GOP: Romney can shame Obama, boost foreign policy credentials with Israel trip

Seems like a good idea, but there are a few questions I would ask:

• Will it affect the love affair Jewish voters have with Democrats?
• Will it distract from the focus on the economy?
• Will it do anything to raise the energy level of Evangelical Christians?
• Are the "moderates" going to care?

With all the time in the world, Romney should do this, but what would he have to cut from his schedule?  How will a visit to Israel fit in with his strategy and the appropriate focus on the economy?
