[Millions of people simply walk across the border since Biden's election, but Worrell and Colligan blame Congress.  DeSantis took them to a liberal enclave that claimed to be a sanctuary for migrants but who quickly sent them away.]

The United States models itself as a country of immigrants, a great melting pot. Throughout its history it has welcomed people fleeing religious and political persecution, those in fear of war or violence or starvation, and those seeking lives of freedom and opportunity.

As much as this country is a physical state with defined borders, it is also an idea — a shining city on a hill, a beacon of liberty, a golden door. Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses, says Lady Liberty as she greets new arrivals in New York Harbor.

[A country without borders is not a country.  The Statue of Liberty is not part of American law.]

But there’s always been the other side of America. Protective, fearful, defensive. America should be for Americans, they say, as if a child has a choice as to where he or she is born. Close the golden door, extinguish the beacon, pull up the ladder to those grasping at its bottom rungs. Build the wall.

These two oppositional forces are not new — not at all — but the desperate people massing at our doorstep throughout the last decade have amplified that division. Those already inside the country illegally and who want to be a part of this country’s future wonder if America wants them, or only their labor.

[Question: do you want an unlimited number of people coming to America?  Because almost everyone who is not here wants to come here.  A question for Worrell and Colligan, is there a limit?  Can they come and stay are your house?]

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis isn’t the first American official to use vulnerable migrants as pawns for selfish political grandstanding. Stoking fear about immigrants is a nativist tale as old as time and DeSantis is simply the latest to wield that cudgel.

[Worrell and Colligan and their colleagues in the corporate press were way ahead of DeSantis to use immigrants as pawns.  If you would like to have some say about who comes to this country, you are a "nativist" and are "stoking fear."]

By sending a group of Venezuelans refugees to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, reportedly without their consent and possibly in violation of the law, DeSantis focused the nation’s attention on immigration.

[It is a stunning indictment of Worrell and Colligan that the millions of illegal migrants flooding our border have been hidden from the American people by the press until now.  Shameful.]

Will it stir a great national conversation on the issue? Honestly, it should. But will such a debate lead to rational, workable and effective solutions? That’s a steep hill to climb, for while both Republicans and Democrats agree something should be done, they disagree sharply about what.

Democrats want the nation to be welcoming of migrants, to formalize the status of the estimated 10 million undocumented people here, to provide a pathway for citizenship and expand visa programs that allow foreign nationals to come here for employment.

[Democrats are good guys.] 

In contrast, Republicans want to wall off the Southern border to halt migration from Central and South America, reduce the numbers of available visas and, per the party’s 2016 platform, reduce the number of naturalized citizens the country accepts each year.

[Repuiblicans are evil.] 

That’s a stark change from only 15 years ago, when President George W. Bush proposed an immigration compromise that would have provided a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants already in the country, greatly expanded access for guest workers and significantly expanded border security measures through the deployment of new technology and the hiring of tens of thousands of new border patrol officers.

Virginia played a pivotal role in scuttling that plan. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor helped champion the president’s plan, only for voters in the 7th District Republican primary to toss him out of Congress. His opponent, Dave Brat, smeared the proposal as “amnesty for illegals.”

Expecting President Joe Biden to solve this problem himself is absurd, as it was to ask his predecessors to do so. The failure here is Congress, which needs to take responsibility for the issue and draft comprehensive legislation that addresses undocumented immigrants living here, provides the resources to care for and thoughtfully address migrants coming here, that expands visa programs for guest workers and, yes, strengthens border security.

[No.  The problem is Biden's decision to allow an uncontrolled surge of millions of people from all over the world to simply walk into the country.  That is the first and most critical issue that must be addressed. All other questions can wait.]

But it should be a policy rooted in compassion and in the belief that this nation should be a refuge from oppression, violence and fear. Immigrants have been instrumental to this country’s growth and prosperity, our defense and our endurance. To demonize them — as Americans throughout history have gleefully done — is to ignore that they are essential threads in the national fabric.

[It is cruel and desperately evil to encourage millions of people to begin a mass migration with the promise that once they get over the border, they can stay.  On the way here, thousands die, thousands are raped and abused, migrants are extorted by cartels who demand money to bring them over the border, and hundreds of thousands of Americans are murdered by fentanyl brought in by the drug cartels who use the migration as a way of bringing their killer drugs here.  The Biden open borders policy is a great crime against humanity.

This is the reality that Worrell and Colligan do not want you to know.  They are handmaids of evil.]  

To treat desperate people so cruelly, as DeSantis did, is reprehensible. But until Congress does its job, there will be more like him who follow and who will do worse.

[DeSantis did the American people a favor by forcing the press to actually acknowledge the crisis.  He chartered two planes to fly 50 illegal migrants to one of the richest, most Liberal enclaves in the country, a community that labeled itself as a "sanctuary city."  This so-called sanctuary city called in the National Guard to expel the migrants within 48 hours of their arrival.  Worrell and Colligan, and the rich snobs of Martha's Vineyard are heartless, soulless creatures who are good at virtue signaling but want nothing to do with the actual human beings who look to them for help.]

If I were a real MAGA extremist, I’d be able to tell you about a specific murder trend happening in America right now, but I don’t want to get on the FBI terror watch list. 

What I can tell you is this: we are living in a real-life version of The Purge. Murders are up at least 44 percent in two years.  

For over two years, we heard a long list of murder victims shouted on TV every day. I know by heart the names and murder circumstances of Breonna Taylor, Trayvon Martin, Ahmaud Arbury, George Floyd, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, and many others. 

This new trend is a little different. In fact, I couldn’t help noticing that some particularly gruesome recent killings have been met with a strangely subdued reaction by the mainstream media. Which is weird, because silence is violence....

The only murders that seem to get the big headlines—the ones that trigger tweets from important people like Mark Ruffalo and Katy Perry and LeBron James—are those that involve white school shooters and white police officers. America’s other victims simply do not matter. Another fifty shot in Chicago? That’s just another way to say Saturday. The guns did it, we must hunt down the guns that did it!

When you are a dead member of the out group, your depraved rape and murder gets a shrug and an eye roll, if you’re lucky. ...

There were no rallies, marches, or protests in honor of Eliza Fletcher or Brianna Kupfer. No one bothered to organize a commemorative riot, or even host an honorary CVS looting in their names. No Target was ceremoniously burned to the ground in her honor. No one screamed “SAY HER NAME!” at a candlelight vigil attended by weeping mayors and city officials. No t-shirts were printed up with their faces on them. The President and Vice President stayed silent. Nancy Pelosi did not kneel for two minutes in silence in the halls of congress. No one held a press conference and said, “Brianna Kupfer looked like she could be my daughter.” 

It’s hard to protest a crime if you don’t know who to blame. As I tweeted, feminists are already blaming Eliza Fletcher’s death on toxic masculinity. But female joggers are not catcalled and killed by men angry that you are exercising in shorts. They are killed by violent rapists fresh out of jail looking for easy targets. ...

Dr. Fauci has much to answer for

  

 “I am Science” Fauci has much to answer for, and one of them is an elderly widow in North Carolina. 

I spoke with her today, and when I asked her how she was doing, she admitted that she was not doing well.  I asked if she was ill.  No, she said, she’s sad and depressed because she has been confined to her house for years.

"Why?" I asked.  It’s because of “science.”  You see, she’s 82 years old, and she’s staying indoors and only goes out masked because she doesn’t want to die.  The “science” tells her, as an elderly widow, that to keep on living, she should spend her time indoors, away from people. 

A retired schoolteacher trained and conditioned to live like a hermit suffers depression because people like Anthony Fauci –who publicly identified himself with science – have not told her that she could go back to living a normal life.  She’s a Christian, but her faith in Jesus Christ is not nearly as strong as in Fauci – and Science.

There are a lot of things that Anthony Fauci should answer for, but when it gets to the personal level, he should be tried for impersonating “Science” and destroying the last reaming years of an unfortunate widow living by herself in n North Carolina who is afraid to go out and resume life, because Fauci has convinced her that to go out, is a death sentence.

The Klan Was Never This Effective

 

Black Chicagoans are nearly 40 times more likely to be shot to death than their white peers, according to an analysis by the University of Chicago Crime Lab.

 There’s just no dressing this up. The reality depicted here is a disgrace and a scandal. If Alabama or South Carolina or some other “Trump” jurisdiction had a murder rate of black people forty times what it is for whites, do you think that might get, say, at least a smidgen of the anguished publicity the MSM gave the recent mass shootings, grotesque as they were? Do you think Merrick Garland might be able find his way to the microphone? Or Joe Biden?

Still, the gross imbalance in the Left’s well-hyped outrage, revealing as it is, is not the main problem. The main problem is murder, and specifically the out-of-control murder of black people. Although the problem is particularly awful in Chicago, it exists to a lesser but still appalling extent in the country as a whole. Overall in the United States, blacks are 12.5% of the population but 53% of the murder victims.

Does it need to be said that almost all of the killers are also black? 

Covid Fascism has devastated small business

 

Go to a restaurant today, even after the COVID lockdowns have been lifted and you will find them struggling.  Service is slow because they can't find staff.  Half the tables are empty because that's all the restaurant can handle.  

It was all based on a lie.

Tens of thousands of small businesses destroyed due to the COVID lockdowns and shutdowns will never return. Barely six months into our COVID hysteria—as I noted in November of 2020—it was clear that fascist government policies were devastating small businesses throughout the U.S. As I noted at the time,

In spite of the science and the months of real-time data that proved it unnecessary, the left has persisted with shutting down businesses and churches. As a result of these state-enforced lockdowns, hundreds of thousands of small businesses in the U.S. have shut down—many of them permanently so.

Data from late September show that between March 1 and August 31, a total of 163,735 businesses on Yelp—which is especially representative of small businesses—closed. According to Yelp, about 60 percent of these businesses (nearly 98,000) will never reopen. The Yelp data reveal that small restaurants and retail stores have been hit particularly hard. It has made zero sense that Walmart, Target, Home Depot—none of whom were requiring masks as late as middle July—and the like have been allowed to remain open, while your local diner, gun store, or gym was forced to close.

By June of 2021, COVID shutdowns and lockdowns had destroyed nearly 40% of U.S. small businesses.

This disaster was partly the default of "experts" who were terribly wrong, partly the Democrats' political desire to destroy the Trump Presidency, partly the unending hysteria generated by the media for its own profit, and partly the result of weak, stupid, political leadership that failed to understand the damage they were doing.  

The American people suffer today at the hands of the worst ruling class in our history.

NEVER FORGET THE COVID FASCISTS:

In the nearly 250-year history of the U.S., never before has the American government exercised such power over its citizenry as it did in the name of “slowing the spread,” “following the science,” and the like. And never before in the history of the U.S. has the exercise of government power been so misinformed and misguided, with such disastrous results.

Of course, with elections looming, in an attempt to escape responsibility for their COVID tyranny, Democrats and their lackeys in the media want to blame “the pandemic,” and whenever possible, Donald Trump and the MAGA agenda. For example, last week, the American drive-by media widely reported on the “dismal learning loss” suffered by U.S. students “due to the pandemic.” The idea that “the pandemic erased two decades of progress in math and reading” was frequently parroted by said media.

Tens of millions of American students suffered far more than “learning loss” from the late winter of 2020 until now, but almost none of this was “due to the pandemic.” Rather, it was all due to a widespread foolish—and often downright evil—reaction to the pandemic.

When confronted with the national test results that revealed the scope of the “learning loss” suffered by U.S. students, “turning reality on its head,” the Biden administration pointed the finger at Trump and the GOP and said that re-opening schools “was the work of Democrats in spite of Republicans.” As Guy Benson at Townhall.com noted, this is a “brazen lie.”

We all know that’s not true. It’s the opposite of the truth. Conservative governors were assailed for ‘killing’ children as they made the right call, as Democrat-funded teachers’ unions blasted school re-openings as white supremacy, and other such insulting nonsense. They cannot run away from their policies, and they cannot run away from their words.

For the Deep State, Trump Was Never President

There is something peculiar going on with the post facto attempts to justify the search of Donald Trump’s home. At first we were told that he had purloined American nuclear secrets, complete with rank speculation that he sold them to the highest bidder. Then the magistrate who authorized the search warrant ordered the release of a highly redacted supporting affidavit.

The affidavit said nothing about nuclear secrets and also had no specificity about the documents being sought; rather, it showed that the whole affair arose from a spat with the National Archives, the presidential equivalent of overdue library books.

When the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, evidently they took everything, including personal effects, passports, and a large number of sensitive documents protected by attorney-client privilege. In a separate lawsuit brought by Trump, another federal judge appointed a special master to review the seized documents. This decision implicitly recognized that Trump’s claims of executive privilege may have some weight.

After this, the leaks changed. The leakers dropped the nonsense about American nuclear secrets, and said, instead, that Trump possessed a report about an unnamed nation’s nuclear capability.

Like Schrödinger’s Cat, the seized documents have two fates at once. They are at once so secret that they justify an unprecedented imposition on a former president, and they are simultaneously fully suitable for being leaked and discussed in the pages of the Washington Post. 

One may recall that during the Obama years, the administration went hard against leaks, including subpoenaing phone records and other documents from reporters whose stories suggested access to classified information. Here, there has been no substantial effort to identify the leaker. Whoever is talking to the Washington Post is likely someone very high up, and the leaks are being made with the White House’s blessing.

Another revelation from Monday’s order concerned the amount of personal material the FBI seized. “The Government’s inventory reflects a seizure of approximately 11,000 documents and 1,800 other items from Plaintiff’s residence,” the court wrote. Of the material seized, the court said approximately 100 documents contained classification markings. But the FBI also seized some 500 pages of material potentially protected by attorney-client privilege, medical documents, correspondence related to taxes, and accounting information. 

Further, as the court noted, “the Government also has acknowledged that it seized some “[p]ersonal effects without evidentiary value.” And “some of the seized items (e.g., articles of clothing)” were “readily identifiable as personal property.” The FBI had also seized three of Trump’s passports, but those items have already been returned to the former president.

That the FBI seized Trump’s passports, articles of clothing, medical records, and accounting and tax documents during the raid of Mar-a-Lago highlights both the breadth (and lack of particularity) of the search warrant and the potential for the Biden administration to use the search as a fishing expedition.

And while the special master may not be able to silence the deep-state leakers, he or she will provide a check to the Biden administration.

Biden Explains We Can Only Come Together As A Nation By Exterminating The Republican Half

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a stirring call for unity and peace in America, President Biden today called for killing off half the country.

"It's real simple, folks! " said President Biden. "America can be united if we can just murder everyone who disagrees with me. Peace in our time, Jack!"

While most Democrats agreed with Biden's understatedly brilliant plan, some expressed concern that he was getting ahead of himself. "We've only just recently introduced the idea that anyone who disagrees with us is a dangerous extremist who deserves to die," said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison. "You've got to give that a little more time to marinate before we really start taking them out."

Republicans argued that telling people you disagree with to die isn't really unity, but to no avail. "Hey, I tried asking nicely for you to stop disagreeing with me," said Biden. "But you Republicans are making unity impossible by insisting on saying I'm wrong. So we've got to do what any good democracy does - kill all of you."

At publishing time, Biden accused Republicans of violence after they reportedly started buying guns to defend themselves from extermination.

FBI Says The Documents In Trump’s Possession Were So Classified They Were Printed With Invisible Ink On Invisible Paper

 

WASHINGTON, DC — Officials from the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were forced to defend themselves today as news came out that many of the file folders confiscated in the raid of former President Donald Trump's residence at Mar-A-Lago were empty.

"There's an easy explanation for all of this," said FBI spokesperson Gaby Rosca in a prepared statement. "The fact of the matter is, many of the documents Mr. Trump had in his possession were so classified and contained such sensitive information that they had to be printed with invisible ink on invisible paper. This is a common practice at the higher levels of government so that there is no paper trail left behind."

Trump took to Truth Social to respond to the accusation of his hoarding invisible documents. "This is just further proof that the raid on Mar-A-Lago was a witch hunt. Sad!" Trump said in the post. "The FBI doesn't even have invisibility cloaks, much less invisible paper. That was the second question I asked when I got to the White House. First, aliens, and then invisibility cloaks. I did have lots of empty file folders, but only because that's how geniuses hide things, they use decoys. And the FBI fell for it, those losers!"

Most my life, I've viewed Democrats as Low IQ, dumb socialists.

Over the past years - with their sexualization of children, abortions up until 9 months, love of criminals, and hatred of Christianity and the family - I view them all as evil satanists.

The malignant and divisive spirit of his speech will not soon be quelled

 

What we are seeing, in fact, is the promulgation of a neo-Manichean philosophy. That heretical sect, named for a third-century A.D. Parthian seer called Mani, was an astringently dualistic creed that divided the world into light and dark, the saved and the damned. According to the creed of Biden and the elites who formulate his thoughts and speeches, the radical Democratic agenda of climate change, “green” intimidation, wealth redistribution, and sexual perversion is the gospel of light. Outer darkness is occupied by people who espouse such traditional American values as hard work, frugality, patriotism, individual liberty, and the canons of private property that guarantee those rights. It is a strange and unforgiving religion, one whose primary sacrament is excommunication. Ultimately, as some wag put it, its goal is a world in which everything that is not prohibited is mandatory.

Biden declares war on half the country

 

Joe Biden’s speech at Philadelphia’s Independence Hall on Thursday was one of the most remarkable in living memory. By “remarkable,” I hasten to add that I do not mean “good.” On the contrary, it was a breathtaking act of what the psychoanalysts call “projection,” blaming others for the bad things you do yourself.

The speech itself was a malignant act of demagoguery that will have colonels and generalissimos everywhere catching their breath with envy. The neo-totalitarian stage set, replete with red lighting effects and military personal flanking the shouting, gesticulating Biden, was right out of central casting. Next time, perhaps Biden will wear epaulettes along with his signature aviators.
