit on a tree. These people write our laws, and if that doesn’t scare you, it should.

From the party espousing a new spirit of unity, Senator Josh Hawley lost his book deal, Trump supporters on a plane chanting USA USA are threatened by the pilot with setting the plane down and going on without them, in another instance people were kicked off a plane before it even took off. A Forbes executive stated that unless Trump supporters repent of their sins of working for him, they’ll never work again. If this doesn’t scare you, it should.

Testing for voter fraud

 John Lott has now produced a statistical analysis that suggests substantial voter fraud in Fulton County, Georgia and Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.  For the entire study, go HERE.

Here's the introduction and the reason why few countries allow the kind of mail-in ballots that were used to potentially steal the 2020 election:

Courts have frequently rejected Republican challenges to the 2020 presidential vote because they want evidence that a case involves enough fraud to alter the vote’s outcome in a particular state. Republicans argue that since their observers couldn’t watch the vote count, they can’t provide that evidence and have asked for discovery. Still, while the courts have agreed that irregularities have occurred, they weren’t willing to grant discovery unless Republicans first present enough evidence of fraud to overturn the election. Republicans thus faced a kind of Catch 22.

This paper’s approach allows us to quantify how large a potential problem vote fraud and other abnormalities might be in the 2020 election. The process is applicable to other states where precinct-level data is available on voting by absentee and in-person voting. Concerns over fraud with absentee ballots is not something limited to Republicans in the United States. Indeed, many European countries have voting rules stricter to prevent fraud than what we have in the United States.  

For example, 74% entirely ban absentee voting for citizens who live in their country. Another 6% allow it, but have very restrictive rules, such as limiting it to those in the military or are in a hospital, and they require evidence that those conditions are met. Another 15% allow absentee ballots but require that one has to present a photo voter ID to acquire it. Thirty-five percent of European countries completely ban absentee ballots for even those living outside their country.

The pattern is similar for developed countries. Many of these countries have learned the hard way about what happens when mail-in ballots aren’t secured. They have also discovered how hard it is to detect vote buying when both those buying and selling the votes have an incentive to hide the exchange.

DID THE DEMOCRATS STEAL THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION?

 Democrats are making extraordinary efforts to suppress all discussion of whether Joe Biden actually won the 2020 presidential election. In fact, they go even farther: they want to suppress all discussion of the extent to which voter fraud occurred. That naturally makes me want to write about voter fraud, and who really won the election.

First, this question: why are the Democrats so hysterical in their insistence that fraud not be mentioned? One reason is obvious. Joe Biden will take office under a cloud, since close to half of all Americans doubt that he really won the election. The Democrats want to stamp out such doubts to preserve Biden’s authority as president.

But there is a second reason that may be more important. The Democrats want the lax voting procedures that prevailed in 2020 to continue in the future. They know that efforts will be made in many states to improve ballot integrity, and they want those efforts to fail. By rendering all discussion of voter fraud out of bounds, they hope to forestall reforms that would make it harder for them to cheat, or enable cheating, in the future.

So, did the Democrats steal the presidential election, or not? I don’t know the answer to that question. No one does. A number of statistical analyses have been done, which on their face suggest large irregularities. I wrote about one such analysis, by John Lott, here.

Twitter is very dangerous

 Retired Chicago Firefighter Accused Of Participating In Capitol Riot. He Was 600 Miles Away

And Twitter made it all possible.

Retired Chicago firefighter David Quintavalle had a pretty normal Wednesday last week. He went grocery shopping at Aldi in the morning, and spent the evening celebrating his wife’s birthday with home-cooked lobster and steak. His son, a Chicago police officer, celebrated as well. The next day, Quintavalle went to Home Depot.

None of this should be news, because these are things that normal people do regularly. But for Quintavalle, an otherwise normal day was shattered when he was publicly and falsely accused of being the man who attacked a U.S. Capitol Police officer with a fire extinguisher. That officer, Brian Sicknick, later died from his injuries.

“Some woman from British Columbia showed the [surveillance] picture of the guy wearing CFD stocking cap and a beard like I’ve had, and file footage when I was protesting the city inappropriately scoring the fire lieutenants exam, and said, ‘This is the guy.’ And the ball started rolling. Everybody started saying, ‘Here’s the guy,'” he added.

Within hours of the false identification, Quintavalle started receiving phone calls from strangers calling him a “f***ing murderer.” Reporters camped out in front of his house....

“Social media has killed David Quintavalle. This has been an absolute disaster to him personally and his family. There’s a cop car outside his house. It’s over a picture that kind of looks like him because people sitting behind a keyboard with no proof or evidence are throwing out these tweets, and they’re wrong. Holy smokes, it’s eye-opening how terrifying social media can be when something like this happens,”

Question: what liability does Twitter have for destroying this man's life?  Jack Dorsey and his band of punks made it possible for him to be attacked.  Dorsey already makes editorial decisions about what gets posted on Twitter.  David Quintavalle should file a very, very large lawsuit against Dorsey, Twitter, and the goons working for him.

Defiant NJ Gym Has Bank Account Wiped by Democratic Governor

Atilis Gym co-owner Ian Smith has made a name for himself for standing up to New Jersey’s COVID-19 restrictions on businesses, despite Governor Phil Murphy’s repeated attempts to shut him down through citations, fines, arrests, having their business license stripped, and their doors locked and barricaded. 

This week, Murphy escalated the fight.

“As of this morning, without warning, and without permission, and in the middle of litigation, Governor Murphy took it upon himself to empty our bank account entirely, to the tune of $165,000,” explained Smith on a video posted to social media. 

He said it still wouldn’t stop him. 

“We will continue to fight this fight because we know, based upon what is outlined in the Constitution, that when we get to the right courts and in front of a judge who respects the Constitution, we will win this case,” he continued. “And we will make sure that no governor, or no government official, will ever wield these powers ever again."

I Saw Provocateurs At The Capitol Riot On Jan. 6

 The deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol bore the markings of an organized operation planned well in advance of the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress.

A small number of cadre appeared to use the cover of a huge rally to stage its attack. Before it began, I saw from my vantage point on the West Front of the Capitol what appeared to be four separate cells or units:

1. Plainclothes militants. Militant, aggressive men in Donald Trump and MAGA gear at a front police line at the base of the temporary presidential inaugural platform;
2. Agents-provocateurs. Scattered groups of men exhorting the marchers to gather closely and tightly toward the center of the outside of the Capitol building and prevent them from leaving;
3. Fake Trump protesters. A few young men wearing Trump or MAGA hats backwards and who did not fit in with the rest of the crowd in terms of their actions and demeanor, whom I presumed to be Antifa or other leftist agitators; and
4. Disciplined, uniformed column of attackers. A column of organized, disciplined men, wearing similar but not identical camouflage uniforms and black gear, some with helmets and GoPro cameras or wearing subdued Punisher skull patches.

 Tuesday, Twitter Public Policy tweeted in response to reports that Ugandan internet service providers were blocking social media and messaging apps.

“We strongly condemn internet shutdowns,” tweeted Twitter Public Policy, “they are hugely harmful, violate basic human rights and the principles of the #OpenInternet.”

And in the very NEXT tweet, they talk about how they worked with their “peers” to suspend a whole bunch of accounts “targeting” the election.

The Salt That Has Lost Its Savor: The Woke Church and the Undoing of America

This is because evangelicals in the English-speaking world have confused Christ’s command to love others with being civil as if that were an attribute of God. (It isn’t.) As a consequence, a superficial, self-righteous, good-for-nothing pietism that prefers tone to truth and style to substance has displaced authentic Christianity in many of the roughly four hundred thousand churches in America. This doctrinal malpractice has given us a generation of men, Christian and otherwise, who are what Lewis called “men without chests.”

With a likeness to the Uncle Sam “I want you” poster, the disrupter-in-chief reaffirms in 14 words the belief of Trump Nation that the political establishment, the media, the permanent bureaucracy and yes, the deep state are trying to crush him and them.

The president tweeted the image the day House Democrats voted to impeach him, and hours after his raucous rally in Michigan that evening.

The tweet included no added comment because none was needed. The message is clear: I am all that stands between you and the barbarians at the gate. If I fall, you are next.

So today, Emmanuel Goldstein Donald Trump is hatching a plot to attack the capital of every state on inauguration day.  But never fear, The FBI (and Ralph Northam) is on the case and unmasked the nefarious plot by Trump's supporters. 

Because the real danger was not Trump, but the 70 to 80 million people that support him.  They must be crushed, humiliated, and exposed for the wreckers that they are.

It is not necessary, though, for the All-Purpose Enemy to be that real. The Deep State decided five years ago that "Russia" was behind anything that advantaged Trump: The Kremlin had bought a hundred grand's worth of Facebook ads and a bunch of "Macedonian content farmers" and loosed them on the presidential election to devastating effect. An entire election cycle later, the Democrats and the media declared as one that they would not be addressing the matter of Hunter Biden's laptop because it was "Russian disinformation". Which is, in Orwell's very well-chosen words:

And so tens of millions of apparently sane Americans believe Trump is a Russian agent and that Putin somehow dropped off a fake laptop at a Delaware computer shop.

And perhaps there is a reason – as the tech companies grew, they realised the world was a little more complex than their playground liberalism had led them to think.

What constitutes respectable opinion and what does not? Because they grew at an astonishing rate, companies such as Twitter had no idea how to handle these questions. And the people they hoovered up to work for them didn’t help them much.

BIG TECH IS EVIL

 You might think the most powerful man in the world is the President of the United States. But you would be wrong.

Because as this past week has shown, the Big Tech companies have power over even him. No one in human history has had the kind of reach and influence now wielded by a small group of men on the west coast of America....

Despite Google’s famous early slogan, what they and other Big Tech companies have done throughout their history really is distinctly, deeply, evil.

Twitter, for instance, has become one of the most powerful companies in the world – accumulating vast sums of money for a tiny number of people.

The business model is simple. Every time some great controversy occurs, it enriches Twitter, which makes money from advertising, data harvesting and much more. (Yet it relies on others – you, me, people across the planet – to point out errors and correct what it publishes for free.)...

And as they have come to dominate, the way they have used their power has become increasingly outrageous. Before the November election in the US, a major corruption scandal emerged about the family of Joe Biden. The story was broken over successive days by the New York Post – America’s oldest and most venerable paper.

How did the tech platforms react? In the most egregious way imaginable. They censored the story.

Facebook and Twitter suspended the New York Post’s social media accounts. What is more, they prevented any and all other users from ‘sharing’ this story. So ahead of an election they decided what the American people could or could not know about one of their candidates. They did it because they wanted Joe Biden to win....

YouTube has a long history of simply lying about its own behaviour. Because it will get away with it. Because Big Tech always does.

But this week the companies made their biggest move yet, with Facebook and Twitter banning Trump. Twitter also suspended his National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and former Federal Prosecutor Sidney Powell, both Trump loyalists.

Blaming, or pointing fingers are Twitter, Facebook, Google and Apple is wrong.  A company is a curtain behind which actual people act.  In this case, actual people with actual names are committing unimaginable evil acts.  

The Curtain must be raised and these people exposed for the global criminals they are.

Trying to incite a military coup is sedition.

 Ms. Pelosi also said she had spoken with Gen. Mark A. Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, about “preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes.”

A spokesman for General Milley, Col. Dave Butler, confirmed that the two had spoken and said the general had “answered her questions regarding the process of nuclear command authority.”

But some Defense Department officials have privately expressed anger that political leaders seemed to be trying to get the Pentagon to do the work of Congress and Cabinet secretaries, who have legal options to remove a president.

Mr. Trump, they noted, is still the commander in chief, and unless he is removed, the military is bound to follow his lawful orders. While military officials can refuse to carry out orders they view as illegal, they cannot proactively remove the president from the chain of command. That would be a military coup, these officials said.

 Wednesday afternoon, angry, unarmed, mostly peaceful protesters stormed the Capitol. They caused hundreds of dollars in damages to "The People's House," the taxpayer-funded building where elected lawmakers work.

They took pictures seated at Nancy Pelosi's desk. They shoved furniture out of place. They pushed their way past unprepared and overwhelmed law enforcement. They shattered a window or two.

If not for police shooting and killing an unarmed, female 14-year Air Force veteran, the protest staged by Trump supporters would have more in common with a 1950s fraternity panty raid than political riot.

Here, I guess, I should apologize for not joining the rest of the media in feigning outrage and calling for the trespassers to be tried for treason. But I'm neither outraged nor feeling vengeful because of their act of civil disobedience.

I understand it. It was an inevitable repercussion from 2020 and what we've all witnessed the last decade. It was Sir Isaac Newton's third law come to life.

"For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."

For four years now, the billionaire and millionaire elites who control academia, the mainstream media, politics, popular culture, and the sports world have framed Trump supporters as racist deplorables worthy of elimination from society.

Kicking it up a notch

 So, it looks like, in 2021, after the craziness of 2020, the craziness is being kicked up a notch. Where a president speaking to his supporters at a rally is now an impeachable offense, and a guy taking selfies in the Speaker's chair is the gravest threat to democracy since-- oh, I don't know, maybe since the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor, and the 25th amendment must be invoked RIGHT NOW and Trump must be impeached RIGHT NOW even though he's only got two weeks left in his term of office. We haven't just lost our minds, we've put them in a weighted canvas bag, taken them out into the Pacific and dropped them into the Marianas Trench.

I don't mean to minimize the violence, especially not against that poor woman who was shot at point-blank range by a Capitol police officer, but after a summer of burning cities, looting businesses, toppling monuments, widespread vandalism, and billions of dollars of property damage, this all sounds like an immense overreaction. I mean, seriously, the Democrats are running around with their hair on fire calling the protests a "coup" and an "insurrection", an "invasion" and "an attempt to overthrow the government" ???. Like the crowd was going to set up some guy wearing buffalo cosplay as the country's new CEO. Yes, windows were broken and offices were trespassed. But the media were all like "something like this has NEVER happened EVER BEFORE", conveniently forgetting the 1954 U.S. Capitol terrorist attack by a group of Puerto Rican separatists who shot up the House of Representatives. Or, even more recently, when dozens of anti-Kavanaugh protestors "invaded" (what a great word that is) one of the Senate office buildings with nary a peep of alarm by the Democrat-media complex.

And they've been very busy on social media today, frantically carving out exceptions for themselves to the "protests are bad" rule they are insisting they have always upheld. This is different, they say. This is an attempt to overthrow the government. Conveniently forgetting that overthrowing the government is antifa's explicit raison d'etre. Donald Trump incited these riots, say they. Conveniently forgetting to explain what he actually said that incited the protestors, turning them into rioters.

And this is a tired joke, but I'm going to say it anyway: given the immense size of the crowd (a million?) and the tiny number (50-100, I think) of protesters who actually broke into the building, why can't we classify Wednesday's rally as "mostly peaceful"? Especially since, at the end of the day, pretty much everybody simply went home. That was the supposed "coup"? That was the attempt to "take over" the government? Are you freaking kidding me? If that was the plan, then whoever plotted the coup was real bad at it.

Opinion: I Now Better Understand the ‘Good German’

As my listeners and readers can hopefully attest, I have been on a lifelong quest to understand human nature and human behavior. I am sad to report that I have learned more in the past few years, particularly in 2020, than in any equivalent period of time.

One of the biggest revelations concerns a question that has always plagued me: How does one explain the “good German,” the term used to describe the average, presumably decent German, who did nothing to hurt Jews but also did nothing to help them and did nothing to undermine the Nazi regime? The same question could be asked about the average Frenchman during the Vichy era, the average Russian under Lenin, Joseph Stalin, Leonid Brezhnev, and their successors, and the millions of others who did nothing to help their fellow citizens under oppressive dictatorships.

These past few years have taught me not to so quickly judge the quiet German, Russian, etc. Of course, I still judge Germans who helped the Nazis and Germans who in any way hurt Jews. But the Germans who did nothing? Not so fast.

What has changed my thinking has been watching what is happening in America (and Canada and Australia and elsewhere, for that matter).

The ease with which tens of millions of Americans have accepted irrational, unconstitutional, and unprecedented police state-type restrictions on their freedoms, including even the freedom to make a living, has been, to understate the case, sobering.

The same holds true for the acceptance by most Americans of the rampant censorship on Twitter and all other major social media platforms. Even physicians and other scientists are deprived of freedom of speech if, for example, they offer scientific support for hydroxychloroquine along with zinc to treat COVID-19 in the early stages. Board-certified physician Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, who has saved hundreds of COVID-19 patients from suffering and/or death, has been banned from Twitter for publicizing his lifesaving hydroxychloroquine and zinc protocol.

Half of America, the nonleft half, is afraid to speak their minds at virtually every university, movie studio, and large corporation—indeed, at virtually every place of work.

ENOUGH WITH THE OUTRAGE

Like pretty much all conservatives, I have consistently criticized riots and other forms of political violence for many years. That includes yesterday’s Washington, D.C. riot. You can’t say the same about liberals, however. Until yesterday, one might have thought that liberals consider rioting and other forms of political violence to be as American as apple pie.

You could write a book in support of that proposition, but for now let’s cite just a few examples. Do you remember when President Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017? Leftist Democrats rioted in Washington that day. That riot was arguably worse, more violent and more destructive, than what happened in D.C. yesterday. The liberal rioters destroyed stores, set vehicles on fire and battled with the police. Six police officers were wounded.

I don’t recall a single Democratic office-holder denouncing the Democrats’ Inauguration Day riot, and the Associated Press came perilously close to praising the rioters.

Over the ensuing four years, Antifa and Black Lives Matter rioted countless times, bringing devastation to cities like Portland, Seattle, Kenosha and Minneapolis. Did any Democrats denounce these riots? Not that I remember. Many Democrats endorsed them, or seemed to do so. Kamala Harris, for example, said about the riots in June:

They’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop. This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop. And everyone beware because they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop before Election Day and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. And everyone should take note of that. They’re not gonna let up and they should not.

This was after 12 people had been killed in Democrat-sanctioned rioting, and billions of dollars in destruction committed. Have any Democrats denounced Black Lives Matter for its role in the riots? Not one. Has any Democrat denounced Antifa? Not that I know of, and some, like Keith Ellison, have specifically endorsed Antifa’s political violence.

As I said earlier, I find myself at odds with virtually the entire politico-media class in my reaction to the "storming" of the US Capitol. As I put it:

The political class (represented by a Speaker who flies home to San Francisco on her own government plane) has been largely insulated from the pathologies they have loosed upon the land. For a few hours yesterday they weren't.

In a self-governing republic of citizen-legislators, that ought to be sobering and instructive. But, of course, it wasn't. Still, I was surprised that even politicians and pundits could utter all that eyewash about "the citadel of democracy" and "a light to the world" with a straight face. It's a citadel of crap, and the lights went out long ago: ask anyone who needs that $600 "relief".

I despise the United States Congress, and not merely for the weeks I had to spend there during the Clinton impeachment trial: My contempt pre-dates that circus. It dates to the moment I first realized, as a recent arrival to this land, that when Dick Durbin or some such is giving some overwrought speech on a burning issue he is speaking to an entirely empty chamber - because there are no debates, because most of these over-entouraged Emirs of Incumbistan are entirely incapable of debate: See, inter alia, Ed Markey.

But the fact that they might as well be orating in front of the bathroom mirror isn't why I despise it. It's that the American media go along with the racket, and there's only the one pool camera with the fixed tight shot so that you can't see the joint is deserted and the guy is talking to himself. The wanker press is so protective of its politicians that it's happy to give the impression that a boob like Markey is Cromwell in the Long Parliament.

I have never seen such rubbish in the House of Commons at Ottawa or Westminster or their equivalents around the Commonwealth - and it's a charade in which the media are all-in.

So it's a Potemkin parliament.

Trump at the Finland Station?

Watching President Trump address the massive gathering in DC today, I kept thinking back to my days at the university when I read Edmund Wilson's, To The Finland Station. The edition I owned had a dramatic cover drawing depicting Lenin addressing adoring throngs gathered to receive him at Petrograd's famous train station upon his return to Russia in April 1917, after nearly 17 years in exile. That image has stayed with me over the years as a classic example of the melding of theater and politics. As noted, it came back to me watching Trump in DC. I don't want to push the analogy too far, but the subsequent televised images of a portion of the crowd besieging the Capitol and other government buildings conjured up in my mind the attack on the Winter Palace, the storming of the Bastille, Yeltsin on his tank before the Russian parliament building, the German Spartacist uprising of 1918-19, oh, well, you get it. I had a hard time believing this was the USA. 

I have no doubt that some of the "attackers" consisted of infiltrated BLM/Antifa thugs. I, however, cannot in good conscience blame it all on a "false flag" operation by those despicable and violent Communists. The fact that the "invaders" caused little damage, and, for example, did not burn the place down, indicates that there were few Antifa types. 

For the past several years, especially since the election of President Trump, the so-called progressives, better known as Communists, have striven to create "revolutionary conditions" in the US and the West, in general. They justified violence as a political instrument. They took over the schools and universities; they came to dominate the mass media, Hollywood, and the high tech enterprises, nearly all aspects of government, be it on a national or local level, the courts, and even the police--the blue are blue, so what are you backing when you back the blue? Was there any justification for the police shooting in the Capitol?

Trump Calls for Peace, But the "Conservative" Thought Leaders Call For War -- On Actual Conservatives

 Ace of Spades goes off on Republicans like Romney, Erickson, Lowry, Kerr, McCarthy, and all the rest of the grifters who made a good living pretending they were on your side.

Meanwhile, other Donor-Class Darlings are attacking Trump for not offering a full-throated-enough condemnation of Mostly Peaceful Protests.

Quick question, though: You know the candidate you in fact supported, but were too cowardly to forthrightly admit you supported? You know, the "moderate" Joe Biden?

Can you tell me when he condemned the violent anarchists of antifa?

Oh he refused to, right? He was demanded by Trump to denounce antifa, and refused, and said antifa was "just an idea" and therefore should not/could not be denounced?

And of course you took him to task for that, right?

Oh you didn't?

You know, for years, those of us on the Real Right have had one fundamental, dealbreaker demand: We shall not have two sets of rules, one for the left and one -- a much more punishing and vindictive one -- for the right.

And throughout all these years, the grifter pseudoright has backed up their leftwing allies' in their insistence that no, the left should have a more lenient and permissive set of rules, and should be permitted the occasional year-long spasm of psychopathic violence.

We should defer to the Moral Authority of the psychopathic left.

So yeah, the pseudoright agrees with the left on the minor issue of whether conservatives actually are full citizens in the US -- they agree with the left that we're second-class citizens as best. We're a kind of unconvicted-criminal class who are born into a lesser caste marked by limitations and special obligations.

But you know, they agree with us on the really fundamental "conservative" issues like whether their donor Google should be protected forever from an antitrust/monopoly practices lawsuit. And other big issues like whether or not their corporate donors should get another big tax break.

So, at least we have agreement on that.

So we're all one big happy Party, right?

The Holy Temple of of Liberalism Was Profaned

 This is what I learned today watching the MSM react to the news from Washington, DC.

OK. Kenosha may have burned.

Minneapolis may have been trashed.

NYC may have hosted a Liberal looting spree.

Portland may be the home of daily riots.

But to have citizens enter the Capital, the Holy of Holies in the American civic religion was the worst thing that could have happened.

The American people need to know their place, and it's not in the Capitol.

God’s Chaos Candidate.

 

 A month before the 2016 U.S. election, author and “futurist” Lance Wallnau released a book entitled God’s Chaos Candidate. In this book, Wallnau went against the odds and almost every poll and pundit to correctly predict Donald Trump as the next president.

This was an unusual prediction, given that many other Republican candidates were evangelical Christians, as is Wallnau himself. Indeed, Lance Wallnau was one of only three evangelical leaders to accurately predict Trump’s victory from the moment he began his campaign.

The reason Wallnau wrote his book was because in 2015, he began hearing unusual phrases in his spirit about the upcoming election. He was at first skeptical, holding to the biblical injunction to “test the spirits to see if they are from God”. But the phrases kept coming.

“Donald Trump will be the next president.”

“Donald Trump is a wrecking-ball to the spirit of political correctness.”

“You will see Trump Derangement Syndrome in the media.”

“The next president of the United States will be an Isaiah 45 president.”

This word about Isaiah 45 was especially specific and unusual. Wallnau went to Google to check which number president Obama was: he was the 44th.

Wallnau then opened Isaiah chapter 45, and read about King Cyrus.

Trump Call Actually Reveals A President Deep Into Detail, With Establishment Republicans Dismissive, Unwilling, And Rejecting Transparency

 

“I don’t know about that… I don’t have it in front of me… we’re looking into that…”

These weren’t the vague, non-committal words of the President of the United States on the phone call leaked by theWashington Post newspaper – which has recently taken millions of dollars from the Chinese Communist Party – this Sunday. They were the statements of the establishment Republicans on the call: Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Ryan Germany, and Deputy Secretary of State Jordan Fuchs on the January 2nd call....

 Despite the partisan framing from the Washington Post – that the call somehow reflected Trump making demands for votes from his Republican colleagues – the President actually does no such thing. Throughout the call, the President makes clear that his calls are for election transparency, full and transparent audits, and public access. At no point does the President imply he wants votes invented or confected, as the establishment media is portraying. He even offers to recuse himself from parts of the conversation and ends by asking for “the truth… it’s just that simple.”....

 Attorney Cleta Mitchell probably states it best during the call where she says: “…you can keep telling us and making public statement that you investigated this and nothing to see here. But we don’t know about that. All we know is what you tell us. What I don’t understand is why wouldn’t it be in everyone’s best interest to try to get to the bottom, compare the numbers, you know, if you say, because… to try to be able to get to the truth because we don’t have any way of confirming what you’re telling us. You tell us that you had an investigation at the State Farm Arena. I don’t have any report. I’ve never seen a report of investigation. I don’t know that is. I’ve been pretty involved in this, and I don’t know. And that’s just one of 25 categories.”

A CRISIS OF PERSPECTIVE: Pundits in Denial are Cratering Their Creditability

 I don’t know why so many of those on the right are failing to face reality at this critical time. The reality is if we fail this time, there is no next time. The villains who are claiming victory are telling us what our new conditions are going to be like. China will rule the world, with assists from Iran and European Union. The United States will be no more, and our former citizens will be eating insects and weeds in the Great Reset gulag camps for Covid vaccine deniers.  Richie watched and studied the 2020 presidential election. He calls it "the greatest scam and steal in world history." He says anyone who denies this election was stolen is a criminal who was in on the scam; a bribed politician or bureaucrat who benefits from the scam; or a complete naive moron.

What does the world's greatest horse-race fixer believe happened on election night? Richie says it's clear that President Donald Trump won in a landslide in key battleground states, so big that Democrats had to move quickly to plan B and bring in reinforcements -- vans, U.S. Postal Service trucks, even planes filled with fake ballots, in the wee hours of the morning, with no GOP witnesses watching.

The millions of fake ballots reportedly cast for Joe Biden weren't enough. Democratic scammers had to call a timeout and obviously brought in millions of additional fake ballots to erase Trump's massive lead.

In a coordinated conspiracy so easy to see -- Richie calls it "amateur hour" -- five states clearly agreed at the same time to pause or stop counting votes, thereby buying themselves time to have millions of additional fake ballots filled out, trucked in or, in some cases, flown into nearby airports.

In the case of Georgia, there are accusations of scammers faking that a pipe burst and caused a flood, during which they rolled out suitcases filled with ballots, all of which was caught on video.

Any idiot who isn't blind can see what happened, says Richie. It was as if a brazen gang of 50 carrying AK-47s and not wearing face coverings robbed five banks at the exact same time, showed their IDs on the way out the door, and then got a blind eye turned by every FBI agent and every judge. Maybe people are in denial. Maybe the D.C. swamp got to them. Maybe they're in on the scam. A lot of respectable people in power must be getting filthy rich on this scam, says Richie..... 

Yet here we sit, with a conspiracy so deep that political leaders, mainstream media, social media, judges, prosecutors, the U.S. justice system, and virtually every person in power in D.C. act as if nothing happened. And they do it so casually, so matter-of-factly, that Richie says it's easy to conclude they're all in on the scam.

Jan. 20 will determine whether we are still a nation of laws or a corrupt, third-world banana republic where horse-race fixers tell the truth and politicians are the real scam artists.
